詩篇 107
1 你們要稱謝耶和華，因他本為善； 他的慈愛永遠長存！
Yadah ·Extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai, for he is good, for his cheshed ·loving-kindness· endures forever.
2 願耶和華的贖民說這話， 就是他從敵人手中所救贖的，
Let the redeemed by Adonai say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the adversary,
3 從各地，從東從西， 從南從北，所招聚來的。
And gathered out of the lands, from the east and from the west, from the north and from the south.
4 他們在曠野荒地漂流， 尋不見可住的城邑，
They wandered in the wilderness in a desert way. They found no city to live in.
5 又飢又渴， 心裏發昏。
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
6 於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華； 他從他們的禍患中搭救他們，
Then they cried to Adonai in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses,
7 又領他們行走直路， 使他們往可居住的城邑。
he led them also by a straight way, that they might go to a city to live in.
8 但願人因耶和華的慈愛 和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他；
Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai for his cheshed ·loving-kindness·, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
9 因他使心裏渴慕的人得以知足， 使心裏飢餓的人得飽美物。
For he satisfies the longing soul. He fills the hungry soul with good.
10 那些坐在黑暗中、死蔭裏的人 被困苦和鐵鍊捆鎖，
Some sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron,
11 是因他們違背上帝的話語， 藐視至高者的旨意。
because they rebelled against the words of God, and condemned the counsel of haElyon [the Most High].
12 所以，他用勞苦治服他們的心； 他們仆倒，無人扶助。
Therefore he brought down their heart with labor. They fell down, and there was no one to help.
13 於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華； 他從他們的禍患中拯救他們。
Then they cried to Adonai in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
14 他從黑暗中和死蔭裏領他們出來， 折斷他們的綁索。
He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and broke away their chains.
15 但願人因耶和華的慈愛 和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他；
Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai for his cheshed ·loving-kindness·, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
16 因為他打破了銅門， 砍斷了鐵閂。
For he has broken the gates of bronze, and cut through bars of iron.
17 愚妄人因自己的過犯 和自己的罪孽便受苦楚。
Fools are afflicted because of their disobedience, and because of their iniquities.
18 他們心裏厭惡各樣的食物， 就臨近死門。
Their soul abhors all kinds of food. They draw near to the gates of death.
19 於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華； 他從他們的禍患中拯救他們。
Then they cry to Adonai in their trouble, he saves them out of their distresses.
20 他發命醫治他們， 救他們脫離死亡。
He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.
21 但願人因耶和華的慈愛 和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他。
Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai for his cheshed ·loving-kindness·, for his wonderful deeds to the children of men!
22 願他們以感謝為祭獻給他， 歡呼述說他的作為！
Let them offer the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his deeds with singing.
23 在海上坐船， 在大水中經理事務的，
Those who go down to the sea in ships, who do business in great waters;
24 他們看見耶和華的作為， 並他在深水中的奇事。
These see Adonai’s deeds, and his wonders in the deep.
25 因他一吩咐，狂風就起來， 海中的波浪也揚起。
For at his word the stormy wind arose, lifting up its towering waves.
26 他們上到天空，下到海底； 他們的心因患難便消化。
They mount up to the sky; they go down again to the depths. Their soul melts away because of trouble.
27 他們搖搖晃晃，東倒西歪，好像醉酒的人； 他們的智慧無法可施。
They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their wits’ end.
28 於是，他們在苦難中哀求耶和華， 他從他們的禍患中領出他們來。
Then they cry to Adonai in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distress.
29 他使狂風止息， 波浪就平靜。
He makes the storm a calm, so that its waves are still.
30 風息浪靜，他們便歡喜； 他就引他們到所願去的海口。
Then they are glad because it is calm, so he brings them to their desired haven.
31 但願人因耶和華的慈愛 和他向人所行的奇事都稱讚他。
Let them yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to Adonai for his cheshed ·loving-kindness·, for his wonderful deeds for the children of men!
32 願他們在民的會中尊崇他， 在長老的位上讚美他！
Let them exalt him also in the assembly of the people, and praise him in the seat of the elders.
33 他使江河變為曠野， 叫水泉變為乾渴之地，
He turns rivers into a desert, water springs into a thirsty ground,
34 使肥地變為鹼地； 這都因其間居民的罪惡。
and a fruitful land into a salt waste, for the wickedness of those who dwell in it.
35 他使曠野變為水潭， 叫旱地變為水泉。
He turns a desert into a pool of water, and a dry land into water springs.
36 他使飢餓的人住在那裏， 好建造可住的城邑，
There he makes the hungry live, that they may prepare a city to live in,
37 又種田地，栽葡萄園， 得享所出的土產。
sow fields, plant vineyards, and reap the fruits of increase.
38 他又賜福給他們，叫他們生養眾多， 也不叫他們的牲畜減少。
He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly. He does not allow their livestock to decrease.
39 他們又因暴虐、患難、愁苦， 就減少且卑下。
Again, they are diminished and bowed down through oppression, trouble, and sorrow.
40 他使君王蒙羞被辱， 使他們在荒廢無路之地漂流。
He pours contempt on princes, and causes them to wander in a trackless waste.
41 他卻將窮乏人安置在高處，脫離苦難， 使他的家屬多如羊群。
Yet he lifts the needy out of their affliction, and increases their families like a flock.
42 正直人看見就歡喜； 罪孽之輩必塞口無言。
The upright will see it, and be glad. All the wicked will shut their mouths.
43 凡有智慧的，必在這些事上留心， 也必思想耶和華的慈愛。
Whoever is wise will pay attention to these things. They will consider the cheshed ·loving-kindnesses· of Adonai.
