1 Issakas Sønner var: Tola, Pua, Jasjub og Sjimron, fire.
And, to the sons of Issachar, belonged, Tola and Push, Jashib and Shimron, four.
2 Tolas Sønner: Uzzi, Refaja, Jeriel, Jamaj, Jibsam og Sjemuel, Overhoveder for Tolas Fædrenehuse, dygtige Krigere. Efter deres Slægtebøger udgjorde deres Tal på Davids Tid 22600.
And, the sons of Tola, were Uzzi and Rephaiah and Jeriel and Jahmai and Ibsam and Shemuel, chiefs of their ancestral house, pertaining to Tola, heroes of valour, in their generations, —their number, in the days of David, twenty-two thousand and six hundred.
3 Uzzis Sønner: Jizraja, Jizrajas Sønner Mikael, Obadja, Joel og Jissjija, fem, alle sammen Overhoveder.
And, the sons of Uzzi, Izrahiah, —and, the sons of Izrahiah, Michael and Obadiah and Joel, Isshiah—five, chiefs, all of them;
4 Til dem hørte efter deres Slægtebøger, efter deres Fædrenehuse, krigsrustede Skarer, 36000; de havde nemlig mange kvinder og Børn.
and, with them by their generations, pertaining to their ancestral house, were bands of a host for war, thirty-six thousand, —for they had many wives and sons;
5 Deres Brødre, alle Issakars Slægter, var dygtige Krigere; de, som var indført i deres Slægtebog, udgjorde i alt 87 000.
and, their brethren, of all the families of Issachar, heroes of great valour, were eighty-seven thousand, when they had, all, registered themselves.
6 Benjamins Sønner: Bela, Beker og Jediael, tre.
Benjamin, Bela and Becher and Jediael, three.
7 Belas Sønner: Ezbon, Uzzi, Uzziel Jerimot og Iri, fem, Overhoveder for Fædrenehuse, dygtige Krigere; de, som var indført i deres Slægtebog, udgjorde 22034.
And, the sons of Bela, Ezbon and Uzzi and Uzziel and Jerimoth and Iri, five, chiefs of the ancestral house, heroes of great valour, —who, when they had registered themselves, were twenty-two thousand and thirty-four,

And, the sons of Becher, Zemirah and Joash and Eliezer and Elioenai and Omri, and Jeremoth and Abijah, and Anathoth, and Alemeth. All these, were sons of Becher.

And, when they had registered themselves by their generations, the chiefs of their ancestral house, the heroes of valour, were twenty thousand and two hundred.
10 Jediaels Sønner: Bilhan; Bilhans Sønner: Je'usj, Binjamin, Ehud, Kena'ana, Zetan, Tarsjisj og Ahisjahar;
And, the sons of Jediael, Bilhan, —and, the sons of Bilhan, Jeish and Benjamin and Ehud and Chenaanah, and Zethan, and Tarshish, and Ahishahah.
11 alle disse var Jediaels Sønner, Overhoveder for deres Fædrenehuse, dygtige Krigere, 17200 øvede Krigere.
All these—sons of Jediael, by ancestral chiefs, heroes of great valour, were seventeen thousand and two hundred, ready to go forth as a host to war: —
12 Og Sjuppim og Huppim var Irs Sønner, og Husjim var Ahers Sønner
Shuppim also and Huppim, sons of Ir, Hushim sons of Aher.
13 Naftalis Sønner var: Jabaziel, Guni, Jezer og Sjallum. Bilhas Sønner:
the sons of Naphtali, Jahziel and Guni, and Jezer and Shallum, sons of Bilhah.
14 Manasses Sønner, som hans aramaiske Medhustru fødte: Hun fødte Makir, Gileads Fader.
The sons of Manasseh, Asriel, whom, [his wife] bare, —his concubine, the Syrian, bare Machir the father of Gilead;
15 Gilead ægtede en Kvinde ved Navn Ma'aka; hans Søster hed Hammoleket, og hans Broder hed Zelobad; Zelofbad havde kun Døtre.
and, Machir, took a wife pertaining to Huppim and Shuppim, and, the name of his sister, was Maacah, and, the name of the second, Zelophehad, —and, Zelophehad, had, daughters.
16 Gileads Hustru Ma'aka fødte en Søn, som hun kaldte Peresj, medens hans Broder hed Sjeresj; hans Sønnervar Ulam og Rekem.
So then Maacah, wife of Machir, bare a son, and called his name Peresh, and, the name of his brother, was Sheresh, —and, his sons, were Ulam and Rakem;
17 Ulams Sønner: Bedan. Det var Sønner af Gilead, en Søn af Makir, en Søn af Manasse.
and, the sons of Ulam, Bedan. These, were the sons of Gilead, son of Machir, son of Manasseh.
18 Hans Søster Hammoleket fødte Isjhod, Abiezer og Mala.
And, his sister, Hammolecheth, bare Ishhod, and Abiezer, and Mahlah.
19 Sjemidas Sønner: Ajan, Sjekm, Likhi og Ani'am.
And, the sons of Shemida, were Ahian and Shechem, and Likhi, and Aniam.
20 Efraims Sønner: Sjutela hans Søn Bered, hans Søn Tahat, hans Søn El'ada, hans Sønahat,
And, the sons of Ephraim, Shuthelah, —and Bered his son, and Tahath his son, and Eleadah his son, and Tahath his son;

