1 ⲁ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲛⲉⲡⲛⲁⲧⲓⲕⲟⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲉⲥⲛⲏⲩ ⲛϯⲟⲩⲱϣ ⲁⲛ ⲉⲧⲣⲉⲧⲛⲣⲁⲧⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ
Now concerning spiritual things, brothers, I don’t want you to be ignorant.
2 ⲃ̅ ⲧⲉⲧⲛⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲅⲁⲣ ϫⲉ ⲛⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲟ ⲛϩⲉⲑⲛⲟⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲉⲧⲉⲧⲛⲃⲏⲕ ⲉⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩ ⲛⲛⲉⲓⲇⲱⲗⲟⲛ ⲉⲧⲉⲙⲉⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲉⲛⲧⲁⲩⲛ ⲧⲏⲩⲧⲛ ⲉϩⲣⲁⲓ ϩⲓⲱⲱⲥ
You know that when you were heathen, you were led away to those mute idols, however you might be led.
3 ⲅ̅ ⲉⲧⲃⲉ ⲡⲁⲓ ϯⲧⲁⲙⲟ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ϫⲉ ⲙⲉⲣⲉ ⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϥϣⲁϫⲉ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲁⲛⲁⲑⲉⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲙⲛϣϭⲟⲙ ⲛⲗⲁⲁⲩ ⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲡϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲡⲉ ⲓⲏⲥ ⲉⲓⲙⲏⲧⲓ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲉϥⲟⲩⲁⲁⲃ
Therefore I make known to you that no man speaking by God’s Spirit says, “Yeshua is accursed.” No one can say, “Yeshua is Lord,” but by the Holy Spirit.
4 ⲇ̅ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲉⲡⲓⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ
Now there are various kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 ⲉ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲛⲇⲓⲁⲕⲟⲛⲓⲁ ⲉⲡⲓϫⲟⲉⲓⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ
There are various kinds of service, and the same Lord.
6 ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲟⲩⲛ ϩⲉⲛⲡⲱⲣϫ ⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲏⲙⲁ ⲉⲡⲓⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓ ⲙⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲧⲏⲣϥ
There are various kinds of workings, but the same God who works all things in all.
7 ⲍ̅ ⲥⲉϯ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ϩⲙ ⲡⲟⲩⲱⲛϩ ⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲙⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ⲉⲧⲛⲟϥⲣⲉ
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the profit of all.
8 ⲏ̅ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲉⲛ ϩⲓⲧⲙ ⲡⲉⲡⲛⲁ ϣⲁⲩϯ ⲛⲁϥ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲫⲓⲁ ⲕⲉⲧ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩϣⲁϫⲉ ⲛⲥⲟⲟⲩⲛ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ
For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom, and to another the word of knowledge according to the same Spirit,
9 ⲑ̅ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲓⲥⲧⲓⲥ ϩⲙ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ
to another faith by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit,
10 ⲓ̅ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲏⲙⲁ ⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲓⲁ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲇⲓⲁⲕⲣⲓⲥⲓⲥ ⲙⲡⲛⲁ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛϩⲉⲛⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲥⲡⲉ ⲕⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲉⲣⲙⲏⲛⲓⲁ ⲛⲁⲥⲡⲉ
and to another workings of miracles, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of languages, and to another the interpretation of languages.
11 ⲓ̅ⲁ̅ ⲛⲁⲓ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲡⲓⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉⲧⲉⲛⲉⲣⲅⲓ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲉϥⲡⲱϣ ⲉϫⲙ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧϥⲟⲩⲁϣⲥ
But the one and the same Spirit produces all of these, distributing to each one separately as he desires.
12 ⲓ̅ⲃ̅ ⲛⲑⲉ ⲅⲁⲣ ⲉⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲟⲩⲛⲧϥ ϩⲁϩ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϩⲁϩ ⲛⲉ ⲟⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲡⲉ ⲧⲁⲓ ⲧⲉ ⲑⲉ ⲙⲡⲉⲭⲥ
For as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Messiah.
