路加福音 19
1 耶稣走进耶利哥城，穿城而过。
And Jesus having entred Jericho passed through the city,
2 有一个名叫撒该的税吏长，非常富有。
and behold, there was a man named Zaccheus, who was the chief publican, and very rich.
3 他想看看耶稣到底是谁，但在人群中，身材矮小的他无法看见。
And he sought to see Jesus who He was; but he could not for the croud; for he was little of stature.
4 于是他跑到前面，爬上一棵无花果树，想在耶稣经过的时候看看他的样子。
And he ran before and got up into a sycamore-tree that he might see Him; for He was to pass by that way.
5 耶稣走到这里后往上一看，对他说：“撒该，快下来，今天我要住在你家中。”
And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up and saw him, and said to him, Zaccheus, make haste and come down; for to-day I must abide at thy house.
6 撒该马上爬下来，高兴地迎接耶稣到他家去。
And he made haste and came down, and received Him with joy.
7 众人见状议论纷纷：“他竟要住在这样的罪人家中！”
And when they saw it, they all murmured, saying, He is gone to be guest with a wicked man.
8 撒该站着对主说：“主啊，你看，我正在把一半的家财分给穷人，如果我曾欺骗谁，就会四倍奉还！”
But Zaccheus stood up and said unto Jesus, Behold, Lord, the half of my substance I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any one wrongfully, I restore him fourfold.
9 耶稣说：“今天这栋房子迎来了救赎，他也是亚伯拉罕的子孙。
Then said Jesus, This day is salvation come to this house, for as much as he also is a son of Abraham.
10 因为人子来寻找和拯救的就是迷失之人。”
For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.
11 众人专心听着耶稣的话。由于这里接近耶路撒冷，加上民众都认为上帝之国即将出现，于是耶稣就讲了一个故事。
And as they listened to these things, He proceeded and spake a parable; because He was nigh to Jerusalem, and they thought that the kingdom of God would immediately be manifested.
12 他说：“从前有一个贵族，他离开家去远方接受王位加冕，然后再回到家。
He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a distant country to receive the investiture of a kingdom and then to return.
13 他叫了自己的十个仆人来，将钱平分给他们，然后说：‘你们用这钱去做投资，一直到我回来。’
And he called ten of his servants, and delivered to them ten pounds, and said, Trade with them till I come.
14 但这国家的人都憎恨他，于是派一个代表跟过去，说：‘我们不想这个人做王统治我们。’
But his citizens hated him, and sent an embassy after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.
15 贵族获得王位后返回，然后将那些拿钱投资的仆人召来，询问他们做投资的收益情况。
And when he was returned, having received the kingdom, he ordered these servants to be called to him, to whom he had delivered the money, that he might know what use each had made of it.
16 第一个仆人上前说：‘主人，你的钱已经赚了十倍。’
Then came the first and said, Lord, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.
17 国王说：‘做得好，你是个好仆人，因为你证明了在小事上很忠心，我现在派你去管理十座城。’
And he said to him, Well done, thou good servant, as thou hast been faithful in a very little, thou shalt be governor over ten cities.
18 第二个过来说：‘主人，你的钱已经赚了五倍。’
And the second came, saying, Lord, thy pound hath produced five pounds:
19 国王说：‘我派你去管理五座城。’
and he said to this likewise, Be thou also over five cities.
20 另一个仆人走进来说：‘主啊，你看，这是你的钱，现在还给你。我用布包着它，确保安全。
And another came, and said, Behold, my Lord, thy pound, which I have kept laid up in a napkin:
21 你是个严厉的人，我很害怕你。我怕你会拿走不属于你的东西，会收走你没有种下的作物。’
for I was afraid of thee, because thou art an austere man, who takest up what thou didst not lay down, and reapest what thou didst not sow.
22 国王回答：‘我要根据你这番话来审判你。你知道我很严厉，会拿走不属于我的东西，会收走我没有种下的作物。
But he said to him, Out of thy own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant, Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow;
23 那你为什么不把我的钱存入银行，等我回来的时候，就可以连本带息取回来？’
and why then didst thou not put my money into the bank, that when I came I might have received it with interest?
