< Luke 10 >

1 Tun Pakai in seijui adang mi somsagi le ni alhengdoh in amaho chu akop kop'in khotin le muntin vilding agot naho ah asol in ahi.
After this, the Lord appointed seventy others and sent them on ahead, two by two, to every town and place where he himself was about to go.
2 Hiche ho cheng hi amaho ahilchahna ahi: “Lousoh ga khoptup ding atam, ahin natong ho alhome. Hijeh chun Pakai hengah taovun amachu ga chomtup dia mopo ahi; alouva natong ding mi ahin solbe nadin thum'un.”
He said to them, “The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Therefore ask the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into his harvest.
3 Tun cheuvin, chuleh geldoh jingun keiman si-al lah'a kelngoi kisol tobanga kasol nahiuve.
Now go on your way. Behold, I am sending you out like lambs in the midst of wolves.
4 Sum le pai ima kipoh hih'un, sakhao jong kipoh hih'un, kengchot akop'in jong pohih un. Chuleh lampi dungah khattou lem dingin kingapa hih'un.
Carry no moneybag, no knapsack, and no sandals; and do not greet anyone on the road.
5 Khattou in'a nalut teng uleh, amasan “Pathen lungmonna hiche in'a hin umhen” tin asauvin.
Whenever you enter a house, first say, ‘May peace be upon this house!’
6 Hichea cheng ho chu alungmon uleh, phattheina chu umden ding; achutilou uleh, phattheina chu nahenguva hung kile ding ahi.
If there is a son of peace there, your peace will rest upon him. But if not, it will return to you.
7 In khat'a kon inkhat ah vahle hih'un. Munkhat bou ah um unlang, amahon napeh peh uchu neuvin chule don'un. Min phatah a najen nau sanding kiphalam hih'un, ajehchu anatong chun alosan amuding mong ahi.
Remain in the same house, eating and drinking whatever they provide, for the worker is worthy of his wages. Do not go from house to house.
8 “Khopi khat a nalut uva nasan uleh, namasanga ahin luidoh doh uchu neuvin.”
Whenever you enter a town and they receive you, eat what is set before you.
9 Adamlou sudam'un lang seipeh'un, “Pathen Lenggam chu tun nakom uva aumtai” tiuvin.
Heal the sick in that city and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.’
10 Ahin khopi khattou in nasan dauleh, alampiu dunga chun chedoh unlang seiyun,
But whenever you enter a town and they do not receive you, go out into its streets and say,
11 Nakhopiu sunga vutkhu ho geiyin kakenguva kon'in kathing lhauve, nasoso kisoh dinga dalhah nahiuve ti vetsahnan. Chule hiche hi heuvin–Pathen Lenggam chu anaitai!
‘Even the dust that clings to us from your town we wipe off against you. Yet know this: The kingdom of God has drawn near to you.’
12 Kaseipeh nahiuve thupi kitan nileh agilou Sodom kho chu chutobang khopi ho sanga phajep diu ahi.
I tell you, on that day it will be more tolerable for Sodom than for that town.
13 “Itobang lunghemnan nangau hitam, vo Korazin le Bethsaida! Ijeh inem itile nalah'a thilkidang kibol hohi agilou Tyre le Sidon khohoa kibol hitaveleh, sotlaiya pat'in amipihon achonset nauva kon lungheina nei untin, khaodippon kisil untin chule akisih'u tahlang nan aluchung uvah vutvam kiloi tauvinte.
“Woe to yoʋ, Chorazin! Woe to yoʋ, Bethsaida! For if the miracles that were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
14 Henge, Tyre le Sidon khopi teni hi thupi kitan nileh nangho sanga phajep diu ahi.
But it will be more tolerable at the judgment for Tyre and Sidon than for you.
15 Chule nangho Capernaum mite, van-gam'ah jabolna chang nauvin natem? Nachan loudiu ahi, thina mun'a nachesuh joh diu ahi,” ati. (Hadēs g86)
And yoʋ, Capernaum, who have been exalted to heaven, will be brought down to Hades. (Hadēs g86)
16 Chuin aseijuite jah'a aseiyin, “Koihileh nathuhil'u kisan a chun keijong eisan ahi. Chule napampai chan'u chun keijong eipampai ahi. Chule koihileh keima eipampai chan chun Pathen, eihinsolpa apampai ahi” ati.
