2 Samuelova 14

1 Srozuměv pak Joáb syn Sarvie, že by naklonilo se srdce královo k Absolonovi,

And he perceived Joab [the] son of Zeruiah that [the] heart of the king [was] towards Absalom.

2 Poslav do Tekoa, a povolav odtud ženy moudré, řekl jí: Medle, udělej se, jako bys zámutek měla, a oblec se, prosím, v roucho smutku, a nepomazuj se olejem, ale buď jako žena již za mnoho dní zámutek mající nad mrtvým.

And he sent Joab Tekoa towards and he took from there a woman wise and he said to her play [the] mourner please and put on please garments of mourning and may not you anoint yourself oil and you will be like a woman this days many [who has been] mourning on a dead [person].

3 I půjdeš k králi a mluviti mu budeš vedlé řeči této. A naučil ji Joáb, co by měla mluviti.

And you will go to the king and you will speak to him according to the word this and he put Joab the words in mouth her.

4 Protož mluvila žena ta Tekoitská králi, padši na tvář svou k zemi, a poklonu učinivši, řekla: Spomoz, ó králi.

And she said the woman Tekoite to the king and she fell on face her [the] ground towards and she bowed down and she said save! O king.

5 I řekl jí král: Což jest tobě? Odpověděla ona: Zajisté žena vdova jsem, a umřel mi muž můj.

And he said to her the king what? [is] to you and she said indeed [am] a woman a widow I and he has died husband my.

6 Měla pak služebnice tvá dva syny, kteříž svadili se spolu na poli, a když nebyl, kdo by je rozvadil, udeřil jeden druhého a zabil ho.

And [belonged] to maidservant your two sons and they struggled together [the] two of them in the field and there not [was] a deliverer between them and he struck him the one the one and he killed him.

7 Aj, teď povstala všecka rodina proti služebnici tvé, a řekli: Vydej toho, jenž zabil bratra svého, ať ho zabijeme za život bratra jeho, kteréhož zamordoval, nýbrž zahubíme i dědice. A tak uhasí jiskru mou, kteráž pozůstala, aby nezanechali muži mému jména a ostatku na zemi.

And there! it has risen up all the clan on maidservant your and they have said deliver up - [the] [one who] struck down brother his so we may put to death him for [the] life of brother his whom he killed and let us destroy also the heir and they will extinguish coal my which it is left to not (to establish *QK) for husband my a name and a remnant on [the] surface of the ground.

8 Tedy řekl král ženě: Navrať se do domu svého, a jáť poručím o tobě.

And he said the king to the woman go to house your and I I will command on you.

9 I odpověděla žena Tekoitská králi: Nechť jest, pane můj králi, na mne ta nepravost, a na dům otce mého, král pak a stolice jeho ať jest bez viny.

And she said the woman Tekoite to the king [be] on me O lord my the king the iniquity and on [the] house of father my and the king and throne his [be] innocent.

10 Řekl také král: Bude-li kdo mluviti co proti tobě, přiveď ho ke mně, a nedotkneť se tebe více.

And he said the king the [one who] speaks to you and you will bring him to me and not he will repeat again to touch you.

11 Tedy ona řekla: Rozpomeň se, prosím, králi, na Hospodina Boha svého, aby se nerozmnožili mstitelé krve k zhoubě a nezahladili syna mého. I odpověděl: Živť jest Hospodin, žeť nespadne vlas syna tvého na zemi.

And she said let him remember please the king Yahweh God your (from increasing *Qk) [the] avenger of blood to destroy and not they will destroy son my and he said [by] [the] life of Yahweh if it will fall one of [the] hair[s] of son your [the] ground towards.

12 K tomu řekla žena: Nechť promluví, prosím, služebnice tvá pánu svému králi slovo. Kterýžto odpověděl: Mluv.

And she said the woman let her speak please maidservant your to lord my the king a word and he said speak.

13 I řekla žena: Proč jsi tedy myslil podobnou věc proti lidu Božímu? Nebo mluví král řeč tuto jako ten, kterýž sebe vinného činí, poněvadž nechce zase povolati vyhnaného svého.

And she said the woman and why? have you planned like this on [the] people of God and because has spoken the king the word this like a guilty [person] to not to bring back the king banished [son] his.

14 Všickniť jsme zajisté nepochybně smrtelní a jako vody, kteréž rozlity jsouce po zemi, zase sebrány býti nemohou, aniž se Bůh na něčí osobu ohlédá; ovšemť i myšlení svá vynesl, aby vyhnaného nevyháněl od sebe.

For certainly we will die and [we are] like waters which are spilled [the] ground towards which not they will be gathered and not he takes away God life and he plans plans to not he will be cast out from him a banished [one].

15 Nyní pak, že jsem přišla ku pánu svému králi mluviti řeči tyto, příčina jest, že mne strašil lid. Protož řekla služebnice tvá: Budu nyní mluviti králi, snad naplní král žádost služebnice své.

And now when I have come to speak to the king lord my the word this that they have made afraid me the people and she said maidservant your let me speak please to the king perhaps he will do the king [the] word of maidservant his.

16 Neboť vyslyší král a vysvobodí služebnici svou z ruky muže, chtějícího vyhladiti mne i syna mého spolu z dědictví Božího.

For he will hear the king to deliver maidservant his from [the] hand of the man to destroy me and son my together from [the] inheritance of God.

17 Řekla také služebnice tvá: Vždyť mi bude slovo pána mého krále k odtušení; (nebo jako anděl Boží, tak jest pán můj král, když slyší dobré aneb zlé, ) a Hospodin Bůh tvůj bude s tebou.

And she said maidservant your may it become please [the] word of lord my the king rest for - like [the] angel of God [is] so lord my the king to hear good and bad and Yahweh God your may he be with you.

