“The rest of the people—the priests, Levites, gatekeepers, singers, temple servants, and all who had separated themselves from the people of the land to obey the Law of God—along with their wives and all their sons and daughters who are able to understand,
29 Alamkaiteu nung ajui jun ahi, jeh chu Pathenin Mose mangcha a ahinpeh Pathen daan chu juidingin akihahsel’un, chule asuhkeh’uva ahileh gaosap na chang dingin akitepmun ahi. I Pakaiyu thupeh ho chonna ho le kigah na ho chu phate keicha juidingin giltah in kitepna aneiyun ahi.
hereby join with their noble brothers and commit themselves with a sworn oath to follow the Law of God given through His servant Moses and to carefully obey all the commandments, ordinances, and statutes of the LORD our Lord.
30 “Hitihin keihon agamsung mi hounei lou ho dinga kachanu teu kapeh loudiu chujongle kachapateu vin jong amaho chanute jong akichenpi loudiuvin kitepna kaneiyuve.”
We will not give our daughters in marriage to the people of the land, and we will not take their daughters for our sons.
31 “Chule keihon agamsunga chengte cholngah ni ahilou le nikhotheng dang nia kiveina thil ho ahilouleh changle mim ho ahung joh’u jong choh peh lou dingin kaki tep’un ahi. Chujongle kum sagi alhin seh le kagamsungu kaki choldo sah diu, chule eibat hou jouse kangaidam dingu ahi.”
When the people of the land bring merchandise or any kind of grain to sell on the Sabbath day, we will not buy from them on a Sabbath or holy day. Every seventh year we will let the fields lie fallow, and will cancel every debt.
32 “Chutengle ka Pathen’u houin kin bol na a mandin kumseh a shekel khat hop thum'a hop khat kapeh jingna diuvin keiho le keiho kacham chamun kakigah jinguvin ahi.”
We also place ourselves under the obligation to contribute a third of a shekel yearly for the service of the house of our God:
33 “Vetsahnan changlhah toding ahin, tantih neilouva lhosoh thilto ding ahin, cholngah nikho nitding hihen lang, lhathah nikho kut bolding hijongle aphat tepsa kut ho nit ding jong, chule thil theng todoh ding jong, Israel chate kithoina dinga chonset jeh a thilto ding ho jong, chujongle ka Pathen’u houin natohna dinga manchah ding jouse kapeh diuvin kakitem tauve.”
for the showbread, for the regular grain offerings and burnt offerings, for the Sabbath offerings, for the New Moons and appointed feasts, for the holy offerings, for the sin offerings to make atonement for Israel, and for all the duties of the house of our God.
34 “Hitobang chun ti ding thing toh'a pang ding in jong keihon thempu ho pang ding hihen lang, Levite pang ding hileh, mipi pang dinga lom hijongle phun kisan’uvin, chule athing tithei chu ka Pathen’u houin sunga poh lutna, kapu kapateu insung kailhah dola kitol a kum simseh leh aphat kitep phat phatna poh lut ding dan thu lekhabua kisun banga Pakai ka Pathen’u maicham chunga ti dingin kagouvin ahi.”
We have cast lots among the priests, Levites, and people for the donation of wood by our families at the appointed times each year. They are to bring it to the house of our God to burn on the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the Law.
35 “Chujongle keiho le keiho kacham cham’uvin kigahna kaki bol’uvin, kaleiset lhosohu amasa pen le thing gathei namkim aboncha agamasa chengse hi kumseh le Pakai houin a todoh masah jing ding katiu ahi.”
We will also bring the firstfruits of our land and of every fruit tree to the house of the LORD year by year.
36 “Chujongleh ka-Pathen’u insunga lha a pang thempupa henga chun kachateu apeng masa hihen lang, kagancha apeng masa ho lah hijongleh danthu lekhabua kisun banga chu kabongu peng masa jouse leh kakelngoiyu apeng masa kahin pui cheh dingu katiu ahitai.”
And we will bring the firstborn of our sons and our livestock, as it is written in the Law, and will bring the firstborn of our herds and flocks to the house of our God, to the priests who minister in the house of our God.
37 “Chutengle thempu ho hengle ka-Pathen’u indan sung dunga chu kaneh diu an kithuh masapen leh kathil todiu jong, thing gathei jouse ga jong lengpi twi le thaotwi jong hinchoi lut ding katiu ahi; hitobang ahi kalho gao kalousohu Levite henga hopsom hinchoi peh ding katiu ahi, ajehchu kakho dung jouseova hopsom donga pangji chu Levite bou ahiuve.”
Moreover, we will bring to the priests at the storerooms of the house of our God the firstfruits of our dough, of our grain offerings, of the fruit of all our trees, and of our new wine and oil. A tenth of our produce belongs to the Levites, so that they shall receive tithes in all the towns where we labor.
38 “Hichea hi Aaron chapa thempupa chu Leviten hopsom akisan ding tenguleh akom uva umjing ding amaho toh kilhon ding ahi; chule Levi miho chun hopsom jousea konna hopsom kibolson chu ka-Pathen’u houin sung, insung dansunga thil kholna mun dunga ahinpoh lutdiu ahiye.”
A priest of Aaron’s line is to accompany the Levites when they collect the tenth, and the Levites are to bring a tenth of these tithes to the storerooms of the treasury in the house of our God.
39 “Ijeh-inem itileh Israel chate leh Levi chaten chang kidong doh hole lengpi twi kidong doh ho thaotwi kidong doh ho chu ahin pohuva houin dansung dung, munthenga manchah ding khon ho kikoina mun kinbol la pang thempu ho hengleh kelkot ngah a pangho heng, lasa ho henga ahinpoh lutdiu ahi. Chule keihon ka-Pathen’u houin chu donlouva kakoi kit louhel diu ahi.”
For the Israelites and the Levites are to bring the contributions of grain, new wine, and oil to the storerooms where the articles of the sanctuary are kept and where the ministering priests, the gatekeepers, and the singers stay. Thus we will not neglect the house of our God.”