“He who listens to you listens to me; he who rejects you rejects me, and he who rejects me rejects him who sent me.”
17 Seijui somsagi leni ho ahung kileuvin, thanom tah in thulhut ahin bol'un ahi. “Pakai, thilhaho jeng jong kathu uvin anunge nangma min kapat ule,” atiuve.
When the seventy returned, they were joyful and said, “Lord, even the demons submit to us in yoʋr name.”
18 “Henge” tin amaho aseipeh in, “Keiman Satan van'a kona kolphe banga alhahsuh kamui!
He said to them, “I watched Satan fall from heaven like lightning.
19 Veuvin, keiman nangho galmi thilboltheina chunga thuneina kapeh nahiuve, chule nanghon gul le aipi chunga lam najot diu chule nachilgoi dingu ahi. Imachan nasuhkhah loudiu ahi.
Behold, I am giving you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and to overcome all the power of the enemy, and nothing at all will harm you.
20 Amavang lhagao gilou nathuuva anun jeh in kipah hih'un, ahin van-gam'a namin'u akijihlut jeh joh in kipah un,” ati.
Nevertheless, do not rejoice that the spirits submit to you, but rejoice that your names are written in heaven.”
21 Hiche pettah chun Yeshua Lhagao Thenga kipana adimset tan, chuin hitin aseiye, “O Hepa, van le lei Pakai, hiche thilho nangman aching le athem'a kigel hoa pat'a naselguh a, chapang ho henga naphondoh jeh in kakipah'e. Henge Pa, hitia kibol hin nangma nalunglhai sah'e,” ati.
At that same hour Jesus rejoiced in the Spirit and said, “I praise yoʋ, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because yoʋ have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent, and revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for so it was well-pleasing in yoʋr sight.”
22 “Kapan keima imajouse chunga mopohna eipeh ahitai. Pa tailou koiman Chapa chu dihtah in ahepoi, chule Chapa tailou le Chapa in hetsah dinga alhen ho tailouvin koiman Pachu dihtah in ahepoi” ati.
Then he turned to the disciples and said, “All things have been delivered to me by my Father. No one knows who the Son is except the Father, and no one knows who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him.”
23 Chuin amaho changseh aumpet un, aman aseijuite heng lam ngan aseiye, “Nathilmu chengseu mu ah mit hochu anunnom e.
Then he turned to the disciples and said privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!
24 Kaseipeh nahiuve, themgao ho le lengho tamtah'in nathilmu chengseu hi muding anagaldot jingu ahin, hinlah anamupouve. Chuleh najah houhi jah ding anagaldot jing'u ahin, hinlah anaja pouve,” ati.
For I tell you that many prophets and kings wished to see the things you see but did not see them, and to hear the things you hear but did not hear them.”
25 Nikhat hou danthua them khat Yeshua patep dingin adingdoh in hiche thudoh hi adonge, “Houhil, tonsot hinna kanei thei nadia ipi kabol ding ham?” ati. (aiōnios g166)
And behold, a lawyer stood up to test Jesus, saying, “Teacher, what must I do to inherit eternal life?” (aiōnios g166)
26 Yeshuan adonbut in, “Mose dan in ipi asei em? Iti nasim am?” tin adongtai.
Jesus said to him, “What is written in the law? How do yoʋ read it?”
27 Mipa chun adonbut in, “Nangman nalung pumpin, na lhagao pumpin, na thaneina pumpin, chule nalungthim pumpin Pakai naPathen chu ngailun. Chule nangma nakingailut bangin naheng nakom ngailun,” tin aseiye ati.
He answered, “Yoʋ shall love the Lord yoʋr God with all yoʋr heart, with all yoʋr soul, with all yoʋr strength, and with all yoʋr mind; and yoʋ shall love yoʋr neighbor as yoʋrself.”
28 “Adih'e” tin Yeshuan aseipeh in, “Hichu bol'in chule nahin ding ahi!” ati.
