Salme 148
1 Halleluja! Pris Herren i himlen, pris ham i det høje!
Praise Yahweh - praise Yahweh from the heavens praise him in the heights.
2 Pris ham, alle hans engle, pris ham, alle hans hærskarer,
Praise him O all angels his praise him O all (hosts his. *QK)
3 pris ham, sol og måne, pris ham, hver lysende stjerne,
Praise him O sun and moon praise him O all [the] stars of light.
4 pris ham, himlenes himle og vandene over himlene!
Praise him O heaven of the heavens and the waters which - [are] above the heavens.
5 De skal prise Herrens navn, thi han bød, og de blev skabt;
Let them praise [the] name of Yahweh for he he commanded and they were created.
6 han gav dem deres plads for evigt, han gav en lov, som de ej overtræder!
And he established them for ever for ever a decree he gave and not it will pass away.
7 Lad pris stige op til Herren fra jorden, I havdyr og alle dyb,
Praise Yahweh from the earth O sea monsters and all [the] deeps.
8 Ild og hagl, sne og røg, storm, som gør hvad han siger,
O fire and hail snow and smoke wind of storm [which] does word his.
9 I bjerge og alle høje, frugttræer og alle cedre,
O mountains and all hills tree[s] of fruit and all cedars.
10 I vilde dyr og alt kvæg, krybdyr og vingede fugle,
O animal[s] and all livestock creeping thing[s] and bird[s] of wing.
11 I jordens konger og alle folkeslag, fyrster og alle jordens dommere,
O kings of [the] earth and all peoples of icials and all rulers of [the] earth.
12 ynglinge sammen med jomfruer, gamle sammen med unge!
O young men and also young women old [people] with youths.
13 De skal prise Herrens navn, thi ophøjet er hans navn alene, hans højhed omspender jord og himmel.
Let them praise - [the] name of Yahweh for [is] exalted name his to only him splendor his [is] above earth and heaven.
14 Han løfter et horn for sit folk, lovprist af alle sine fromme, af Israels børn, det folk, der står ham nær. Halleluja!
And he has raised up a horn - for people his praise for all faithful [people] his for [the] people of Israel a people kinsmen his praise Yahweh.
