箴言 11
1 诡诈的天平为耶和华所憎恶； 公平的法码为他所喜悦。
A false balance [is] abomination to the LORD: but a just weight [is] his delight.
2 骄傲来，羞耻也来； 谦逊人却有智慧。
[When] pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly [is] wisdom.
3 正直人的纯正必引导自己； 奸诈人的乖僻必毁灭自己。
The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them.
4 发怒的日子资财无益； 惟有公义能救人脱离死亡。
Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
5 完全人的义必指引他的路； 但恶人必因自己的恶跌倒。
The righteousness of the perfect shall direct his way: but the wicked shall fall by his own wickedness.
6 正直人的义必拯救自己； 奸诈人必陷在自己的罪孽中。
The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them: but transgressors shall be taken in [their own] naughtiness.
7 恶人一死，他的指望必灭绝； 罪人的盼望也必灭没。
When a wicked man dieth, [his] expectation shall perish: and the hope of unjust [men] perisheth.
8 义人得脱离患难， 有恶人来代替他。
The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
9 不虔敬的人用口败坏邻舍； 义人却因知识得救。
An hypocrite with [his] mouth destroyeth his neighbour: but through knowledge shall the just be delivered.
10 义人享福，合城喜乐； 恶人灭亡，人都欢呼。
When it goeth well with the righteous, the city rejoiceth: and when the wicked perish, [there is] shouting.
11 城因正直人祝福便高举， 却因邪恶人的口就倾覆。
By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted: but it is overthrown by the mouth of the wicked.
12 藐视邻舍的，毫无智慧； 明哲人却静默不言。
He that is void of wisdom despiseth his neighbour: but a man of understanding holdeth his peace.
13 往来传舌的，泄漏密事； 心中诚实的，遮隐事情。
A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter.
14 无智谋，民就败落； 谋士多，人便安居。
Where no counsel [is], the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors [there is] safety.
15 为外人作保的，必受亏损； 恨恶击掌的，却得安稳。
He that is surety for a stranger shall smart [for it: ] and he that hateth suretiship is sure.
16 恩德的妇女得尊荣； 强暴的男子得资财。
A gracious woman retaineth honour: and strong [men] retain riches.
17 仁慈的人善待自己； 残忍的人扰害己身。
The merciful man doeth good to his own soul: but [he that is] cruel troubleth his own flesh.
18 恶人经营，得虚浮的工价； 撒义种的，得实在的果效。
The wicked worketh a deceitful work: but to him that soweth righteousness [shall be] a sure reward.
19 恒心为义的，必得生命； 追求邪恶的，必致死亡。
As righteousness [tendeth] to life: so he that pursueth evil [pursueth it] to his own death.
20 心中乖僻的，为耶和华所憎恶； 行事完全的，为他所喜悦。
They that are of a froward heart [are] abomination to the LORD: but [such as are] upright in [their] way [are] his delight.
21 恶人虽然连手，必不免受罚； 义人的后裔必得拯救。
[Though] hand [join] in hand, the wicked shall not be unpunished: but the seed of the righteous shall be delivered.
22 妇女美貌而无见识， 如同金环带在猪鼻上。
[As] a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, [so is] a fair woman which is without discretion.
23 义人的心愿尽得好处； 恶人的指望致干忿怒。
The desire of the righteous [is] only good: [but] the expectation of the wicked [is] wrath.
24 有施散的，却更增添； 有吝惜过度的，反致穷乏。
There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and [there is] that withholdeth more than is meet, but [it tendeth] to poverty.
25 好施舍的，必得丰裕； 滋润人的，必得滋润。
The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.
26 屯粮不卖的，民必咒诅他； 情愿出卖的，人必为他祝福。
He that withholdeth corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing [shall be] upon the head of him that selleth [it].
27 恳切求善的，就求得恩惠； 惟独求恶的，恶必临到他身。
He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him.
28 倚仗自己财物的，必跌倒； 义人必发旺，如青叶。
He that trusteth in his riches shall fall: but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
29 扰害己家的，必承受清风； 愚昧人必作慧心人的仆人。
He that troubleth his own house shall inherit the wind: and the fool [shall be] servant to the wise of heart.
30 义人所结的果子就是生命树； 有智慧的，必能得人。
The fruit of the righteous [is] a tree of life; and he that winneth souls [is] wise.
31 看哪，义人在世尚且受报， 何况恶人和罪人呢？
Behold, the righteous shall be recompensed in the earth: much more the wicked and the sinner.
