1 Pakai, akhang khanga nangmahi kachennao in nahijenge!
Lord, you have been our dwelling place for all generations.
2 Moul le lhang ho pen masang, vannoi le leiset hi natundoh masangin, thiljoue kipat a pat ajo na chen in jong, nang ma Pathen nahijing e.
Before the mountains were born, before you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.
3 Nangin mihemhi anahina masa-a kile kitding’in nasollin leivui nalesosah kitjin ahi.
You turn man to destruction, saying, “Teshuvah ·Completely return·, you children of men.”
4 Nangdin Kum sangkhat jeng jonghi achejing tunikho bangbep ahin, jan phat chomcha tobang bou ahi.
For a thousand years in your sight are just like yester day, or a night watch.
5 Nangin twisoh bangin neilhohmang jiuvin mang sangin asot jodeh poi. Keihohi hampa jingkah langa hung pahdoh tobang bou kahiuve.
You sweep them away as they sleep. In the morning they sprout like new grass.
6 Hichu akhangdoh loijin ahinla nilhah langle agop lhajin athijitai.
In the morning it sprouts and springs up. By evening, it is withered and dry.
7 Keihohi nangma lunghannan eisumang jitauvin chuleh nalung satnan eikichatsah’un ahi.
For we are consumed in your anger. We are troubled in your wrath.
8 Nangin kachonsetnao namasangah natahlang jin ahi, aguh a kachonset nauhi nakilandoh sahjin ahi.
You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
9 Nalungsat na noi a higjing kahinkhou ahin, kakumkhou jong lungsat nan abeiloi jitai.
For all our days have passed away in your wrath. We bring our years to an end as a sigh.
10 Kei hohi kum 70 hingding bep kahiuvin, kahat tah’uleh kum 80 bep hingding kahiuve, ahinla hiche sunga chun natna le boina bou ahin; amang loiji taovin, chule keiho kaleng mang taove.
The days of our years are seventy, or even by reason of strength eighty years; yet their pride is but labor and sorrow, for it passes quickly, and we fly away.
11 Nalunghanna thahat koiham ahe thei dingah? Naging a nalungsat khohje gelkhoh a koi ham?
Who knows the power of your anger, your wrath according to the fear that is due to you?
12 Kachih theina diuvin kahinkhou chomdan hi neihetsah taovin.
So teach us to count our days, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
13 O Pakai, kaheng lam uva hung kile kit tan! Itihchan neikho ngai diu hitam?
Relent, Adonai! How long? Have compassion on your servants!
14 Jingkah seh le nalungset longlou chun kalungthim kipasah in, chutile kahinkhou lhumkei a navah choi la kasha jing diu ahi.
Satisfy us in the morning with your cheshed ·loving-kindness·, that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
15 Hesoh genthei kana thoh hou chuga kon in lunglhai na themkhat beh nei peu vin! Kakhoisat nao kumho jong kipana neisoh doh peh un.
Make us glad for as many days as you have afflicted us, for as many years as we have seen evil.
16 Nasohte hi nathilbol kidangtah hochu neimusah’un; kachilhah teuvin nathaneina loupitah chu mu uhen.
Let your work appear to your servants; your glory to their children.
17 Chuteng Pakai ka Pathen un namalsom nauchu eimu sah uhenlang katohna jouseuvah lolhinna eipetao hen. Henge, katoh gao neiso peh un.
Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us; yes, establish the work of our hands.
