< Luka 15 >

1 Koro josol osuru gi joricho nochokore machiegni mondo giwinje.
Now all the tax collectors and sinners were approaching him to hear him.
2 To jo-Farisai gi Jopuonj Chik ne ngʼur kawacho niya, “Ngʼatni rwako joricho kendo ochiemo kodgi.”
And the Pharisees and the scholars murmured, saying, This man receives sinners and eats with them.
3 Eka Yesu nogoyo nigi ngero ni:
And he spoke this parable to them, saying,
4 “Ka ngʼato kuomu dibedi ni en gi rombe mia achiel, to achiel kuomgi olal, donge ngʼatno diwe piero ochiko gochikogo e pap kama ler kendo odhi omany rombo molal nyaka oyude?
What man of you, having a hundred sheep, and having lost one of them, does not leave behind the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go for that which was lost until he finds it?
5 To ka oyude, okete e goke komor
And when he finds it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
6 kendo odhiyo dala. Eka oluongo osiepene gi jogwengʼ-gi kaachiel, kowacho ni, ‘Moruru koda, aseyudo nyarombona ma yande olal.’
And when he comes to the house, he calls together his men friends and his men neighbors, saying to them, Rejoice with me, because I have found my sheep that was lost.
7 Awachonu ni kamano e kaka mor nobedi e polo kuom jaricho achiel molokore, moloyo mor kuom ji piero ochiko gochiko mabeyo ma ok dwar weyo richo.
I say to you, that thus there will be joy in heaven over one sinner who repents, than over ninety-nine righteous men who have no need of repentance.
8 “Kata ka dibed ni nitie dhako man-gi silinge mamingli apar, to achiel olalne. Donge domok taya, kendo yweyo ot, ka omanye maber mondo omi oyude?
Or what woman having ten drachmas, if she lose one drachma, does not light a lamp, and sweep the house, and seek diligently until she finds it?
9 To ka oyude, oluongo osiepene gi jogwengʼ-gi kaachiel, kowacho ni, ‘Moruru koda, aseyudo pesana manolal.’
And when she has found it, she calls together her lady friends and lady neighbors, saying, Rejoice with me, because I found the drachma that I lost.
10 Mana kamano, awachonu e kaka mor e nyim malaika mag Nyasaye nobedie kuom jaricho achiel moweyo richo.”
Thus I say to you, there becomes joy in the presence of the agents of God over one sinner who repents.
11 Yesu nomedo wacho niya, “Ne nitie ngʼato moro mane nigi yawuowi ariyo.
And he said, A certain man had two sons,
12 Wuowi ma chogo nowacho ni wuon mare ni, ‘Wuora, pogna mwanduna makora.’ Omiyo mano nopogo yawuote ariyogo mwandune.
and the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion of goods that falls to me. And he divided to them his living.
13 “Bangʼ ndalo manok, wuowi machogono nokawo gige duto moloko pesa, eka nowuok modhi e piny mabor to kuro notiyo gi mwandune e yor dak e ngima mar anjawo.
And not many days after, the younger son, having gathered all together, journeyed into a distant country, and there he squandered his wealth living recklessly.
14 Kane osetieko pesane duto, kech mager nowuok e pinyno duto, mi nodoko jachan machandore.
And when he spent all, a mighty famine developed in that country, and he began to be in want.
15 Kuom mano nodhi mondo otine japiny moro, mi ngʼatno nokete jakwa anguro.
And having gone, he was joined to one of the citizens of that country, and he sent him into his fields to feed swine.
16 Nogombo mondo ocham opokla ma anguro chamo, to bende onge ngʼato mane omiye gimoro.
And he longed to fill his belly from the husks that the swine ate, and no man gave to him.
17 “Kane parone odwogone, nowacho ni, ‘Jotij wuonwa adi man-gi chiemo moromogi, madongʼ, to an to kech chama monego atho!
But when he came to himself, he said, How many hired men of my father's have abundance of loaves, but I am perishing with hunger.
18 Abiro wuok kendo adog ir wuora mi anawachne ni: Wuora, asetimo richo e nyim polo kendo e nyimi.
After rising, I will go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in thy sight.
19 Ok awinjora koro oluonga ni wuodi; keta abed kaka achiel kuom jotichni.’
I am no more worthy to be called thy son. Make me as one of thy hired men.
20 Omiyo noa malo kendo nodhi ir wuon mare. “To kane pod en kuma bor, wuon mare nonene, kendo kopongʼ gi kech kuome, noringo kodhiyo ir wuode, nokwake gi bade kendo nonyodhe.
And having risen, he went to his father. But while he was still distant, afar off, his father saw him and felt compassion. And having ran, he fell on his neck, and kissed him much.
21 “Wuowino nowachone ni, ‘Wuora, asetimo richo e nyim polo kendo e nyimi. Ok awinjora koro mondo oluonga ni wuodi.’
And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in thy sight. I am no more worthy to be called thy son.
22 “To wuon mare nowacho ne jotichne ni, ‘Timuru piyo kendo keluru law maberie moloyo mondo urwakne. Ketneuru tere e lith lwete kendo wuoche mondo urwakne e tiende.
But the father said to his bondmen, Bring forth the best robe and clothe him, and give a ring for his hand, and shoes for his feet.
23 Keluru nyarwath machwe uyangʼ. Wachamuru wabed mamor.
And having brought the fatted calf, kill it, and having eaten, we will be cheerful,
24 Nikech wuodani yande otho, to koro onwangʼe.’ Kamano negichako timo nyasi ka gimor.
because this my son was dead, and became alive again. And he was lost, and is found. And they began to be cheerful.
25 “E kindeno, noyudo ka wuowi maduongʼ ni e puodho. Kane obiro machiegni gi ot nowinjo wer gi miel.
But his elder son was in a field. And while coming, having approached the house, he heard music and dancing.
26 Omiyo noluongo achiel kuom jotich kendo nopenje ni en angʼo matimore.
And having summoned one of the boys, he inquired what these things might be.
27 Nodwoke ni, ‘Owadu osedwogo, to wuonu osenego nyarwath machwe nikech osedwogo kongima kendo maber.’
And he said to him, Thy brother arrived, and thy father has killed the fatted calf, because he received him back healthy.
28 “To wuowi maduongʼ mirima nomako, kendo notamore donjo e ot. Omiyo wuon mare nowuok oko odhiyo ire kendo nosaye mondo odonji.
But he was angry, and would not go in. Therefore, his father having come out, he called him.
29 To nodwoko wuon mare ni, ‘Neye, hignigi duto asebedo katiyoni ka misumba kendo aserito chikeni. To eka pok imiyoa kata mana nyadiel mondo ayangʼ, abedgo mamor kod osiepena.
But having answered, he said to his father, Lo, so many years do I serve thee, and I never passed by a commandment of thine, and yet thou never gave me a goat that I might be merry with my friends.
30 To ka wuodini, moseketho gigegi gi mon ma jochode ka obiro dala, to iyangʼone nyarwath machwe!’
But when this thy son came, who has devoured thy living with harlots, thou killed for him the fatted calf.
31 “Wuon mare nowacho niya, ‘Wuoda, in koda ndalo duto, kendo gik moko duto ma an-go gin magi.
And he said to him, Child, thou are always with me, and all my things are yours.
32 To nyaka ne wabed mamor kendo bed moil, nikech owaduni yande otho to koro ongima, kendo yande olal to koro oyude!’”
But it was needful to make merry and be glad, because this thy brother was dead, and became alive again, and was lost, and was found.
