then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom [Red], and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward.
4 Chule na gamgi u-hin Akrabbim chesuh nalam ajui peh ding Zin aga phah a gamgi achaina lam chu Kadeshbarnea chan gei hi ding ahi. Chule Hazaraddar mun chan ajui peh ding Azmon changei a jui ding ahi.
Your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and it shall pass southward of Kadesh Barnea [Consecrated Son-inconstant]; and it shall go from there to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon.
5 Hiche gamgi hi Azmon apat Egypt vadung channa a jui peh ding, achaina hi tuikhanglen muna kilhung lut ding ahi.
The border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt [Abode of slavery], and it shall end at the sea.
6 Chule lhumlam na gamgi u-hi tuikhanglen lenpen hi a jui jing ding, twikhanglen pang hi a jui peh ding, hiche hi lhumlam gamgi’a nanei jing diu ahi tai.
“‘For the western border, you shall have the Great Sea [Mediterranean Sea, Inland Sea] and its border. This shall be your west border.
7 Sahlam gamkaija gamgi vang chu hitia hi umding ahi, Twikhanglen apat gamgi ahin juipeh ding hichu Hor molsang channa natetoh diu ahi.
“‘This shall be your north border: from the Great Sea [Mediterranean Sea, Inland Sea] you shall mark out for yourselves Mount Hor.
8 Hor molsanga pat gamgi bannei cha nahin juipeh diu Hamath channa na juilut peh diu, Zedad mun geiya gamgi nate lhung diu ahi.
From Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the border shall pass by Zedad.
9 Ajeh chu Ziphron geiya gamgi kikeh len ahin, Hazarenan muna kichai ding, hichan geichu sahlam muna nangho gamgi’a umjing ding ahiye.
Then the border shall go to Ziphron, and it shall end at Hazar Enan. This shall be your north border.
10 Solam gamgi vang chu Hazarenan apat Shepham mun channa nate lhung diu ahi.
“‘You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham.
11 Chule hiche gamgi chu Shepham apat na Ain solam gamkaiya um Riblah changei ja kilhung lut ding, chu teng agamgi chu solam Chinnereth Twikhanglen pang geiya gamgi ki lhung ding ahi.
The border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain. The border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward.
12 Chuban leh gamgi chu Jordan vadung apat ki lhungsuh peh ding Twikhanglen changeiya kilhung lha ding ahi. Gamgi tampi kilhunga avel kimsoh ding, hiche gamsunga chu nnagho nachen diu ahi, tin aheng uvah seipeh tauvin, ati.
The border shall go down to the Jordan [Descender], and end at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.’”
13 Chuin Mose’n Israel chate henga hiti hin aseijin, Pakaiyin phungko leh phung kehkhat jaona mi apeh ding ahi tia kitepna a neisa chu hiche hi nangho jouse goulo ding’a kipe na hi tauve.
Moses [Drawn out] enjoined the children of Israel [God prevails], saying, “This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Adonai has enjoined to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
14 Ajeh chu apa jang-lhah akonna Reuben chate ahin chule apa jang-lhah dungjuiya Gad chate ahiuvin, hichu Manasseh phunga konna akeh khat jeng in jong a kimu soh keija ahitai.
for the tribe of the children of Reuben [See, a son!] according to their fathers’ houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad [Good fortune] according to their fathers’ houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh [Causing to forget] have received, their inheritance.
15 Hijeh chun phungni leh phung akehkhat jao nan niso lam akon Jordan gal lam hichu Jericho khopia chu achandiu gou aga kimu doh tauvin ahi.
The two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan [Descender] at Jericho [Fragrant, Moon] eastward, toward the sunrise.”
16 Pakaiyin Mose henga hiti hin aseiyin ahi.
Adonai spoke to Moses [Drawn out], saying,
17 Nachan diu gam homtoh le’a pang ding ho chu amin u hicheng hi ahiye: Eleazer thempu, Nun chapa Joshua jaona hi ding ahi.
“These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar [Help of God] the priest, and Joshua [Salvation Yah] the son of Nun.
18 Na phung sung cheh uva konna lamkai khat cheh gam homtoh a pang ding’a na lhen dohsoh kei diu ahi.
You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
19 Na lhendoh diu chengse ho min chu hi cheng hi ahi: Juda phunggol ding in Jephunneh chapa Caleb hi ding ahi.
These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah [Praised], Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
20 Simeon chate lah akonna Ammihud chapa Shemuel pang ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Simeon [Hearing], Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
21 Benjamin phung sunga ding’a Chislon chapa Elidad hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of Benjamin [Son of right hand, Son of south], Elidad the son of Chislon.
22 Dan phung sunga konna lamkaiya ana pang Jogli chapa Bukki hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Dan [He judged] a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
23 Joseph chate Manasseh chate lamkai ja pang ding chu Ephod chapa Hanniel hi ding ahi.
Of the children of Joseph [May he add]: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh [Causing to forget] a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
24 Ephraim chate lah a lamkaija pang ding chu Shiphtan chapa Kemuel hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim [Fruit] a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
25 Zebulun chate lah a lamkaiya pang ding chu Parnach chapa Elizaphan hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun [Living together] a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
26 Issachar chate phung sunga konna lamkaiya pang ding chu Azzan chapa Paltiel hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Issachar [Hire, Reward] a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
27 Asher chate lah a lamkaiya pang ding chu Shelomi chapa Ahihud hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Asher [Happy] a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
28 Naphtali chate lah alamkaiya pang ding chu Ammihud chapa Pedahel hi ding ahi.
Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali [My wrestling] a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud.”
29 Hi tabang ahi Israel chate’n Canaan gam sung a lodiu chu Pakaiyin gam homtoh ding’a angense chu Amaho chengse hi ahiye.
These are they whom Adonai enjoined to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel [God prevails] in the land of Canaan [Humbled].