18 A odpovídaje král, řekl ženě: Medle, netaj přede mnou toho, nač se já tebe vzeptám. I řekla žena: Mluv, prosím, pane můj králi.

And he answered the king and he said to the woman may not please you hide from me anything which I [am] asking you and she said the woman let him speak please lord my the king.

19 Tedy řekl král: Není-liž Joáb jednatel všeho tohoto? I odpověděla žena a řekla: Jako jest živa duše tvá, pane můj králi, žeť se nelze uchýliti na pravo aneb na levo ode všeho toho, což mluvil pán můj král; nebo služebník tvůj Joáb, onť jest mi rozkázal, a on naučil služebnici tvou všechněm slovům těmto,

And he said the king ¿ [is] [the] hand of Joab with you in all this and she answered the woman and she said [by] [the] life of self your O lord my the king if there is - to go to [the] right and to go to [the] left from all that he has spoken lord my the king for servant your Joab he he commanded me and he he put in [the] mouth of maidservant your all the words these.

20 A abych tak příkladně vedla řeč tuto, způsobil to služebník tvůj Joáb. Ale pán můj moudrý jest jako anděl Boží, věda, což se koli děje na zemi.

In order to change [the] face of the matter he did servant your Joab the thing this and lord my [is] wise like [the] wisdom of [the] angel of God to know all that [is] in the land.

21 A protož řekl král Joábovi: Aj, již jsem to učinil. Jdiž tedy, přiveď mládence Absolona.

And he said the king to Joab here! please I do the thing this and go bring back the young man Absalom.

22 I padl Joáb na tvář svou k zemi, a pokloniv se, poděkoval králi, a řekl Joáb: Dnes jest poznal služebník tvůj, že jsem nalezl milost před očima tvýma, pane můj králi, poněvadž jest král naplnil žádost služebníka svého.

And he fell Joab to face his [the] ground towards and he bowed down and he blessed the king and he said Joab this day he knows servant your that I have found favor in eyes your O lord my the king that he has done the king [the] word of (servant your. *QK)

23 Tedy vstav Joáb, odšel do Gessur, a přivedl Absolona do Jeruzaléma.

And he arose Joab and he went Geshur towards and he brought Absalom Jerusalem.

24 I řekl král: Nechť se navrátí do domu svého, ale tváři mé ať nevidí. A tak navrátil se Absolon do domu svého, ale tváři královské neviděl.

And he said the king he will turn to house his and face my not he will see and he turned Absalom to house his and [the] face of the king not he saw.

25 Nebylo pak žádného muže tak krásného jako Absolon ve všem Izraeli, aby takovou chválu měl. Od paty nohy jeho až do vrchu hlavy jeho nebylo na něm poškvrny.

And like Absalom not he was a man handsome in all Israel to praise exceedingly from [the] sole of foot his and to scalp his not it was in him a blemish.

26 A když střihával vlasy hlavy své, (měl pak obyčej každého roku je střihati, protože jej obtěžovaly, i střihával je), tedy vážíval vlasy hlavy své, a bývalo jich dvě stě lotů váhy obecné.

And when shaved he head his and it was from [the] end of days - to the days when he shaved for [it was] heavy on him and he shaved it and he weighed [the] hair of head his two hundred shekels by [the] weight of the king.

27 Zrodili se pak Absolonovi tři synové a jedna dcera, jejíž jméno bylo Támar, kteráž byla žena vzezření krásného.

And they were born to Absalom three sons and a daughter one and name her [was] Tamar she she was a woman beautiful of appearance.

28 I byl Absolon v Jeruzalémě dvě létě, a tváři královské neviděl.

And he dwelt Absalom in Jerusalem two years days and [the] face of the king not he saw.

29 A protož poslal Absolon k Joábovi, chtěje ho poslati k králi. Kterýžto nechtěl přijíti k němu. I poslal ještě podruhé, a nechtěl přijíti.

And he sent Absalom to Joab to send him to the king and not he was willing to come to him and he sent again a second [time] and not he was willing to come.

30 Tedy řekl služebníkům svým: Shlédněte dědinu Joábovu vedlé pole mého, kdežto má ječmen; jděte a spalte jej. I zapálili služebníci Absolonovi dědinu tu.

And he said to servants his see [the] portion of land of Joab [is] to hand my and [belongs] to him there barley go (and set on fire it *QK) with fire and they set on fire [the] servants of Absalom the portion of land with fire.

31 A vstav Joáb, přišel k Absolonovi do domu jeho, a řekl jemu: Proč jsou služebníci tvoji zapálili dědinu mou?

And he arose Joab and he went to Absalom the house towards and he said to him why? have they set on fire servants your the portion of land which [belongs] to me with fire.

32 Odpověděl Absolon Joábovi: Aj, poslal jsem k tobě, řka: Přiď sem, a pošli tě k králi, abys řekl jemu: I proč jsem přišel z Gessur? Lépe mi bylo ještě tam zůstati. Protož nyní nechať uzřím tvář královu. Pakliť jest na mně nepravost, nechť mne rozkáže zabiti.

And he said Absalom to Joab here! I sent to you - saying come here so let me send you to the king saying why? have I come from Geshur [was] good for me still I [was] there and therefore let me see [the] face of the king and if there in me [is] iniquity and he will kill me.

33 Tedy přišel Joáb k králi a oznámil to jemu. I povolal Absolona. Kterýž přišed k králi, poklonil se na tvář svou až k zemi před ním. I políbil král Absolona.

And he went Joab to the king and he told to him and he summoned Absalom and he came to the king and he bowed down to him on face his [the] ground towards before the king and he kissed the king Absalom.
