路加福音 5
1 有一次，耶穌站在革乃撒勒湖邊，群眾擁到祂前來要聽天主的道理。
Now it happened, while the crowd pressed on him and heard the word of God, that he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret.
2 祂看見兩隻船在湖邊停著，漁夫下了船正在洗網。
He saw two boats standing by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them, and were washing their nets.
3 祂上了其中一隻屬於西滿的船，請他把船稍為划開，離開陸地；耶穌就坐下，從船上教訓群眾。
He entered into one of the boats, which was Shimon's, and asked him to put out a little from the land. He sat down and taught the crowds from the boat.
4 一講完了，就對西滿說：「划到深處去，撒你們的網捕魚吧! 」
When he had finished speaking, he said to Shimon, "Put out into the deep, and let down your nets for a catch."
5 西滿回答說：「我們已整夜辛苦，毫無所獲；但我們要遵照你的話撒網。」
Shimon answered him, "Master, we worked all night, and took nothing; but at your word I will let down the nets."
6 他們照樣辦了，網了許多魚，網險些破裂了。
When they had done this, they caught a great multitude of fish, and their net was breaking.
7 他們遂招呼別隻船上的同伴來協助他們。他們來到，裝滿了兩隻船，以玫船也幾乎下沈。
They beckoned to their partners in the other boat, that they should come and help them. They came, and filled both boats, so that they began to sink.
8 西滿伯多祿一見這事，就跪伏在耶穌膝前說：「主，請你離開我，因為我是罪人。」
But Shimon Kipha, when he saw it, fell down at Yeshua's knees, saying, "Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, Lord."
9 西滿和同他一起的人，因為了他們所捕的魚，都驚駭起來。
For he was amazed, and all who were with him, at the catch of fish which they had caught;
10 他的夥伴，即載伯德的兒子雅各伯和若望，也一驚駭。耶穌對西滿說：「不要害怕! 從今以後，你要做捕人的漁夫!」
and so also were Yaquv and Yukhanan, sons of Zabedai, who were partners with Shimon. Yeshua said to Shimon, "Do not be afraid. From now on you will be catching people."
11 他們把船划到了岸邊，就捨棄了一切，跟隨了祂。
When they had brought their boats to land, they left everything, and followed him.
12 有一次，耶穌在一座城裏，看，有一個遍體長了癩的人，見了耶穌，就俯首至地求祂說：「主，你若願意，就能潔淨我。」
It happened, while he was in one of the cities, look, there was a man full of leprosy. When he saw Yeshua, he fell on his face, and begged him, saying, "Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean."
13 耶穌便伸手撫摸他說：「我願意，你潔淨了吧! 」癩病就立刻從他身上退去。
And he stretched out his hand, and touched him, saying, "I am willing. Be cleansed." Immediately the leprosy left him.
14 耶穌切切囑咐他不要告訴別人，並說：「但要叫司祭檢驗你，為你的潔淨，獻上梅瑟所規定的，給他們當作證據。」
And he commanded him, "Do not tell anyone, but go your way, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing according to what Mushe commanded, for a testimony to them."
15 祂的名聲更摶揚開了，遂有許多人齊集來聽教，並為自己治好病症。
But the report concerning him spread much more, and large crowds came together to hear, and to be healed of their infirmities.
16 耶穌卻退入荒野中去祈禱。
But he withdrew himself into the desert, and prayed.
17 有一天，耶穌正在施教，幾個法利賽人和法學士也在座，他們是從加利肋亞和猶太各鄉村及耶路撒冷來的；上主的德能摧迫祂治病。
It happened on one of those days, that he was teaching; and there were Pharisees and teachers of the Law sitting by, who had come out of every village of Galila, Yehuda, and Urishlim. The power of the Lord was with him to heal.
18 看，有人用床抬來一個患癱瘓症的人，設法把他抬進去，放在耶穌跟前；
And look, men brought a paralyzed man on a cot, and they sought to bring him in to lay before him.
