< Luka 10 >

1 Bangʼ mano, Ruoth noyiero ji piero abiriyo gariyo mamoko, kendo noorogi ariyo, ariyo mondo otel nyime e mier duto kod kamoro amora mane obiro dhiyoe.
After these things, the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city, and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Nowachonegi niya, “Cham ochiek mathoth, to jotich nok kuom mano kwauru Ruodh keyo mondo oor jotich odhi e puothe mar keyo.
Therefore said he to them, The harvest truly [is] great, but the laborers [are] few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth laborers into his harvest.
3 Dhiuru! Aorou mondo udhi mana kaka rombe e dier ondiegi.
Go: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Kik utingʼ ofuku mar pesa, kata ofuku mar wuoth, kata mana opato, kendo kik umos ngʼato e yo.
Carry neither purse, nor sack, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 “Ka udonjo e ot to wachuru mokwongo ni, ‘Kwe obedi e odni.’
And into whatever house ye enter, first say, Peace [be] to this house.
6 Ka ngʼat kwe ni kanyo to kwe maru nobed kuome; to ka ok kamano, to kweuno noduognu.
And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 Beduru e odno, ka uchamo kendo umadho gimoro amora ma gimiyou, nimar jatich owinjore gi pokne. Kik uwuothi ka ua e ot ka ot.
And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the laborer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 “Ka udonjo e dala mi orwaku to chamuru gino ma oket e nyimu.
And into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you.
9 Changuru joma tuo man kanyo kendo wachnegiuru ni, ‘Pinyruoth Nyasaye osekayo machiegni kodu.’
And heal the sick that are therein, and say to them, The kingdom of God is come nigh to you.
10 To ka udonjo e dala moro to ok orwaku, dhiuru e akek yore kendo uwach niya,
But into whatever city ye enter, and they receive you not, go out into the streets of the same, and say,
11 ‘Kata mana buch dalau momoko e tiendewa watengʼo oko. To beduru kungʼeyo maler ni: Pinyruoth Nyasaye osekayo machiegni.’
Even the very dust of your city which cleaveth on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding, be ye sure of this, that the kingdom of God is come nigh to you.
12 Awachonu ni nobed maber-ber ne Sodom maloyo dalano.
But I say to you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city.
13 “Mano kaka unune malit un jo-Korazin! Mano kaka unune malit un jo-Bethsaida! Nimar ka dine honni motimnugi dinetim ne Turo gi Sidon to dine giseweyo richo chon ka girwakore gi lep gugru, kendo gibet ka gibukore gi buru.
Woe to thee, Chorazin! woe to thee Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 To enobed maber-ber ne Turo gi Sidon e ndalo mar ngʼado bura moloyo ne un.
But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.
15 To in Kapernaum bende ibiro tingʼori malo nyaka polo koso? Ooyo, ibiro lwar piny nyaka piny joma otho. (Hadēs g86)
And thou, Capernaum, which art exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. (Hadēs g86)
16 “Ngʼat ma winjou, winja, ngʼat modagiu odaga, kendo ngʼat modaga odagi jal ma noora.”
He that heareth you, heareth me; and he that despiseth you, despiseth me; and he that despiseth me, despiseth him that sent me.
17 Ji piero abiriyogo noduogo kod ilo mi giwacho niya, “Ruoth, nyaka jochiende bende winjowa ka wagologi e nyingi.”
And the seventy returned with joy, saying, Lord, even the demons are subject to us through thy name.
18 Nodwoko niya, “Ne aneno Satan kalor aa e polo mana ka mil polo.
And he said to them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
19 Asemiyou loch mondo unyon thuonde gi thomoni kendo uloo teko duto mag jasigu bende onge gima nohinyu.
Behold, I give to you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
20 To kik ubed moil ni jochiende winjou, to beduru moil ni nyingu ondiki e polo.”
Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits are subject to you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
21 E sechego ka Roho Maler nomiyo Yesu opongʼ gi ilo, nowacho niya, “Apakoi, Wuonwa, Ruodh polo gi piny, nikech isepando gigi ne joma riek gi joma osomo, to isefwenyogi ne nyithindo matindo. Ee, Wuora, nimar mano ema ne berni kotimore.
In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.
22 “Wuonwa oseketo gik moko duto e lweta. To onge ngʼama ongʼeyo Wuowi makmana Wuoro kende, bende onge ngʼama ongʼeyo Wuoro makmana Wuowi kaachiel gi joma Wuowi oyiero mondo ofwenynegi.”
