1 Achikapolo wose akuŵajilwa kwachimbichisya kwannope achakulu ŵao kuti akapagwa mundu jwa kwatukana Akunnungu ni kugatukana majiganyo getu.
Let as many as are servants under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and the doctrine be not blasphemed.
2 Nombe achikapolo ŵaali ni achakulu ŵao ŵakukulupilila akasaŵanyosya pakuŵa ali achalongo achinjao mwa Kilisito. Nambo akuŵajilwa kwatumichila uchenene, pakuŵa nombewo akupochela indu yambone kutyochelela mmasengo ga Ŵakilisito ŵakwanonyela. Gelego ni maloŵe gankusachilwa kujiganyikwa ni kulalichikwa.
And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but let them serve them the rather, because they that partake of the benefit are believing and beloved. These things teach and exhort.
3 Mundu jwalijose ajiganyaga majiganyo gagakupisyangana ni aga ni ngakugakunda maloŵe ga usyene ga Ambuje wetu Che Yesu Kilisito, atamuno majiganyo ga kutama nkwanonyelesya Akunnungu,
If any man teacheth a different doctrine, and consenteth not to sound words, [even] the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness;
4 jwelejo aguumbele kuligamba ni jwangachimanyilila chachili chose. Jwele ali mundu jwakusaka makani ni umenyani wa maloŵe gangalimate gagakwikanawo wiu ni ngondo ni kutukana pane tama syangalumbana,
he is puffed up, knowing nothing, but doting about questionings and disputes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,
5 ni ukangani wangali mbesi kutyochela kwa ŵandu ŵasakele mmitima jao ni ŵangali usyenesyene. Ŵakuganichisya kuti kwatumichila Akunnungu lili litala lya kulipatila chipanje.
wranglings of men corrupted in mind and bereft of the truth, supposing that godliness is a way of gain.
6 Isyene kwatumichila Akunnungu ngakukuntenda mundu aŵe jwachipanje, iŵaga mundu inkwanile indu yalinayo.
But godliness with contentment is great gain:
7 Pakuŵa nganituika ni chindu chachili chose mchilambo muno, namuno ngatutyoka ni chindu mu chilambo muno.
for we brought nothing into the world, for neither can we carry anything out;
8 Nipele iŵaga tukwete yakulya ni yakuwala, yeleyo ikutukwana.
but having food and covering we shall be therewith content.
9 Nambo ŵele ŵakusaka kusichila wo akugwa mu yakulinjikwa ni kutanjila mu chitanji cha tama syasijinji syangalumbana, syasikwautila ŵandu mu kukongoloka ni chiwa.
But they that desire to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and hurtful lusts, such as drown men in destruction and perdition.
10 Pakuŵa kujinonyela kwannope mbiya jili ndande ja ungalumbana wose. Ŵandu ŵajinji asachile kwannope akole mbiya, kwayele achilesile chikulupi ni kulipoteka mitima jao kwa kupeteka kwakukulungwa.
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil: which some reaching after have been led astray from the faith, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.
11 Nambo mmwe mundu jwa Akunnungu nlisepusye ni yeleyo, nsose kuŵa ŵambone paujo pa Akunnungu ni kutama mu utame wa kwatumichila ni iyoyo nkole chikulupi ni unonyelo ni upililiu ni kulitimalika.
But thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
12 Mmeje jwakupunda mu kumenyanila liloŵe lyambone lya chikulupi, nkakole umi wa moŵa gose pangali mbesi, uwammilanjile katema pamwajitichisye mwasyene kwakuchitanga chikulupi chenu paujo pa ŵandu ŵa umboni ŵajinji. (aiōnios g166)
Fight the good fight of the faith, lay hold on the life eternal, whereunto thou wast called, and didst confess the good confession in the sight of many witnesses. (aiōnios g166)
13 Ngunnajisya paujo pa Akunnungu ŵakuitenda indu yose iŵe yejumi ni paujo pa Yesu Kilisito uŵaŵalasile usyene paujo pa Pontio Pilato,
I charge thee in the sight of God, who quickeneth all things, and of Christ Jesus, who before Pontius Pilate witnessed the good confession;
14 kuti nlikamulichisye lilajisyo li kwa kulupilichika pangaleŵa mpaka lyuŵa litachiuja Ambuje wetu Che Yesu Kilisito.
that thou keep the commandment, without spot, without reproach, until the appearing of our Lord Jesus Christ:
15 Kuuja kwakwe chikutendekwe pa katema kakakusachilwa kakaŵichikwe ni Akunnungu. Akunnungu jwakulapikwa ni jwakulongosya ni Mwenye jwa mamwenye ni Ambuje ŵa achambuje.
which in its own times he shall shew, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords;
16 Ŵelewo pe ni ŵakukombola kutama moŵa gose pangali mbesi nombe akutama palilanguka kwanti mundu jwalijose ngapakombola kuŵandichila ni ngapagwa mundu jwawaiye kwaona ni jwakukombola kwaona. Ŵandu wose ŵachimbichisye ŵelewo nombewo alongosye moŵa gose pangali mbesi! Eloo. (aiōnios g166)
who only hath immortality, dwelling in light unapproachable; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom [be] honour and power eternal. Amen. (aiōnios g166)
17 Mwasalile ŵaali ŵachipanje mu chilambo chasambano chino kuti akalifuna, atamuno akasachiŵika chilolelo chao mu ipanje yangaikukulupilichika. Nambo ŵakulupilile Akunnungu ŵakutupa indu yose mkuchuluya kuti tukole lukondwa mu yele. (aiōn g165)
Charge them that are rich in this present world, that they be not highminded, nor have their hope set on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; (aiōn g165)
18 Mwasalile atende yambone, atende isambo yejinji yambone, aŵe ŵandu ŵakwakamusya ŵandu ŵane kwa ntima wambone ni atame chile kwagaŵila ŵandu ŵane ipanje yao.
that they do good, that they be rich in good works, that they be ready to distribute, willing to communicate;
19 Kwa kutenda yele chikunkamusye kukola chipanje mu umi waukwika yaani umi usyene mpela ila mundu jwakulikumbila indu yejinji kuti yakamusye mmoŵa gagakwika.
laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on the life which is [life] indeed.
20 Che Timoseo, choonde ngose aila imwapegwilwe. Nlisepusye ni iŵecheto ya wamba ni ukangani wangalumbana yaikuŵilanjikwa ni ŵandu ŵane, “Umanyilisi.”
O Timothy, guard that which is committed unto [thee], turning away from the profane babblings and oppositions of the knowledge which is falsely so called;
21 Pakuŵa ŵandu ŵane akuliwona akwete umanyilisi wo, ni kwakutenda yeleyo alesile kutenda yaikuŵajilwa kutendekwa mu chikulupi chao. Umbone wa Akunnungu uŵe kukwenu.
which some professing have erred concerning the faith. Grace be with you.
