< La Bu 49 >

1 Nangho mipite’n hichehi ngaijuvin! Nangho vannoi mite jouse’n ngaicheh uvin!
To him that excelleth. A Psalme committed to the sonnes of Korah. Heare this, all ye people: giue eare, all ye that dwell in the world,
2 Milen le mineo, ahao avai in ngaisoh keijun!
As well lowe as hie, both rich and poore.
3 Ajeh chu kathuseiho hi chihna thu ahin, chuleh kalung’a kagel jong hi hetgilna dimset ahi.
My mouth shall speake of wisdome, and the meditation of mine heart is of knowledge.
4 Keiman thuchih kaseiho chu giltah’in kegel’in hiti chun semjang sai a kitilkhou in thulem kaseiho suhlhap na kanei ji'e.
I will incline mine eare to a parable, and vtter my graue matter vpon the harpe.
5 Kagalmite’n eihin umkimvel’uva boinan eihin lhunkhum teng idia kakichat ding ham?
Wherefore should I feare in the euil dayes, when iniquitie shall compasse me about, as at mine heeles?
6 Amahon anei agouhou atahsan un ahaotheinau a akiletsah ui.
They trust in their goods, and boast them selues in the multitude of their riches.
7 Ahijeng vang’in athina diuva kon’in amaho le amaho akihuhdoh joupouvin Pathen henga sum in ahinkhou akichoh thei pouve.
Yet a man can by no meanes redeeme his brother: he can not giue his raunsome to God,
8 Lhatdamna kitihi bailam tah a um ahipoi, ajeh chu koiman alhingset’in apejou poi;
(So precious is the redemption of their soules, and the continuance for euer)
9 tonsot’a hingjing a lhanmun’a chelou hel nading chu.
That he may liue still for euer, and not see the graue.
10 Michingho chu nikhat thitei diu ahi, hiche mingol le lungel neilou ho banga anei agouhou chu adalhah cheh di’u ahi.
For he seeth that wise men die, and also that the ignorant and foolish perish, and leaue their riches for others.
11 Lhanmol chu atonsot in’u ahitan achen jingna di’u mun chu ahitai. Anei agouho’u chu amaho min putsah jeng leu.
Yet they thinke, their houses, and their habitations shall continue for euer, euen from generation to generation, and call their lands by their names.
12 Aminthan nao chu sotlou ding ganhing ho bang’a thithou thou di’u ahi.
But man shall not continue in honour: he is like the beastes that die.
13 Amaho hi min miching dan’in geljong leu mingol bang’a thina ato thou thou di’u ahi.
This their way vttereth their foolishnes: yet their posteritie delite in their talke. (Selah)
14 Kelngoiho bang’a lhanmun lhung thou thou di’u thina chu akelngoi chingpa’u hiding, anei agouhou a kon’a gamlatah’a lhanmun khat’a monlha thou thou diu ahi. (Sheol h7585)
Like sheepe they lie in graue: death deuoureth them, and the righteous shall haue domination ouer them in the morning: for their beautie shall consume, when they shall goe from their house to graue. (Sheol h7585)
15 Ahin keivang Pathen’in kahinkho eilhatdoh peh’in tin, Aman lhanmun’a kon’in eihuhdoh nante. (Sheol h7585)
But God shall deliuer my soule from the power of the graue: for he will receiue me. (Selah) (Sheol h7585)
16 Hijeh chun migilou ho ahung hao ua a innchen ujong ahung hoibe cheh tengu le lunglhadah hih in.
Be not thou afrayd when one is made rich, and when the glory of his house is increased.
17 Ajeh chu amaho athiteng uleh imacha akipoh di’u aumpoi anei agou’un lhan sung’ah juilut thei pouvinte.
For he shall take nothing away when he dieth, neither shall his pompe descende after him.
18 Hiche lei hinkho’a hin alolhin jeh’un vangpha le ochat um’in kigel jong leu,
For while he liued, he reioyced himselfe: and men will prayse thee, when thou makest much of thy selfe.
19 Chemasa ho bang bang’a thidiu khovah amukit louhel di’u ahitai.
He shall enter into the generation of his fathers, and they shall not liue for euer.
20 Anei agou’u kiletsahpi ho chun amaho jong ganhing bang’a phat khatleh thithou thou diu ahilam akihetdoh lou’u ahi.
Man is in honour, and vnderstandeth not: he is like to beasts that perish.
