路加福音 19
1 穌進了耶里哥，正進過的時候，
And [Jesus] entered and passed through Jericho.
2 有一個人，名叫匝凱，他原是稅吏長，是個富有的人。
And, behold, [there was] a man named Zacchæus, which was the chief among the publicans, and he was rich.
3 他想要看看耶穌是什麼人；但由於人多，不能看見，因為他身材短小。
And he sought to see Jesus who he was; and could not for the press, because he was little of stature.
4 於是他往前奔跑，攀上了一棵野桑樹，要看看耶穌，因為耶穌就要從那裏經過。
And he ran before, and climbed up into a sycomore tree to see him: for he was to pass that [way].
5 耶穌來到那地方，抬頭一看，對他說：「匝凱，你快下來！因為我今天必須往在你家中。」
And when Jesus came to the place, he looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchæus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house.
6 他便趕快下來，喜悅地款留耶穌。
And he made haste, and came down, and received him joyfully.
7 眾人見了，都竊竊私議說：「他竟到有罪的人那裏投宿。」
And when they saw [it], they all murmured, saying, That he was gone to be guest with a man that is a sinner.
8 匝凱站起來對主說：「主，你看，我把我一半的財物施捨給窮人；我如果欺騙過誰，我就以四倍賠償。」
And Zacchæus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore [him] fourfold.
9 耶穌對他說：「今天救恩來到了這一家，因為他也是亞巴郎之子。
And Jesus said unto him, This day is salvation come to this house, forsomuch as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 因為人子來，是為尋找及拯救迷失了的人。」
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 眾人聽這話的時候，耶穌因為已臨近耶路撒冷，而且他們都以為天主的國快要出現，遂設了一個比喻說：
And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 「有一個貴人起身到遠方去，為取得了王位再回來。
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
13 他將自己的十個僕人叫來，交給他們十個「米納」，並囑咐說：你們拿去做生意，直到我回來。
And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.
14 他本國的人，一向懷恨他，遂在他在後面派代表說：我們不願意這人為王統治我們。
But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this [man] to reign over us.
15 他得了王位來以後，便傳令將那些領了他錢的僕人給他召來，想知道每個人做生意賺了多少。
And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.
16 第一前來對他說：主，你的那個「米納」賺了十個「米納」。
Then came the first, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 主人給他說：好，善僕！你既然在小事上忠信，你要有權掌管十座城。
And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.
18 第二個前來說：主，你的那個「米納」賺了五個「米納」。
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.
19 主人也給給這人說：你也要掌管五座城。
And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.
20 另一個前來說：主，看，你那個「米納」，我收存在手巾裏。
And another came, saying, Lord, behold, [here is] thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21 我一向害怕你，因為你是一個嚴厲的人：你沒有存放的，也要提取；沒有下種的，也要收割。
For I feared thee, because thou art an austere man: thou takest up that thou layedst not down, and reapest that thou didst not sow.
22 主人向說：惡僕，我就憑你的口供定你的罪。你不是知道失是嚴厲的人，沒有存放的，也要提取；沒有下種的，也要收割的嗎﹖
And he saith unto him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, [thou] wicked servant. Thou knewest that I was an austere man, taking up that I laid not down, and reaping that I did not sow:
23 為什麼你不把失的錢存於錢莊﹖待我回來時，我可以連本帶利取出來。
Wherefore then gavest not thou my money into the bank, that at my coming I might have required mine own with usury?
24 主人便向侍立左右人說：你們他那個「米納」奪過來，給那有十個的。
And he said unto them that stood by, Take from him the pound, and give [it] to him that hath ten pounds.
25 他們向說：主，他已有十個「米納」了。
(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds.)
26 我告訴你們：凡是有的，還要給他，那沒有的，連他所有的，也要從他奪去。
For I say unto you, That unto every one which hath shall be given; and from him that hath not, even that he hath shall be taken away from him.
27 至於那些敵對我，不願意我作他們君王的人，你們把他押到這裏，在我在面前殺掉。」
But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay [them] before me.
28 耶穌說了這些話，就領頭前行，上耶路撒冷去了。
And when he had thus spoken, he went before, ascending up to Jerusalem.
29 及至臨近貝特法和伯達尼，在一座名叫橄欖那裏，耶穌派遺二個門徒說：
And it came to pass, when he was come nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called [the mount] of Olives, he sent two of his disciples,
30 「你們往對面的村莊裏去，一進村，就會看見一匹拴著的驢駒，從來沒有人騎過，把牠解開，牽來。
Saying, Go ye into the village over against [you]; in the which at your entering ye shall find a colt tied, whereon yet never man sat: loose him, and bring [him hither].
31 如果有人問你們說：你們為什麼解牠﹖你們要這樣說：主要用牠。」
And if any man ask you, Why do ye loose [him]? thus shall ye say unto him, Because the Lord hath need of him.
32 被派的人去了，所遇見的，正如對他們說過的一樣。
And they that were sent went their way, and found even as he had said unto them.
33 他們正要解驢駒的時候，驢駒的主人對他們說：「你們為什麼解這驢駒﹖」
And as they were loosing the colt, the owners thereof said unto them, Why loose ye the colt?
34 他們說：「主要用牠。」
And they said, The Lord hath need of him.
35 他們遂把驢駒牽到耶穌在跟前，把他們的外衣搭在驢駒上，扶耶穌騎上。
And they brought him to Jesus: and they cast their garments upon the colt, and they set Jesus thereon.
36 前行的時候，人們把自己的外衣舖在路上。
And as he went, they spread their clothes in the way.
37 當他們臨近橄欖山的下坡時，眾們徒為了所見過的一切奇能，都歡欣的大聲頌揚天主說：
And when he was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen;
38 「因上主之名而來的君王，應受讚頌！和平在天主，光榮於高天。」
Saying, Blessed [be] the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest.
39 人群人有幾個法利賽人對耶穌說：「師傅，責斥你的門徒罷！」
And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 耶穌回答說：「我告訴你們：這些人若不作聲，石頭就要喊叫了！」
And he answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out.
41 耶穌臨近的時候，望見京城，便哀哭她說：
And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it,
42 「恨不能在這一天，妳也知道有關妳平安的事；但這如今在妳眼中是隱藏的。
Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things [which belong] unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 的確，日子將臨於妳，妳的仇敵在妳四周築起壁壘，包圍妳，四面宭困妳；
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side,
44 又要蕩平妳，及在妳內的子民，在妳內決不留一塊石頭在另一塊石頭上，因為妳沒有認識眷顧妳的時期。」
And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.
45 耶穌進了殿院，開始把買賣人趕出去。
And he went into the temple, and began to cast out them that sold therein, and them that bought;
46 對他們說：「經上記載：我的殿宇應是祈禱之所，而你們意把它做了賊窩。」
Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
47 耶穌每天在聖殿內施教。司祭長及經師並人民的首領，設法要除掉祂，
And he taught daily in the temple. But the chief priests and the scribes and the chief of the people sought to destroy him,
48 但是尋不出什麼辨法，因為眾百姓傾心聽祂。
And could not find what they might do: for all the people were very attentive to hear him.
