< Matthew 13 >

1 Chujouvin hiche ni chun Yeshuan in chu adalhan chule dillen pama chun atouvin ahi.
On that day Yeshua went out of the house and sat by the seaside.
2 Mihonpi akimvela aki khom un, hiti chun ama kong khat a alut e. Chuche muna chun atouvin chule mihonpi vapama umho chu thu ahil tai.
Great multitudes gathered to him, so that he entered into a boat and sat; and all the multitude stood on the beach.
3 Aman thulem tampi mangchan amaho chu thusim tampi ahil in, hiche thusim hi aseiye: “Ngaiyun! Loubol mi khat muchi the ding in aga potdoh e.
He spoke to them many things in parables, saying, “Behold, a farmer went out to sow.
4 Chule aman muchi chu loulaiya athea ahileh, muchi phabep chu lampia a-chu in ahileh vacha ho ahung un anejou tauve.
As he sowed, some seeds fell by the roadside, and the birds came and devoured them.
5 Muchi dang phabep chu songlheu chung lei patna a achutai. Lei apat jeh chun muchi chu ahung kehdoh loichel in ahi.
Others fell on rocky ground, where they didn’t have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, because they had no depth of earth.
6 Hinlah nisa ahung satan ahileh, leiset achu ajung alut thuh lou jeh in asang gop pai jeng in ahi.
When the sun had risen, they were scorched. Because they had no root, they withered away.
7 Muchi dang phabep ma chu ling lah a a-chu in ling chu akhang in chule chang phung dong nalai chu adep lihtai.
Others fell amongst thorns. The thorns grew up and choked them.
8 Hinlah muchi adang chengse vang leiphatna a a-chu in chule hiche ho chu ajat som thum, ajat somgup chule ajat jakhat chan geiyin apung uvin ahi.
Others fell on good soil and yielded fruit: some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.
9 Khojahna ding nakol nei ami chang cheh in angaiya chule ahetkhen angaiye,” ati.
He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
10 Aseijuite ahung un chule adong uvin, “Iti dana nangman miho thu nahil tengleh thulem naseiji ham?” atiuve.
The disciples came, and said to him, “Why do you speak to them in parables?”
11 Aman adonbut in, “Nangho hi van Lenggam thuguh hettheina kipea nahi tauve, hinlah amaho kipe lou ahiuve.
He answered them, “To you it is given to know the mysteries of the Kingdom of Heaven, but it is not given to them.
12 Ka thuhil ngai ho chu hetkhen na kipeh be ding chule amahon hetna bulhingset anei diu ahi. Hinlah ka thuhil ngaisah lou ho chu hetna phabep aneiyu jong chu kilah mangpeh nalai diu ahi.
For whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever doesn’t have, from him will be taken away even that which he has.
13 Hijeh chun hiche thulem ho hi Kaman chah ahi. Ajeh chu amahon avet vang uva amu tahbeh lou ding u, ajah uva ahivanga angaiyu chu hetdohna tahbeh neilou ding ahiuve.”
Therefore I speak to them in parables, because seeing they don’t see, and hearing, they don’t hear, neither do they understand.
14 Hiche hi Isaiah themgao thusei, “Ipi kasei najah tenguleh hetkhenna nanei thei lou diu ahi. Ka thilbol namu tenguleh, geldohna nanei thei lou dingu ahi.
In them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says, ‘By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand; Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive;
15 Ajeh chu hiche mite hi alung gelu atah cheh in, chule akol'uva khojahna aumpoi chule amahon amit asing uvin, amit un kho amu tapon, chule ana koluvin kho ajapon, chule alung un hetkhenna aneipon, chule keiman kasuhdam theina ding in ka heng lama ahung kihei pouve.”
for this people’s heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, and they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and would turn again, and I would heal them.’
16 “Hinlah namit teni uvin amu jeh un, namit-u mitvang pha ahi chule nana kolte niuvin ajah jeh un, nakol vangpha ahi.
“But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear.
17 Thu tahbeh ka seipeh nahiuve, themgao tamtah le mi chonpha tamtah'in namu uhi amu nomun, hinlah amu pouve. Chule thu najah chengseu hi ajah nomun, hinlah ajah lou-u ahitai.”
For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn’t see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn’t hear them.
18 “Tuhin lou bolpa chun amuchi the ahil chetna ngaiyuvin.
“Hear, then, the parable of the farmer.
19 Lampia chu-ah muchin avetsah chu Lenggam thu kihil ja'a, ahivanga hechen lou ho ahiuve. Chujouvin agi loupa chu ahung in chule alung sung uva kitulut muchi chu ahung lamang jitai.
When anyone hears the word of the Kingdom and doesn’t understand it, the evil one comes and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart. This is what was sown by the roadside.
20 Songlheu chunga chua muchi hin thu kisei chu ngaiya chule apet petna kipah tah a sanga mitoh tekah thei ahi.
What was sown on the rocky places, this is he who hears the word and immediately with joy receives it;
21 Hinlah ajung athuh loujeh in ahingsot tapoi. Amaho chun hahsatna ato tenguleh ahilouleh Pathen Thu jeh a gim bolna ato tenguleh alhamang ji tauve.
yet he has no root in himself, but endures for a while. When oppression or persecution arises because of the word, immediately he stumbles.