24 国王对身边站着的仆人说：‘把他的钱拿走，交给那赚了十倍的人。’
And he said to them that stood by, Take away the pound from him, and give it to him that hath the ten pounds.
25 侍卫说：‘但主人，他已经有了十倍的钱了。’
(And they said unto him, Lord, he hath ten pounds already: )
26 国王说：‘告诉你们吧，那些已经有的，还会有更多。没有的，现在有的也会被拿走。
for I tell you, that to every one that hath shall be given; but from him that hath not, even what he seemingly hath shall be taken away.
27 至于那些不愿意我做国王统治他们的敌人，现在把他们拉到这里来，当着我的面杀掉！’”
But those mine enemies, who would not have me to reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me.
28 耶稣讲完这个故事，就继续向前朝着耶路撒冷走去。
And when He had said these things, He went forward, going up to Jerusalem.
29 快到伯法其和伯大尼时，他来到了橄榄山，在那里叫来两名门徒，对他们说：
And when He was nigh to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount called the mount of Olives, He sent two of his disciples,
30 “你们到前面的村子去，进去后会看见有一个地方拴着一头从未有人骑过的小驴，解开它的绳子，把它牵来。
saying, Go into the opposite village, in which, at your entring, ye will find a colt tied, on which no man ever yet sat; loose him and bring him hither.
31 如果有人问为什么解开它，你们就说：‘主需要它。’”
And if any one ask you, Why do ye loose him? thus shall ye say unto him, The Lord hath need of him.
32 两名门徒出发了，后来发生的一切与耶稣所说如出一辙。
And they that were sent, went away and found it as He had told them.
33 他们解开小驴的时候，驴主人问：“你们为什么解开它？”
But as they were untying the colt, the owners of it said to them, Why do ye untie the colt?
34 他们说：“主需要它。”
and they answered, The Lord hath need of him.
35 门徒把小驴牵到耶稣那里，把自己的衣服搭在驴背上，耶稣坐在上面。
And they brought him to Jesus: and throwing their garments upon the colt they set Jesus thereon.
36 耶稣骑驴前行，众人把自己的衣服铺在路上。
And as He went along they spread their clothes under Him in the way.
37 当他走近耶路撒冷，这里也是橄榄山的下山路，门徒们因为看见了所有神迹，开始充满喜悦地大声赞美上帝。
And when He was now come near to the foot of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples rejoicing began to praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works which they had seen,
38 他们大声喊：“奉主之名前来的王，赞颂你！愿和平降临天堂，愿荣耀降临至高天堂！”
saying, Blessed be the king that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest!
39 民众中有几个法利赛人对他说：“老师，不要让你的门徒说这些！”
And some of the pharisees from among the multitude said to Him, Master, rebuke thy disciples.
40 耶稣说：“我告诉你们，他们若保持沉默，石头就要呼喊了！”
And He answered them, I tell you, that if these were silent, the very stones would cry out.
41 耶路撒冷越来越近了，耶稣看见这座城，开始为之哭泣，
And as He drew near, beholding the city, He wept over it,
42 他说：“我真希望你们——就是你们啊，在今天能知道通往平安的路，但都隐藏起来了，你们看不到。
saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at lest in this thy day, the things relating to thy peace--- but now they are hid from thine eyes.
43 时间一到，你们的仇敌就会包围过来，搭建斜坡攻击你们，把你们团团围住，困住你们，
For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast up a trench about thee, and surround thee, and keep thee in on every side,
44 他们会彻底摧毁你们，还有你们的孩子。所有的石头建筑都会轰然倒塌，因为你们在救赎到来之刻拒绝接受。”
and shall lay thee to the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another: because thou didst not regard the time of thy visitation.
45 耶稣走进神庙，赶走做买卖之人，
And He went into the temple, and cast out those that were buying and selling in it,
46 他对他们说：“经文上记着：‘我的殿将用于祷告’。你们却把它变成贼窝了。”
saying unto them, It is written, "my house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves."
47 然后他每天都在神庙里教导众人。祭司长、宗教老师和首领都想杀害他，
And He was teaching daily in the temple: but the chief priests and the scribes and the rulers of the people sought to destroy Him;
48 但又不知道如何下手，因为众人都围着他并聆听。
and could not find how to effect it: for all the people were attentive to hear Him.