All things are delivered to me by my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and [he] to whom the Son will reveal [him].
23 Eka nolokore ir jopuonjrene kendo nowachonegi kar kendgi niya, “Ogwedh wenge maneno gik munenogi.
And he turned himself to [his] disciples, and said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see.
24 Nimar awachonu ni jonabi kod ruodhi mangʼeny ne gombo neno gik munenogi, to ne ok gineno kendo winjo gik muwinjogi, to ne ok giwinjo.”
For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see the things which ye see, and have not seen [them]; and to hear the things which ye hear, and have not heard [them].
25 Chiengʼ moro achiel, ngʼat moro molony e chik nochungʼ mondo otem Yesu, nopenjo niya, “Japuonj, en angʼo monego atim eka ayud ngima mochwere kaka girkeni mara?” (aiōnios g166)
And behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (aiōnios g166)
26 Nodwoko niya, “Angʼo mondiki e chik? Isome nade?”
He said to him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
27 Nomedo dwoke niya, “‘Her Jehova Nyasaye ma Nyasachi gi chunyi duto gi paroni duto, gi tekoni duto kendo gi riekoni duto;’ kendo ni, ‘Her wadu kaka iherori iwuon.’”
And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself.
28 Yesu nodwoke niya, “Isedwoko kare, tim kamano, eka inibed mangima.”
And he said to him, Thou hast answered right: this do, and thou shalt live.
29 To kaka nodwaro mondo onenre ngʼat mariek, nomedo penjo Yesu niya, “Nyawadwa to en ngʼa?”
But he, willing to justify himself, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbor?
30 Yesu nodwoke niya, “Ngʼat moro ne wuotho koa Jerusalem ka oridore Jeriko, kendo nopo kopodho e lwet jomecho. Ne gilonyo lepe, gigoye, kendo giweye kochiegni tho.
And Jesus answering said, A certain [man] went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among robbers, who stripped him of his raiment, and wounded [him], and departed, leaving [him] half dead.
31 To noyudo jadolo moro wuotho koluwo, yorno, to kane oneno ngʼatno, nobaro moluwo bath yo komachielo.
And by chance there came down a certain priest that way; and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.
32 Kamano bende, ja-Lawi moro kane ochopo kanyo monene nokadho gi komachielo.
And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked [on him], and passed by on the other side.
33 To ja-Samaria moro mane dhi wuoth nochopo kama ne ngʼatno nitie, kendo ka nonene, nokeche.
But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came were he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion [on him],
34 Nodhi ire motweyo adhondene kooloe mo kod divai. Eka noketo ngʼatno e ngʼe pundane owuon kendo notere e od bworo kendo norite maber.
And went to [him], and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Kinyne nogolo pesa mamingli mag fedha ariyo nomiyo jarit odno. Nowachone ni, ‘Rite to ka aduogo abiro chuli nengo ma imedo ritego!’
And on the morrow, when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave [them] to the host, and said to him, Take care of him: and whatever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee.
36 “Kuom ji adekgi ere miparo ni ne en wadgi ngʼat mane opodho e lwet jomechogo?”
Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbor to him that fell among the robbers?
37 Ngʼat molony gi chik nodwoko niya, “En ngʼat mane okeche.” Eka Yesu nowachone niya, “Dhi kendo itim kamano.”
And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus to him, Go, and do thou likewise.
38 Kane oyudo Yesu gi jopuonjrene ni e yo, nochopo gwengʼ kama dhako miluongo ni Maritha norwake e ode.
Now it came to pass, as they were going, he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman, named Martha, received him into her house.
39 Ne en gi nyamin mane iluongo ni Maria, mane obet piny, e tiend Ruoth kowinjo gima owacho.
And she had a sister called Mary, who also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word.
40 To Maritha nodich gi tich mangʼeny mane nyaka tim. Nodhi ire mopenjo niya, “Ruoth, ok idewo ni nyaminwa oweya atiyo mana kenda nyise mondo okonya!”
But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, dost thou not care that my sister hath left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.
41 Ruoth nodwoke niya, “Maritha, Maritha, iparori kendo ithagori kuom gik mangʼeny kayiem,
And Jesus answered, and said to her, Martha, Martha, thou art anxious, and troubled about many things:
42 to gimoro achiel kende ema dwarore. Maria oseyiero gima ber moloyo kendo ok nomaye ngangʼ.”
But one thing is needful; and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.