22 Muchi ling lah a chu ho chu Pathen Thu ja a ahia tu hinlai vannoi lung gimna ho leh, haona ngaichatna ho jeh in gaso louvin aum jitai. (aiōn g165)
What was sown amongst the thorns, this is he who hears the word, but the cares of this age and the deceitfulness of riches choke the word, and he becomes unfruitful. (aiōn g165)
23 Muchi lei phatna a chuho vang thu chu atahbeh a ja a chule hetchetna nei ahiuvin, chule amaho chun ajat som thum, ajat som gup chule ajat jakhat ahin sodoh e!” ati.
What was sown on the good ground, this is he who hears the word and understands it, who most certainly bears fruit and produces, some one hundred times as much, some sixty, and some thirty.”
24 Yeshuan thusim jatchom khat hichea hin aseiye: “Van gam chu loubol mi khat in alouva muchi pha athea toh tekah thei ahi.
He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field,
25 Hinlah chuche jan chun natong ho aihmut pat un, melmapa chu ahung in chuin changtah lah a chun changlhem ahung then, ache mangtai.
but while people slept, his enemy came and sowed darnel weeds also amongst the wheat, and went away.
26 Changphung ahung khanlhit phat in, aga jong ahung um'in chule changlhem jong chu ahung khang len in ahi.
But when the blade sprang up and produced grain, then the darnel weeds appeared also.
27 Loubolpa natong ho akoma agache uvin, chuin ajah a, ‘Hepu louva muchipha nathe na'a khun changlhem akeh dimset in, hoiya kon iti hung um hintem?’ atiuve.
The servants of the householder came and said to him, ‘Sir, didn’t you sow good seed in your field? Where did these darnel weeds come from?’
28 ‘Melma khat'in abol hichu’ tin loubolpa chun ahin phongdoh tai. ‘Changlhem ho kaga bodoh dingu ham?’ tin adong uve.
“He said to them, ‘An enemy has done this.’ “The servants asked him, ‘Do you want us to go and gather them up?’
29 “Ahipoi, chutia nabol uleh changtah bodoh tha get nuvin nate.
“But he said, ‘No, lest perhaps while you gather up the darnel weeds, you root up the wheat with them.
30 A at phat lhin kah in khantha jengu hen. Chuteng keiman chang at ho jah'a changlhem chu lhengdoh unlang, kan khomun chule meiya halvam un, chule changtah chu changkul'a khum uvin tina nge” ati.
Let both grow together until the harvest, and in the harvest time I will tell the reapers, “First, gather up the darnel weeds, and bind them in bundles to burn them; but gather the wheat into my barn.”’”
31 Hichea hin vetsahna chomkhat Yeshuan amange: “Van Lenggam chu ankam mu louva kithe tobang ahi.
He set another parable before them, saying, “The Kingdom of Heaven is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took, and sowed in his field,
32 Muchi jouse lah a aneopen ahi, hinlah hon a kitu lah a aphung lenpen ahung hitan, ahungkhang len in, thingphung ahung kisoh in, chule vacha ho ahungun chuin abah hoa abu akiset uvin ahi,” ati.
which indeed is smaller than all seeds. But when it is grown, it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in its branches.”
33 Yeshuan hiche thulem jong hi aseiyin: “Van gam hi numei khat'in changlhah semna dinga chol aman tobang ahi. Ama hin chol neocha chu chang bong tetohna thum'a akoi jeng vang'in, changbong chu apumpin apomsah soh hel in ahi.” ati.
He spoke another parable to them. “The Kingdom of Heaven is like yeast which a woman took and hid in three measures of meal, until it was all leavened.”
34 Yeshuan mihonpi lah a thu aseina'a thusimle thulem hitobang ho hi amangcha jing in ahi. Ahimong in hitobang thulem mang cha louvin amaho koma thu asei jipoi.
Yeshua spoke all these things in parables to the multitudes; and without a parable, he didn’t speak to them,
35 Hiche hi Pathen in Themgao kam'a anaseisa: “Keiman nakom uva thulema kaseiding, Keiman vannoi kisem kipat apat thuguh kisel kahilchet peh ding ahi,” ti aguilhunna ahi.
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through the prophet, saying, “I will open my mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden from the foundation of the world.”
36 Chuin mihonpi chu polama adalhan, Yeshua chu insung agalut in ahileh aseijuiten, “Changlhem loulaiya um thulem chu nei hilchet peh un,” atiuve.
Then Yeshua sent the multitudes away, and went into the house. His disciples came to him, saying, “Explain to us the parable of the darnel weeds of the field.”
37 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Loubolpa, muchipha the a-chu Mihem Chapa ahi.
He answered them, “He who sows the good seed is the Son of Man,
38 Lou chu vannoi leiset ahi, chule muchipha chu Lenggam mite ahiuve. Changlhem chu agiloupa mite ho ahiuve.
the field is the world, the good seeds are the children of the Kingdom, and the darnel weeds are the children of the evil one.
