< Minbu 18 >

1 Pakaiyin Aaron heng ah thu asei jin, nangma na hin nachapate ahin, na insung Levite chilhah hon na boncha uva Hou-in Theng sung’a boina le suhkhel jouse chung’a mo na poh diu ahi. Chuleh Thempu natoh na chung chnag’a mopoh na jouse vang nang leh na chapate chung’a bou chu ding ahi,” ati.
So the LORD said to Aaron, “You and your sons and your father’s house must bear the iniquity involving the sanctuary. And you and your sons alone must bear the iniquity involving your priesthood.
2 “Na phung chanpi Levi chate ho chu nang leh na chapate toh Houbuh sung’a ki thokhom ding in, hin pui jin lang hung un, Kitepna Thingkong maija na toh diu kin hung tong pan tauvin,” ati.
But bring with you also your brothers from the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, that they may join you and assist you and your sons before the Tent of the Testimony.
3 Ahin Levite vang chu houbuh maichama natong ache teng ule, amaho chu ching thei tah a aum uva na atoh’u a ngaije. Maicham mun theng lam ah thilkeo ho komma nailut lou ding ahi. Hiche ho chu atham khah tah uva ahile nangma na hin, na sopi ho abon na nathi soh hel diu ahi.
And they shall attend to your duties and to all the duties of the Tent; but they must not come near to the furnishings of the sanctuary or the altar, or both they and you will die.
4 Levite tia kiminsah jouse houbuh maicham semna natoh na jouse jao cheh diu ahi. Ahinlah midang vang nangma toh natong’a nakitho pi dinga pang thei lou ding ahi.
They are to join you and attend to the duties of the Tent of Meeting, doing all the work at the Tent; but no outsider may come near you.
5 Houbuh maicham kintheng sunga natong, akimang cha ding ho ahin nangman hiche thupeh jouse hi chingthei tah na jui leh Pathen lung hanna nangho Israelte chunga um kit talou ding ahi.
And you shall attend to the duties of the sanctuary and of the altar, so that wrath may not fall on the Israelites again.
6 Keima katah satah’a nangma Levite lah na natoh khompi ding Israelte ka lhen doh peh ding ahi. Amaho jouse chu nangma dia hung kipedoh diu Houbuh maicham kin theng na tong ding ahiuve.
Behold, I Myself have selected your fellow Levites from the Israelites as a gift to you, dedicated to the LORD to perform the service for the Tent of Meeting.
7 Ahin lah nangma nahin na chate jouse vang hiche kin theng maicham thempu natoh kiti jouse nanghon na tahsa tah’a na bol diu ahiye. Chuleh maicham phol sunga thil kimsel la pondal nung lam’a umjouse jong jaona ahi.
But only you and your sons shall attend to your priesthood for everything concerning the altar and what is inside the veil, and you are to perform that service. I am giving you the work of the priesthood as a gift, but any outsider who comes near the sanctuary must be put to death.”
8 Pakai thupeh jouse hi Aaron henga sei peh in hiche kinthenga Israel miten ahin toh hou chu vetup dinga ki nganse na hitai. Nangma nahin na chate ahin kin thenga hung ki tohdoh jouse hiche maichamma hohi atonsot nadia mopohna ahitai.
Then the LORD said to Aaron, “Behold, I have put you in charge of My offerings. As for all the sacred offerings of the Israelites, I have given them to you and your sons as a portion and a permanent statute.
9 Nangma maicham kinthenga thupi pentah chu mopoh na nakipe ahitai meivam min ahal lhah lou beh ding, maicham athupi pentah hiche ho chu: lou ahin mim le changa maicham chonset jeh’a chule themmo na jeh’a maicham ho hi atheng chungnung maicham kiti ding hichu nangma ahin nachatea channa ding ahi.
A portion of the most holy offerings reserved from the fire will be yours. From all the offerings they render to Me as most holy offerings, whether grain offerings or sin offerings or guilt offerings, that part belongs to you and your sons.
10 Nangman hiche maicham chu na toh ding, atheng chungnung pentah maicham jong ahin Pasal jouse anah thei cheh u ahi. Chuleh nangman hiche maicham hi atheng chung nunga na gel ding ahi.
You are to eat it as a most holy offering, and every male may eat it. You shall regard it as holy.
