1 Thangvah na Pakai peh a, chung nungpen vah choi ding hi thil pha ahi.
A Psalm of a Song for the Sabbath-day. It is a good thing to give thanks to the Lord, and to sing praises to thy name, O thou Most High;
2 Jingkah le nami ngailut na longlou sap phong a, nilhah le nakitah na sap phong hi thil pha ahi.
to proclaim thy mercy in the morning, and thy truth by night,
3 Tumging jangsom to tho a lyre gin ngai tah to tho dia pha tah ahi.
on a psaltery of ten strings, with a song on the harp.
4 O Pakai nei bol peh thil loupitah hochun kalung lai atong kha in, natohdoh ho jehchun keiman kipa la kasan ahi.
For thou, O Lord, hast made me glad with thy work: and in the operations of thy hands will I exult.
5 O Pakai nanatohdoh hohi iti loupi hitam! nalunggel ngeito ho jong iti gil a gil jeng hitam.
How have thy works been magnified, O Lord! thy thoughts are very deep.
6 Mihem mai mai het jou hoi ahipon, chih na a lhasam hon jong hedoh jou pouvin te.
A foolish man will not know, and a senseless man will not understand this.
7 Migilou hochu hamhing bangin khangtou’un tin, thilse bolho chu pungthei jong leu, tonsot'a suhmanga umdiu ahi.
When the sinners spring up as the grass, and all the workers of iniquity have watched; [it is] that they may be utterly destroyed for ever.
8 Hinla Pakai, nangma vang, tonsot'a dopsang a naum jing ding ahi.
But thou, O Lord, art most high for ever.
9 Namel ma te jouse mangthah teidiu ahi; chule gitlou na bol jouse suh chat vai a umdiu ahi.
For, behold, thine enemies shall perish; and all the workers of iniquity shall be scattered.
10 Nangin keimahi bongchal bangin neihatdoh sahtan, chuleh nangin kipanan neimalsom tan ahi.
But my horn shall be exalted [as the horn] of a unicorn; and mine old age with rich mercy.
11 Kamit hin kagal mite lhuh amun; kana kol in jong eidou a migiloute gallel na thu ajai.
And mine eye has seen mine enemies, and mine ear shall hear the wicked that rise up against me.
12 Michonphate chu chahthing bangin khangtou untin, Lebannon a Cedar thing banga hat tah khangtoudiu ahi.
The righteous shall flourish as a palm-tree: he shall be increased as the cedar in Libanus.
13 Amahohi Pakai in a kehdoh thingphung likeh ahiuvin, Ipathen’u angsung a khangtouva ahiuve,
They that are planted in the house of the Lord shall flourish in the courts of our God.
14 Teh nung jeng a jong ga aso nalai diu; chuleh phattin’a noujingleh hatjing diu ahi.
Then shall they be increased in a fine old age; and they shall be prosperous; that they may declare
15 Amahon aphon doh uva hitia hi asei diu ahi, “Pakai chu adih jingin! Amachu kasong pi ahi! Ama a chun set na aumpoi!”
that the Lord my God is righteous, and there is no iniquity in him.