And, his daughter, was Sheerah, who built Beth-horon the nether and the upper, —and Uzzen-sheerah.
25 Hans Søn var Refa, hans Søn Resjef, hans Søn Tela, hans Søn Tahan,
And Rephah his son, and Resheph, and Telah his son, and Tahan his son, —
26 hans Søn Ladan, hans Søn Ammihud, hans Søn Elisjama,
Ladan his son, Ammihud his son, Elishama his son, —
27 hans Søn Nun, hans Søn Josua.
Non his son, Joshua his son.
28 Deres Besiddelser og Boliger var Betel med Småbyer, mod Øst Na'aran, mod Vest Gezer med Småbyer, fremdeles Sikem med Småbyer indtil Ajja med Småbyer;
And, their possessions, and their dwellings, were Bethel, and the villages thereof; and, eastward, Naaran, and, westward, Gezer, and the villages thereof, and Shechem, and the villages thereof, —as far as Aiyah, and the villages thereof; —
29 langs Manassiternes Grænse Bet-Sjean med Småbyer, Ta'anak med Småbyer, Megiddo med Småbyer og Dor med Småbyer. I dem boede Israels Søn Josefs Sønner.
and, on the sides of the sons of Manasseh, Beth-shean and the villages thereof, Taanach and the villages thereof, Megiddo and the villages thereof, Dor and the villages thereof. In these, dwelt the sons of Joseph, son of Israel.
30 A Sønner: Jimna, Jisjva, Jisjvi og Beri'a og deres Søster Sera.
The sons of Asher, Imnah, and Ishvah, and Ishvi and Beriah, —and Serah their sister.
31 Beri'as Sønner: Heber og Malkiel, som var Birzajits Fader.
And, the sons of Beriah, Heber, and Malchiel, —the same, was the father of Birzaith.
32 Heber avlede Jaflet, Sjomer, Hotam og deres Søster Sjua.
And, Heber, begat Japhlet, and Shomer, and Hotham, —and, Shua, their sister.
33 Jaflets Sønner: Pasak, Bimhal og Asjvat; det var Jaflets Sønner.
And, the sons of Japhlet, Pasach, and Bimhal, and Ashvath. These, were the sons of Japhlet.
34 Sjemers Sønner: Ahi, Roga, Hubba og Aram.
And, the sons of Shemer, Ahi, and Rohgah, Jahbah, and Aram.
35 Hans Broder Hotams Sønner: Zofa, Jimna, Sjelesj og Amal.
And, the sons of Helem, his brother, Zophah, and Imna, and Shelesh and Amal.
36 Zofas Sønner: Sua, Harnefer, Sjual, Beri, Jimra,
The sons of Zophah, Suah and Harnepher, and Shual and Beri, and Imrah, —
37 Bezer, Hod, Sjamma, Sjilsja, Jitran og Be'era.
Bezer and Hod, and Shamma and Shilshah, and Ithran and Beera.
38 Jeters Sønner: Jefunne, Pispa og Ara.
And, the sons of Jether, Jephunneh, and Pispa, and Ara.
39 Ullas Sønner: Ara, Hanniel og Rizja.
And, the sons of Ulla, Arah, and Hanniel, and Rizia.
40 Alle disse var Asers Sønner. Overhoveder for Fædrenehusene, udsøgte dygtige Krigere, Overhoveder for Øversterne. De, der var indført i Slægtebogen som brugelige til Krigstjeneste, talte 26000.
All these, were sons of Asher, chiefs of the ancestral house, choice men, heroes of great valour, chiefs of the leaders, —and, when they registered themselves, in host, for war, the number of the men, was twenty-six thousand.