13 ⲓ̅ⲅ̅ ⲕⲁⲓⲅⲁⲣ ϩⲛ ⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲁⲛⲟⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲛ ⲛⲧⲁⲛⲃⲁⲡⲧⲓⲍⲉ ⲉⲩⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲓⲟⲩⲇⲁⲓ ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲟⲩⲉⲓⲉⲛⲓⲛ ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ϩⲙϩⲁⲗ ⲉⲓⲧⲉ ⲣⲙϩⲉ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲧⲁⲩⲧⲥⲟⲛ ⲧⲏⲣⲛ ⲛⲟⲩⲡⲛⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ
For in one Spirit we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all given to drink into one Spirit.
14 ⲓ̅ⲇ̅ ⲕⲁⲓⲅⲁⲣ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲛⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲁⲛ ⲡⲉ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ϩⲁϩ ⲛⲉ
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 ⲓ̅ⲉ̅ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ⲧⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲧϭⲓϫ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲉ
If the foot would say, “Because I’m not the hand, I’m not part of the body,” it is not therefore not part of the body.
16 ⲓ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲣϣⲁⲛ ⲡⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ϫⲟⲟⲥ ϫⲉ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲡⲃⲁⲗ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲛⲅ ⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲟⲩⲡⲁⲣⲁⲧⲟⲩⲧⲟ ⲛⲟⲩⲉⲃⲟⲗ ⲁⲛ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲡⲉ
If the ear would say, “Because I’m not the eye, I’m not part of the body,” it’s not therefore not part of the body.
17 ⲓ̅ⲍ̅ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲃⲁⲗ ⲉϥⲧⲱⲛ ⲡⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲧⲏⲣϥ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲙⲁⲁϫⲉ ⲉϥⲧⲱⲛ ⲡϣⲁ
If the whole body were an eye, where would the hearing be? If the whole were hearing, where would the smelling be?
18 ⲓ̅ⲏ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲥⲙⲛ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲡⲟⲩⲁ ⲙⲙⲟⲟⲩ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲕⲁⲧⲁ ⲑⲉ ⲉⲧϥⲟⲩⲁϣⲥ
But now God has set the members, each one of them, in the body, just as he desired.
19 ⲓ̅ⲑ̅ ⲉϣϫⲉ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲟⲩⲱⲧ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛⲉ ⲉϥⲧⲱⲛ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ
If they were all one member, where would the body be?
20 ⲕ̅ ⲧⲉⲛⲟⲩ ⲇⲉ ϩⲁϩ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲛⲉ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲟⲩⲁ ⲇⲉ ⲡⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ
But now they are many members, but one body.
21 ⲕ̅ⲁ̅ ⲙⲛ ϭⲟⲙ ⲇⲉ ⲙⲡⲃⲁⲗ ⲉϫⲟⲟⲥ ⲛⲧϭⲓϫ ϫⲉ ⲛϯⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲟ ⲁⲛ ⲏ ⲟⲛ ⲧⲁⲡⲉ ⲛⲛⲟⲩⲉⲣⲏⲧⲉ ϫⲉ ⲛϯⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲙⲙⲱⲧⲛ ⲁⲛ
The eye can’t tell the hand, “I have no need for you,” or again the head to the feet, “I have no need for you.”
22 ⲕ̅ⲃ̅ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲛϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲛⲧⲟϥ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲧⲉⲛⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ϫⲉ ϩⲉⲛϭⲱⲃ ⲛⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲁⲛⲁⲅⲕⲁⲓⲟⲛ ⲛⲉ
No, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be weaker are necessary.
