1 O Pakai lung phatmo nan neilethuh hih in, nalunghan jeh in jong neije hih in!
A Psalme of Dauid for remembrance. O Lord, rebuke mee not in thine anger, neither chastise me in thy wrath.
2 Nathal changho kasunga akikam dentan, nakhuttum in neivo lhutan ahi.
For thine arrowes haue light vpon me, and thine hand lyeth vpon me.
3 Neilunghan khum jeh in katahsa pumpi hi anan, kachonset naho jeh in katahsa achip soh tai.
There is nothing sound in my flesh, because of thine anger: neither is there rest in my bones because of my sinne.
4 Kathepmo nan eilon khum in, agihdan poh jouhoi ahitapoi.
For mine iniquities are gone ouer mine head, and as a weightie burden they are too heauie for me.
5 Ngolhoi tah a kana chonset jeh'in, kamaha anasetan auidoh leotai.
My woundes are putrified, and corrupt because of my foolishnes.
6 Kathoh gimna hin ei kong konsah tai, lung gim tah in nilhum kei in kavah len ahi.
I am bowed, and crooked very sore: I goe mourning all the day.
7 Khosih pi kasunga meikong bangin a allin, eidammo sahtai.
For my reines are full of burning, and there is nothing sound in my flesh.
8 Keima kalhasam in kapum in kagoi lhatai. Kalungthim natna a kon in kapeng pengin ahi.
I am weakened and sore broken: I roare for the very griefe of mine heart.
9 Pakai nangin ipi kangai chat ham nahei, nangin kakhoisatna jouse najai.
Lord, I powre my whole desire before thee, and my sighing is not hid from thee.
10 Kahaina hu alhasam tan katha beitai, chule kamit in jong kho amu tapoi.
Mine heart panteth: my strength faileth me, and the light of mine eyes, euen they are not mine owne.
11 Kangailut chengle kagol kapaiten kahivei hi akichaovin eidalha taove. Ka insung mite jengjong achomin aumtaovin ahi.
My louers and my friends stand aside from my plague, and my kinsmen stand a farre off.
12 Hiche jeng a jong chun kagalmi ten kathi nading thang akam nalai uve. Kaman thahna ding toh gon anei un, nilhum keijin kathi nading agong taovin ahi.
They also, that seeke after my life, laye snares, and they that go about to do me euil, talke wicked things and imagine deceite continually.
13 Hinlah ken eikigih naho jouse chu kakijah mosah in, chuleh amasang uvah apaomo bangin thipbeh in kaumtai.
But I as a deafe man heard not, and am as a dumme man, which openeth not his mouth.
14 Imacha jahlouding kanom in chuleh donbutna jong donbutlouiding kanom e.
Thus am I as a man, that heareth not, and in whose mouth are no reproofes.
15 Ajeh chu O Pakai nangma ngah jinga uma kahi. Nangin kataona neidonbut tei ding ahi O Pakai kaPathen.
For on thee, O Lord, do I waite: thou wilt heare me, my Lord, my God.
16 Keima katao in, “kadougalte noise tah in eivetsah dan, kalhuhna a jong kitaisah dan.”
For I said, Heare me, least they reioyce ouer me: for when my foote slippeth, they extol themselues against me.
17 Keima tanglouva kathohgim na-ah akichaipai ding kahitai.
Surely I am ready to halte, and my sorow is euer before me.
18 Hinlah kachonset naho kaphong-doh in, kana kanachonna ho chu kakisih behseh jenge.
When I declare my paine, and am sory for my sinne,
19 Keiman dougal khohtah tah ho kanei e; amahon ajeh beihel in eidou ui.
Then mine enemies are aliue and are mightie, and they that hate me wrongfully are many.
20 Amahon thilpha kabol chu thilsen eilethuh un, chuleh thilpha kachepi jing jeh in eidouvun ahi.
They also, that rewarde euill for good, are mine aduersaries, because I follow goodnesse.
21 O Pakai neidalhahih in ka Pathen kei a kon in um gamla hih behin,
Forsake me not, O Lord: be not thou farre from me, my God.
22 O Pakai eihuh hingpa hungloi in lang nei kithopin.
Haste thee to helpe mee, O my Lord, my saluation.