39 Melma changlhem changtah lah a thepa chu Diabol ahi. Chang at phat chu vannoi kichaina phat ahi, chule chang at ho chu Vantilte ho ahiuve.” (aiōn g165)
The enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels. (aiōn g165)
40 “Changlhem ho lhendoh a aum'uva chule meiya akigo banga chu, vannoi kichaini jongleh chuti ding ahi. (aiōn g165)
As therefore the darnel weeds are gathered up and burnt with fire; so will it be at the end of this age. (aiōn g165)
41 Mihem Chapa chun a-Vantilte ahinsol ding, chule amaho chun Lenggama kon chonset hin umdohsah ho le thilse bol jouse asuhmang dingu ahi.
The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will gather out of his Kingdom all things that cause stumbling and those who do iniquity,
42 Chule Vantil ho chun amaho chu meikou jejua chu alelut dingu, hichea chu kana chule hagelna umding ahi.
and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
43 Chuteng michonpha ho chengse a Pau Lenggam sunga nisa tobanga vahding ahiuve. Thungaina ding nakol neiya chun ngaiyu hen chule heuhen!”
Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the Kingdom of their Father. He who has ears to hear, let him hear.
44 “Van'a Lenggam chu mi khat in loulaiya gou kiselguh amudoh tobang ahi. Kipah thanom pum'in aselkit'in chule anei jouse chu ajoh doh in asumnei sun chun lou chu achotai.”
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid. In his joy, he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.
45 “Chujongleh Van'a Lenggam chu kivei mi khat in twikoh chang manlutah ahol tobang ahi.
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a merchant seeking fine pearls,
46 Aman twikoh chang man lutah chu amudoh phat in anei jouse ajoh doh in, chule lou chu achotai.”
who having found one pearl of great price, he went and sold all that he had and bought it.
47 “Chule Van'a Lenggam chu nga matna len twi lah'a kiseplha a chule nga jouse man tobang ahi.
“Again, the Kingdom of Heaven is like a dragnet that was cast into the sea and gathered some fish of every kind,
48 Len chu adimset phat in, hichu vapama aloidoh uvin, atou khomun chule nga aphaho chu aboma akoiyun, hinlah aphalou ho chu apai mang tauve.
which, when it was filled, fishermen drew up on the beach. They sat down and gathered the good into containers, but the bad they threw away.
49 Vannoi kichaini jongleh chuti ding ahi. Vantil ho hunguvin tin michonpha hoa konna mi gilou ho ahin chom khendoh dingu ahi. (aiōn g165)
So it will be in the end of the world. The angels will come and separate the wicked from amongst the righteous, (aiōn g165)
50 Miphalou ho chu mei deujeju sunga chun lehlut uvintin, hichea chu kana le hagelna umding ahi.”
and will cast them into the furnace of fire. There will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
51 Hiche hohi aboncha nahet nah uvem? atileh amahon “Henge,” atiuve.
Yeshua said to them, “Have you understood all these things?” They answered him, “Yes, Lord.”
52 Chujouvin aman aseiben, “Van'a Lenggama Hou thuhila pang seijui hung hi ho hi, in neipan aneikholna muna kona Thutah gou alui le athah ahin pohdoh tobang ahi,” ati.
He said to them, “Therefore every scribe who has been made a disciple in the Kingdom of Heaven is like a man who is a householder, who brings out of his treasure new and old things.”
53 Hiche thusimho le vetsahna ho ahil jouvin, aman chuche gam chu adalhan,
When Yeshua had finished these parables, he departed from there.
54 Achenna khopi Nazareth lama ahung kiletai. Aman amaho hou kikhopna in'a thu ahil pet'in amitakip in adatmo uvin chule aseiyun, “Hoiya kona hiche chihna le thil kidang boltheina hoiya thaneina akilah ahidem?” tin asei-uve.
Coming into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, “Where did this man get this wisdom and these mighty works?
55 Amahon anoisebol uvin, “Ama thing thembol chapa ahi, anu Mary le asopi pasal ho—James, Joseph, Simon le Judah abonun ihecheh uve.
Isn’t this the carpenter’s son? Isn’t his mother called Miriam, and his brothers Jacob, Yosi, Simon, and Judah?
56 Asopi numeiho jouse jong ilah uva aumcheh uvin. Hiche ho jouse hi hoiya kona akihetdoh hintem?” atiuvin ahi.
Aren’t all of his sisters with us? Where then did this man get all of these things?”
57 Chuin amaho chu hatah in alung-lhalheh uvin, chule Ama atahsan nomta pouve. Chuphat in Yeshuan amaho aseipeh in, “Themgao chu ama insung le akhopia mite lah tilouvin mun jousea jabolna achange,” ati.
They were offended by him. But Yeshua said to them, “A prophet is not without honour, except in his own country and in his own house.”
58 Chuin amahon atahsan lou jeh uvin thil kidang themkhat bou aboltai.
He didn’t do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