Jesus said to him, “Yoʋ have answered correctly; do this and yoʋ will live.”
29 Mipa chun athilbol them akichan nom'in, hijeh chun Yeshua chu adongin, “Koiham kaheng kakom?” ati.
But wishing to justify himself, he said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”
30 Yeshuan thusim khat in adonbut in: “Juda mikhat Jerusalem a pat Jericho lam jon in ajin suh in ahi, chule ama chu lamkah ah migucha michom hon abulu un, aponsil aholhah peh un, avouvin, chule athisa tobang'in lam pang'ah adalha tauve.”
Jesus replied, “A man was going down to Jericho from Jerusalem and fell among robbers. They stripped him, beat him, and went away, leaving him as he was, half dead.
31 Thempu khat in agatoh khan, hinlah mipa chuva akijam amu mu chun, lampi pang langkhat joh apal in adalhatai.
Now a priest happened to be going down that road, but when he saw the man, he passed by on the other side.
32 Hou'in lhachale ho khat agachen chule chukom'a akijam chu amun, ahin aman jong lamsih lang khat ah apeldoh tai.
In the same way, a Levite, when he came to that place and saw him, passed by on the other side.
33 “Chuin musit'a um Samaria mikhat ahung pheiyin, mipa amu chun, avoujang nat peh tan ahi.”
But a Samaritan, who was on a journey, came to where the man was, and when he saw him, he was moved with compassion.
34 Akom ah ache naiyin, Samaria mipa chun akivohna maha chu ajen'in olive thao le ju asunkhum in, atompeh tai. Chuin mipa chu ama sangan chungah ahin puiyin, in khat ah ahin puilut in chukoma chun ajenlen ahi.
He went over to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring oil and wine on them. Then he put him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
35 Ajing in in-ngahpa chu dangka cheng ni apen, aseiyin, “Hichepa hi anavesui in. Achunga lutjat hiche sanga atamjoh khah le, kahung kit teng kapeh ding ahi,” ati.
On the next day, when he was departing, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him, and whatever more yoʋ spend I will repay to yoʋ when I return.’
36 “Tun seiyin hiche mithum ho lah'a chu koipen tah chu hiche mipa gucha michom hon avoh pau dinga aheng akom hi ham?” tin Yeshuan adongtai.
Now which of these three do yoʋ think was a neighbor to the man who fell among the robbers?”
37 Mipa chun adonbut in, “Akhoto pachu ahi,” ati. Chuin Yeshuan aseiyin, “Adih'e, tun chenlang chutobang chun gabol tan,” ati.
The lawyer said, “The one who showed him mercy.” So Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.”
38 Yeshua le aseijuite Jerusalem lam jona achejing laiyun, khokhat ahung lhung un, chua chun Martha kiti nun a-in'a dingin alemin ahi.
As Jesus and his disciples went along, he entered a village, and a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home.
39 Asopinu Mary chu Pakai kengbul ah atouvin, athuhil chu angaiye.
She had a sister named Mary, who sat at Jesus' feet and listened to what he was saying.
40 Ahivangin Martha chu jan anneh lentah agon jeh chun alunggim in ahi. Yeshua komah ahungin ahung seitai, “Pakai dihtheilou nasah lou khattou ham kasopinu thipbeh a atouva ken natoh jouse katoh? Eihung kithopi na dingin hinsol in,” ati.
But Martha was distracted by the many preparations that had to be made. So she came up to Jesus and said, “Lord, do yoʋ not care that my sister has left me to make all the preparations alone? Tell her then to assist me.”
41 Ahivangin Pakai in amanu hengah aseiyin, “Ngailut Martha, nangma hitiho jouse chunga hi lunggima lung himo nahi.”
But Jesus answered her, “Martha, Martha, yoʋ are anxious and troubled about many things,
42 “Thilkhat bouseh khohsah le lunggim nading aume. Maryn hichu akimudoh in, chule amanu a kona kilamang thei lou ding ahitai,” ati.
but only one thing is necessary. Mary has chosen the good portion, and it will not be taken away from her.”
