1 Nipele tugaleche panyuma agala majiganyo gandanda gankati Kilisito, nambo tujendelechele mmbujo mmajiganyo gagakomele ga chimbumu, ni ngaŵa kwendelechela kukunguluchila nkati kuleka sambi ni ipanganyo yaikwikanawo chiwa, ni kwachichi twakulupilile Akunnungu.
Wherefore let us cease to speak of the first principles of Christ, and press on unto perfection; not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,
of the teaching of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment. (aiōnios g166)
3 Yeleyo chitutende Akunnungu asakaga.
And this will we do, if God permit.
For as touching those who were once enlightened and tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Ghost,
and tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the age to come, (aiōn g165)
6 ŵagwililaga sooni mu sambi, ngaikomboleka kwatenda ŵelewo aleche sambi, ligongo ŵammambile pansalaba Mwana jwa Akunnungu kaaŵili kwa mele ni kuntesya soni paujo pa ŵandu.
and [then] fell away, it is impossible to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
7 Ngunda waukunyelelwa ula kaŵili kaŵili ni kumesya mimela jambone jajikwakamuchisya ŵelewo ŵalimile, ngunda wo upatile upile wa Akunnungu.
For the land which hath drunk the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them for whose sake it is also tilled, receiveth blessing from God:
8 Nambo ngunda wo wamesyaga itela ya miiŵa ni masindi, ngunda wo wangali ukamuchisyo kwa jwakulima, nombewo ukuŵandichila kulwesekwa ni Akunnungu, ni mbesi jakwe kuli kujochekwa mooto.
but if it beareth thorns and thistles, it is rejected and nigh unto a curse; whose end is to be burned.
9 Nambo ŵakunonyelwa ŵangu, namose tukuŵecheta yeleyi nkunjamuka, nganitukola lipamba ni ŵanyamwe, tukwete usyene kuti ŵanyamwe nkwete indu yambone nnope yaikutyochela mu ukulupusyo.
But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak:
10 Pakuŵa Akunnungu akulamula yaikuti pakusachilwa, ni ngakuliŵalila masengo genu ni unonyelo unlosisye kukwakwe kwa kwakamusya ŵandu ŵakwe ni mpunde kwakamusya.
for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and the love which ye shewed toward his name, in that ye ministered unto the saints, and still do minister.
11 Nambo tukulajila nnope kuti jwalijose mwa ŵanyamwe akulosye kuchalila kulakula mpaka kumbesi kuti chinkulolela cho chiŵe isyene.
And we desire that each one of you may shew the same diligence unto the fulness of hope even to the end:
12 Ngatusaka mme ŵa ulesi, nambo mwasyasye ŵelewo ŵakukulupilila ni ŵaali ni upililiu ni ŵachapochele aila yalanjile Akunnungu.
that ye be not sluggish, but imitators of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.
13 Akunnungu paŵampele che Iblahimu chilanga ŵalumbile kwa liina lyao asyene ligongo nganapagwa jwankulu jwine jwakumpunda jwele Akunnungu jwakakombwele kulumbila kwa jwelejo.
For when God made promise to Abraham, since he could swear by none greater, he sware by himself,
14 Ni ŵalanjile, “Isyene chinampe upile wakupunda ni chinampe ŵanache ŵajinji.”
saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.
15 Che Iblahimu ŵalindilile kwa upililiu, nipele ŵachipatile achila chalanjile Akunnungu.
And thus, having patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
16 Pakuŵa ŵandu pakulumbila kwa liina lya jwaali jwankulu kwapunda achinsyene, ni chilumbilo chikumalichisya makani gao gose.
For men swear by the greater: and in every dispute of theirs the oath is final for confirmation.
Wherein God, being minded to shew more abundantly unto the heirs of the promise the immutability of his counsel, interposed with an oath:
18 Nipele kwana indu iŵili yangaikukombola kugalauka, chilanga ni chilumbilo, mu yeleyo Akunnungu ngakukombola kulambusya. Nipele, uwe ŵatumbutuchile tukulimbichikwa ntima nnope, ni tukuchikamulisya kwannope chilolelo chatuŵichile paujo petu.
that by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we may have a strong encouragement, who have fled for refuge to lay hold of the hope set before us;
19 Chilolelo cho chijimi mkulimbangana ni kujigosa mitima jetu nti chitaŵililo chachikwimika ngalaŵa. Ni chilolelo cho chili salama ni chisyenesyene, chikupelenganya pa nguo ja lusasa mpaka papaswela nnope mu Nyuumba ja Akunnungu jajili kwinani.
which we have as an anchor of the soul, [a hope] both sure and stedfast and entering into that which is within the veil;
20 Che Yesu ŵalongolele kwinjila mwelemo kwa liwamba lyetuwe. Atendekwe Jwambopesi Jwankulu kwa moŵa gose pangali mbesi mpela wautite kuŵa umbopesi wa Melikisedeki. (aiōn g165)
whither as a forerunner Jesus entered for us, having become a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek. (aiōn g165)
