申命記 15
1 「每逢七年末一年，你要施行豁免。
At the end of every seven years thou shall make a release.
2 豁免的定例乃是這樣：凡債主要把所借給鄰舍的豁免了；不可向鄰舍和弟兄追討，因為耶和華的豁免年已經宣告了。
And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor shall release that which he has lent to his neighbor. He shall not exact it from his neighbor and his brother, because Jehovah's release has been proclaimed.
3 若借給外邦人，你可以向他追討；但借給你弟兄，無論是甚麼，你要鬆手豁免了。
From a foreigner thou may exact it, but whatever of thine is with thy brother, thy hand shall release.
4 你若留意聽從耶和華－你上帝的話，謹守遵行我今日所吩咐你這一切的命令，就必在你們中間沒有窮人了（在耶和華－你上帝所賜你為業的地上，耶和華必大大賜福與你。）
However there shall be no poor with thee (for Jehovah will surely bless thee in the land which Jehovah thy God gives thee for an inheritance to possess it),
if only thou diligently hearken to the voice of Jehovah thy God, to observe to do all this commandment which I command thee this day.
6 因為耶和華－你的上帝必照他所應許你的賜福與你。你必借給許多國民，卻不致向他們借貸；你必管轄許多國民，他們卻不能管轄你。
For Jehovah thy God will bless thee as he promised thee, and thou shall lend to many nations, but thou shall not borrow, and thou shall rule over many nations, but they shall not rule over thee.
7 「在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上，無論哪一座城裏，你弟兄中若有一個窮人，你不可忍着心、揝着手不幫補你窮乏的弟兄。
If there be with thee a poor man, one of thy brothers, within any of thy gates in thy land which Jehovah thy God gives thee, thou shall not harden thy heart, nor shut thy hand from thy poor brother,
8 總要向他鬆開手，照他所缺乏的借給他，補他的不足。
but thou shall surely open thy hand to him, and shall surely lend him sufficient for his need which he wants.
9 你要謹慎，不可心裏起惡念，說：『第七年的豁免年快到了』，你便惡眼看你窮乏的弟兄，甚麼都不給他，以致他因你求告耶和華，罪便歸於你了。
Beware that there not be a base thought in thy heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand, and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou give him nothing, and he cry to Jehovah against thee, and it be sin to thee.
10 你總要給他，給他的時候心裏不可愁煩；因耶和華－你的上帝必在你這一切所行的，並你手裏所辦的事上，賜福與你。
Thou shall surely give him, and thy heart shall not be grieved when thou give to him, because for this thing Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all thy work, and in all that thou put thy hand to.
11 原來那地上的窮人永不斷絕；所以我吩咐你說：『總要向你地上困苦窮乏的弟兄鬆開手。』」
For the poor will never cease out of the land. Therefore I command thee, saying, Thou shall surely open thy hand to thy brother, to thy needy, and to thy poor, in thy land.
12 「你弟兄中，若有一個希伯來男人或希伯來女人被賣給你，服事你六年，到第七年就要任他自由出去。
If thy brother, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to thee, and serves thee six years, then in the seventh year thou shall let him go free from thee.
13 你任他自由的時候，不可使他空手而去，
And when thou let him go free from thee, thou shall not let him go empty.
14 要從你羊群、禾場、酒醡之中多多地給他；耶和華－你的上帝怎樣賜福與你，你也要照樣給他。
Thou shall furnish him liberally out of thy flock, and out of thy threshing-floor, and out of thy winepress. As Jehovah thy God has blessed thee thou shall give to him.
15 要記念你在埃及地作過奴僕，耶和華－你的上帝將你救贖；因此，我今日吩咐你這件事。
And thou shall remember that thou were a bondman in the land of Egypt, and Jehovah thy God redeemed thee. Therefore I command thee this thing today.
16 他若對你說：『我不願意離開你』，是因他愛你和你的家，且因在你那裏很好，
And it shall be, if he says to thee, I will not go out from thee, because he loves thee and thy house, because he is well with thee,
17 你就要拿錐子將他的耳朵在門上刺透，他便永為你的奴僕了。你待婢女也要這樣。
then thou shall take an awl, and thrust it through his ear to the door, and he shall be thy servant forever. And also to thy maid-servant thou shall do likewise.
18 你任他自由的時候，不可以為難事，因他服事你六年，較比雇工的工價多加一倍了。耶和華－你的上帝就必在你所做的一切事上賜福與你。」
It shall not seem hard to thee when thou let him go free from thee, for he has been worth a double hired servant to thee, in serving thee six years. And Jehovah thy God will bless thee in all that thou do.
19 「你牛群羊群中頭生的，凡是公的，都要分別為聖，歸耶和華－你的上帝。牛群中頭生的，不可用牠耕地；羊群中頭生的，不可剪毛。
All the firstling males that are born of thy herd and of thy flock thou shall sanctify to Jehovah thy God. Thou shall do no work with the firstling of thy herd, nor shear the firstling of thy flock.
20 這頭生的，你和你的家屬，每年要在耶和華所選擇的地方，在耶和華－你上帝面前吃。
Thou shall eat it before Jehovah thy God year by year in the place which Jehovah shall choose, thou and thy household.
21 這頭生的若有甚麼殘疾，就如瘸腿的、瞎眼的，無論有甚麼惡殘疾，都不可獻給耶和華－你的上帝；
And if it has any blemish, as lame or blind, any ill blemish whatever, thou shall not sacrifice it to Jehovah thy God.
22 可以在你城裏吃；潔淨人與不潔淨人都可以吃，就如吃羚羊與鹿一般。
Thou shall eat it within thy gates. The unclean man and the clean man alike, as the gazelle, and as the hart.
23 只是不可吃牠的血；要倒在地上，如同倒水一樣。」
Only thou shall not eat the blood of it. Thou shall pour it out upon the ground as water.