11 Israel miten maicham kintheng ahung kitoh jouse ka masang’a pumgo thilto hung toh jouse aboncha a nangma’a hi ding ahin, hiche ho jouse aboncha nacha numei le pasal jouse nangho tonsot gouva dinga ka peh doh ahi tai. Nangma insung mite jouse koihi tah jong leh Pathen dantheng dungjuija kisutheng jouse hiche maicham kinthenga hung kitoh doh jouse’n aneh thei cheh ding ahi.
And this is yours as well: the offering of their gifts, along with all the wave offerings of the Israelites. I have given this to you and your sons and daughters as a permanent statute. Every ceremonially clean person in your household may eat it.
12 Keiman nangma hi chavang lousoh jouse mipiten Pathen’na dia maicham ma ahin todoh jouse kapeh doh ahitai-Olive thao jouse chule lengpi tui athah chule louhing anche ga jouse chu ahi.
I give you all the freshest olive oil and all the finest new wine and grain that the Israelites give to the LORD as their firstfruits.
13 Gamsunga louga ahung lhung masa jouse mipite ho jouse aboncha nangma ding ahin, nangma insunga aki sutheng jouse hiche maichamma hung kitoh doh jouse chu anehthei ding ahi.
The firstfruits of everything in their land that they bring to the LORD will belong to you. Every ceremonially clean person in your household may eat them.
14 Israel gamsunga Pathen maicham tia hung kidoh doh jouse aboncha’a nangma nachan ding ahi.
Every devoted thing in Israel belongs to you.
15 Minu akonna ahung pengdoh masa mihem makon hihen gancha konna hijong leh Pathenna dinga hung kipeh doh jouse chu nangma ading ahi. Ahinlah nangman nacha ahung pen masa khat pentah chu nahuh doh angaiyin chule gancha atheng louva peng jouse chu nasuh theng cheh angaiye.
The firstborn of every womb, whether man or beast, that is offered to the LORD belongs to you. But you must surely redeem every firstborn son and every firstborn male of unclean animals.
16 Amaho jouse chu suhtheng in lhakhat ahung lhing tengle, hiche ho suhthengna ding mun chu sum-eng peh nga tobang ahin shekel somni tobang ahi.
You are to pay the redemption price for a month-old male according to your valuation: five shekels of silver, according to the sanctuary shekel, which is twenty gerahs.
17 Ahinlah nangman na huhdoh lou ding chu na suhtheng lou ding ho chu kelcha, kelngoi chule bongnou apeng masa pentah ho chu hiche gancha hochu Pakaiyin asuhtheng ahi tan, athisan hochu maicham thekhum inlang athao chu meiya halvam ma thilpeh giltah bang nga gim namtui tah’a Pathen’na ki tohdoh ding ahi.
But you must not redeem the firstborn of an ox, a sheep, or a goat; they are holy. You are to sprinkle their blood on the altar and burn their fat as an offering made by fire, a pleasing aroma to the LORD.
18 Hiche gancha a saphe hohi nangma na chan ding ahi. A Op-phang aje tlam saphe ho chule ahung kidom sanga Pathen’a dinga hung kikat doh jouse jaona ahi.
And their meat belongs to you, just as the breast and right thigh of the wave offering belong to you.
19 Keiman nangma kapeh nahi hiche maicham atheng dinga Israel miten Pathen henga ahin toh doh ho hi. Hiche hohi nangma dinga na chate pasal ahin numei hon atonsot’a chan nei thei dinga hiche kitepna hi Pathen le nangma kikah’a ki timatna akeh thei lou beh ding ahiye. Hichu nangma ding ahin khonung’a na chilhah te jouse ading jong ahi.
All the holy offerings that the Israelites present to the LORD I give to you and to your sons and daughters as a permanent statute. It is a permanent covenant of salt before the LORD for you and your offspring.”
20 Chuin Pathen in Aaron chu ahoulimpi tan, Israel mipite jouse masanga thempua pang ho leiset anei thei lou dingu ahi. Mipi hotoh jong nei leh gou kikop thei lou ding ahiuve keiman nanei nagou chule ijakai pijia kahi.
Then the LORD said to Aaron, “You will have no inheritance in their land, nor will you have any portion among them. I am your portion and your inheritance among the Israelites.