19 但因人眾多，不得其門而入，遂上了屋頂，從瓦中間，把他連那小床繫到中間，正放在耶穌面前。
Not finding a way to bring him in because of the crowd, they went up to the housetop, and let him down through the tiles with his cot into the midst before Yeshua.
20 耶穌一見他們的信心，就說：「人啊! 你的罪赦了。」
Seeing their faith, he said, "Man, your sins are forgiven you."
21 經師和法利塞人開始忖度說：「這人是誰? 竟說褻瀆話! 除了天主一個外，誰能赦罪? 」
The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, "Who is this that speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?"
22 耶穌看透了他們的心思，就向他們說：「你們心裡忖什麼呢?
But Yeshua, perceiving their thoughts, answered them, "Why are you reasoning so in your hearts?
23 什麼比較容易? 是說：你的罪赦了，或是說：起來行走吧!
Which is easier to say, 'Your sins are forgiven you;' or to say, 'Arise and walk?'
24 但為叫你們知道人子在地上有權赦罪─便對癱子說：我給你說：起來，拿起你的小床，回家去吧!
But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins" (he said to the paralyzed man), "I tell you, arise, and take up your cot, and go to your house."
25 那人立刻在他們在面前站了起來，拿著他躺過的小床，讚頌天主，回去了。
Immediately he rose up before them, and took up that which he was laying on, and departed to his house, glorifying God.
26 眾人十分驚奇，並光榮天主，滿懷恐怖懼說：「今天我們看見了出奇的事。」
Amazement took hold on all, and they glorified God. They were filled with fear, saying, "We have seen remarkable things today."
27 此後，耶穌出去，看見一個稅吏，名叫肋未，在稅關那裡坐著，便對他說：「跟隨我吧!
After these things he went out, and saw a tax collector named Lewi sitting at the tax office, and said to him, "Follow me."
28 他便捨棄一切，起來跟隨了祂。
He left everything, and rose up and followed him.
29 肋未在自己家中擺設了盛筵，有許多稅吏和其他的人，與他們一同坐席。
Lewi made a great feast for him in his house. There was a large crowd of tax collectors and others who were reclining with them.
30 法利賽人和他們的經師就憤憤不平，對祂的門徒說：「你們為什麼同罪人和稅吏一起吃喝? 」
The Pharisees and their scribes grumbled at his disciples, saying, "Why do you eat and drink with the tax collectors and sinners?"
31 耶穌回答他們說：「不是健康的人需要醫生，而是有病的人。
Yeshua answered them, "Those who are healthy have no need for a physician, but those who are sick do.
32 我來不是召叫義人，而是召叫罪人悔改。」
I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance."
33 他們又對祂說：「若翰的門徒屢次禁食，行祈禱，法利賽人的門徒也是這樣；而你的卻又吃又喝。」
They said to him, "The disciples of Yukhanan often fast and pray, likewise also the disciples of the Pharisees, but yours eat and drink."
34 耶穌回答說：「伴郎和新郎在一起的時候，你們豈能叫他們禁食?
He said to them, "Can you make the friends of the bridegroom fast, while the bridegroom is with them?
35 但日子將要來到，當新郎從他們人疲劫去時，在那些日子他們就要禁食了。
But the days will come when the bridegroom will be taken away from them. Then they will fast in those days."
36 祂又對他們講比喻說：「沒有人從新衣服撕下一塊作補釘，補在舊衣上的；不然，新的撕破了，而且從新衣上撕下的補釘，與舊的也不相稱。
He also told a parable to them. "No one having torn a piece from a new garment puts it on an old garment, or else he will tear the new, and also the piece from the new will not match the old.
37 也沒有把新酒裝入舊皮囊的，不然，新酒要漲破舊皮囊，酒要流出來，皮囊也破了。
And no one puts new wine into old wineskins, or else the new wine will burst the skins, and it will be spilled, and the skins will be destroyed.
38 但新酒應裝入新皮囊。
But new wine must be put into fresh wineskins.
39 也沒有人喝著陳酒，願意喝新酒的，因為他說：「還是舊的好。」
No one having drunk old wine desires new, for he says, 'The old is good.'"