23 ⲕ̅ⲅ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲙⲉⲉⲩⲉ ⲉⲣⲟⲟⲩ ⲛⲧⲉ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ϫⲉ ⲥⲉⲥⲏϣ ⲧⲛⲟⲩⲱϩ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲩⲉⲧⲓⲙⲏ ⲉⲛⲁⲓ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲛϣⲓⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲩ ⲙⲙⲁⲩ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲩⲉ ⲉⲩⲥⲭⲩⲙⲟⲥⲩⲛⲏ
Those parts of the body which we think to be less honourable, on those we bestow more abundant honour; and our unpresentable parts have more abundant modesty,
24 ⲕ̅ⲇ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉⲧⲛⲉⲥⲱⲟⲩ ⲛⲥⲉⲣⲭⲣⲓⲁ ⲁⲛ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲥⲩⲛⲕⲉⲣⲁ ⲙⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲉⲁϥϯ ⲛⲟⲩϩⲟⲩⲟ ⲙⲡⲉⲧϣⲁⲁⲧ
while our presentable parts have no such need. But God composed the body together, giving more abundant honour to the inferior part,
25 ⲕ̅ⲉ̅ ϫⲉⲕⲁⲥ ⲉⲛⲛⲉⲡⲱⲣϫ ϣⲱⲡⲉ ϩⲙ ⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲁⲗⲗⲁ ⲉⲣⲉⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϥⲓⲣⲟⲟⲩϣ ϩⲁ ⲛⲉⲩⲉⲣⲏⲩ
that there should be no division in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another.
26 ⲕ̅ⲋ̅ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉϣⲱⲡⲉ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϣⲱⲛⲉ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϣⲱⲛⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ ⲉⲓⲧⲁ ⲟⲩⲛ ⲟⲩⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ϫⲓⲉⲟⲟⲩ ϣⲁⲣⲉ ⲙⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲣⲁϣⲉ ⲛⲙⲙⲁϥ
When one member suffers, all the members suffer with it. When one member is honoured, all the members rejoice with it.
27 ⲕ̅ⲍ̅ ⲛⲧⲱⲧⲛ ⲇⲉ ⲛⲧⲉⲧⲛⲡⲥⲱⲙⲁ ⲙⲡⲉⲭⲥ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲛⲉϥⲙⲉⲗⲟⲥ ⲉⲕ ⲙⲉⲣⲟⲩⲥ
Now you are the body of Messiah, and members individually.
28 ⲕ̅ⲏ̅ ϩⲟⲓⲛⲉ ⲙⲉⲛ ⲁⲡⲛⲟⲩⲧⲉ ⲕⲁⲁⲩ ϩⲛ ⲧⲉⲕⲕⲗⲏⲥⲓⲁ ⲛϣⲟⲣⲡ ⲛⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲡⲙⲉϩⲥⲛⲁⲩ ⲛⲉⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲡⲙⲉϩϣⲟⲙⲛⲧ ⲛⲥⲁϩ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ϩⲉⲛϭⲟⲙ ⲙⲛⲛⲥⲱⲥ ϩⲉⲛⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥⲙⲁ ⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲟⲩϯⲧⲟⲟⲧⲟⲩ ϩⲉⲛⲣϩⲙⲙⲉ ϩⲉⲛⲅⲉⲛⲟⲥ ⲛⲁⲥⲡⲉ
God has set some in the assembly: first emissaries, second prophets, third teachers, then miracle workers, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, and various kinds of languages.
29 ⲕ̅ⲑ̅ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ⲁⲡⲟⲥⲧⲟⲗⲟⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ⲡⲣⲟⲫⲏⲧⲏⲥ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ⲥⲁϩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁⲣ ϭⲟⲙ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
Are all emissaries? Are all prophets? Are all teachers? Are all miracle workers?
30 ⲗ̅ ⲙⲏ ⲟⲩⲛⲧⲁⲩ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ⲛϩⲉⲛϩⲙⲟⲧ ⲛⲧⲁⲗϭⲟ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϣⲁϫⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ ϩⲛ ⲛⲁⲥⲡⲉ ⲙⲏ ⲉⲩⲛⲁϩⲉⲣⲙⲏⲛⲉⲩⲉ ⲧⲏⲣⲟⲩ
Do all have gifts of healings? Do all speak with various languages? Do all interpret?
31 ⲗ̅ⲁ̅ ⲕⲱϩ ⲇⲉ ⲉⲛⲉⲭⲁⲣⲓⲥⲙⲁ ⲛⲟϭ ⲁⲩⲱ ⲉⲧⲉⲓ ⲡⲉϩⲟⲩⲟ ϯⲛⲁⲧⲥⲁⲃⲱⲧⲛ ⲉⲧⲉϩⲓⲏ
But earnestly desire the best gifts. Moreover, I show a most excellent way to you.