21 Nangma insung mite naphung chan khompi Levite chun houbuh maicham natoh ho jouse chu keima gam leiset anei khel uva Israel mipia konna gam leiset a konna hopsom kipe ding ahi.
Behold, I have given to the Levites all the tithes in Israel as an inheritance in return for the work they do, the service of the Tent of Meeting.
22 Tu apat Israel chilhah hi jeng jong leh Levi phung chule thempu tilou koima chan houbuh kom aphal thei lou ding ahi tai. Amaho chun kinai tah’a jong ahin nai lut lou ding, ahin nailut tah uva ahileh thepmo chang ding’u chule thilo ding ahiuve.
No longer may the Israelites come near to the Tent of Meeting, or they will incur guilt and die.
23 Levite chilhah hon bou houbuh muna na-atoh thei dingu, itih ham khatna boina aum leh amahon mopohna anei ding’u ahi. Hichu nangma dia a-itih a jui ding’a longlou ding dan kipe ahi.
The Levites are to perform the work of the Tent of Meeting, and they must bear their iniquity. This is a permanent statute for the generations to come. The Levites will not receive an inheritance among the Israelites.
24 Ajehchu keiman Israelte chu hopsom ka peh sah ding hichu amahon maicham thenga ahin peh dingu ahi. Hiche ho jouse hi Levite chanvou ding ahin ajeh chu Leviten gamtum achombeh a anei thei lou diu ahi.
For I have given to the Levites as their inheritance the tithe that the Israelites present to the LORD as a contribution. That is why I told them that they would not receive an inheritance among the Israelites.”
25 Pakaiyin Mose henga thu hichengse hi aseijin.
And the LORD instructed Moses,
26 Anoija thu kapeh hohi Levite seipeh in; Israel mipite hopsom todoh hochu keiman kana sei peh nanghon chan vou nasan ding uchu ahi. Hijeh’a chu Nanghon hiche alamdoh hou chu hopsom ma hopkhat apeh diu, Pakai, Pathen komma alhandoh diu, hichu maicham kintheng bol ah nangho a ding ahi.
“Speak to the Levites and tell them: ‘When you receive from the Israelites the tithe that I have given you as your inheritance, you must present part of it as an offering to the LORD—a tithe of the tithe.
27 Pakai, Pathen in hiche maicham na hin tohdoh ho chu nangma lou gasoh nato bang uva asim ding, na changphol a kivolha masa pen ahi louleh na Lengpi tui lhohlhah masapen bang’a asan ding ahi.
Your offering will be reckoned to you as grain from the threshing floor or juice from the winepress.
28 Nangman Israelte maicham theng ahin touchu hopsomma khat Pathen’a dia napeh ngai ding ahi. Hiche hi Pathnenna dinga chanvou thempu Aaron chu na peh ding ahi.
So you are to present an offering to the LORD from all the tithes you receive from the Israelites, and from these you are to give the LORD’s offering to Aaron the priest.
29 Pathen in thilpeh na peh’u nanghon jong Pakai, Pathen chu apha pentah ahoi pentah peuvin, ati.
You must present the offering due the LORD from all the best of every gift, the holiest part of it.’
30 Chule hiche thupeh najui ding akilom ho Levite seipeh tan nangman na maicham apha ahoi pentah ho na hin toh teng leh hiche ho chu nangma lousohga ahiloule nangma lengpi lei laiya bang tah anaki simpeh ding ahiye.
Therefore say to the Levites, ‘When you have presented the best part, it will be reckoned to you as the produce of the threshing floor or winepress.
31 Levite jouse nangma nahin na sopi na insung mijouse hiche na ankong hi hoi kom hijong leh naneh thei cheh diu ahi. Ajeh chu Pathen houbuh maicham na natoh jeh uva ahi.
And you and your households may eat the rest of it anywhere; it is the compensation for your work at the Tent of Meeting.
32 Thempu hohi apha pentah ahoi pentah napeh leh Pathen na ding nga hopsom ma hung kitoh chu naneh chun themmo nachan lou ding ahi. Ahinlah nangma chingtheiyin Israel miten thil theng tah ahin todoh hou chu imacha theng lou tah in geldan imacha na geldah khah le na thi lo jeng thei ahiye.
Once you have presented the best part of it, you will not incur guilt because of it. But you must not defile the sacred offerings of the Israelites, or else you will die.’”
