< Job 27 >

1 Job in athusei ajom kit in:
And Job continued his parable and said,
2 Kathaneina eilah mang peh pa Pathen a kihahselna kaneijin kalhagao eisuhnatpeh Hatchungnung pachu,
[As] God liveth, who hath taken away my right, and the Almighty, who hath embittered my soul,
3 Pathen a konna haina hu kaneija kahai laisung sea,
All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils,
4 Kakama thuse kasei lou ding chuleh kalei jin jong thujou sei ponge.
My lips shall not speak unrighteousness, nor my tongue utter deceit!
5 Keiman nadihna kapom peh louhel ding ahi, kathi chan geija lung thengsel'a kaum na hi kahuh jing ding ahi.
Be it far from me that I should justify you; till I die I will not remove my blamelessness from me.
6 Keiman nolnabei kahina hi lhaso louhela katuhchah jing ding kahin lai sung sea ka selepha hetna hi thengsel ah ahi.
My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart reproacheth [me] not one of my days.
7 Kamelma pachu migiloupa bangin kigim bolhen, kamelma te jong miphalou ho tobang hiuhen.
Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that riseth up against me as the unrighteous.
8 Pathen in asatlhah tengule Pathen neilou ten ipi kinepna anei nahlai diu ham? Chuleh ahinkhou akilah mang teng leh,
For what is the hope of the ungodly, when [God] cutteth him off, when God taketh away his soul?
9 Hahsatna achung'uva ahunglhun tengle Pathen in akanau angai peh dem?
Will God hear his cry when distress cometh upon him?
10 Hatchungnung pa komma kipana akimu diu hinam? Itih phat hijongle Pathen ahou thei diu ham?
Doth he delight himself in the Almighty? will he at all times call upon God?
11 Pathen thahatna chu keiman kahil ding nahi. Keiman Hatchungnung pa chungchang thu imacha im kanei lou ding ahi.
I will teach you concerning the hand of God; what is with the Almighty will I not conceal.
12 Hicheng ho jouse hi namusoh ahitan ahivangin pannabei thu jeng kakomah nasei nalaije.
Behold, ye yourselves have all seen [it]; and why are ye thus altogether vain?
13 Migilouvin Pathen komma konna amu ding chu hiche hi ahi, Hatchungnung pa a konna agou chan diu chu hiche hi ahi.
This is the portion of the wicked man with God, and the heritage of the violent, which they receive from the Almighty: —
14 Chate tamtah nei maithei unte, ahinlah achateu chu gal kidouna ahiloule an ngolla thidiu ahi.
If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword, and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread;
15 Ahingdoh nalai ho chu gamna hise a thidiu, chule ameithai hou jeng in jong apul u adou lou diu ahi.
Those that remain of him shall be buried by death, and his widows shall not weep.
16 Miphalou ten sum alom lomin nei maithei untin chule ponsil lhemlhung bangin sevum maithei unte.
Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare clothing as the clay;
17 Ahinlah hiche ponsil ho chu michonpha hon akivon diu chule nolna bei miho hiche sum chu kihom diu ahi.
He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on; and the innocent shall divide the silver.
18 Migilou hon mompan banga se baijin in kisah untin, thingbah kanga kisa bangin paset in kisah unte.
He buildeth his house as the moth, and as a booth that a keeper maketh.
19 Migiloupa chu alupna ah hausa tah in chen tin ahin ahung khah doh teng anei jouse ana beisoh amu ding ahi.
He lieth down rich, but will do so no more; he openeth his eyes, and he is not.
20 Kichat nan twisoh bangin vuh khum untin chuleh amaho chu janna khopi hui nung chun amut mang tauve.
Terrors overtake him like waters; a whirlwind stealeth him away in the night.
21 Solam hui chun amaho apomang un chule amaho chu achemang a kitheh anga hi tauve.
The east wind carrieth him away and he is gone; and as a storm it hurleth him out of his place.
22 Dipdapna neilouvin apei lhu uvin, hiche thaneina a konna jamdohna ding akiha bol uve.
And [God] shall cast upon him and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.
23 Ahinlah mijousen anuisat u chu iman agel pouve.
[Men] shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.
