< Jeremiah 49 >

1 Ammon mite chung changa thuhil khat ahung kipen ahi. Hichi hi Pakai sei ahi: “Gad gam lodinga Israel son le pah umlou hitam? Molech hou ho nanghon epidinga khopi sunga na chensah uham?
Unto the children of Ammon thus saith the Lord, Hath Israel no sonnes? or hath he none heire? Why then hath their king possessed God? and his people dwelt in his cities?
2 Nikho ho ahung lhun teng leh.” tin Pakaiyin aseijin, “Na khopiu Rabbah douna a gal ka kou ding ahi. Lahlou thil mangthah kiselom banga akhopiu chu gam hel ding, chuleh akimvela kho ho jong kihal lhasoh keiding ahi. Chuteng Israel te gam analah peh uchu aki nung lah diu ahi,” tin Pakaiyin aseije.
Therefore beholde the dayes come, sayeth the Lord, that I will cause a noyse of warre to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites, and it shall be a desolate heape, and her daughters shall be burnt with fire: then shall Israel possesse those that possessed him, sayeth the Lord.
3 “Aw Heshbon, kap doh in, ajeh chu Ai khopi chu akisumang heltai. Kap un, Aw Rabbah mite! Lunghemna von chu kivonun, kap unlang peng uvin, Pal dunga chun kiselun, ajeh chu na Pathen un Molech, chule athempu holeh vaihom lamkai ho ada adoi uva gamla tah muna akai mang diu ahi.
Howle, O Heshbon, for Ai is wasted: crie ye daughters of Rabbah: girde you with sackecloth: mourne and runne to and from by the hedges: for their King shall goe into captiuitie; and his Priestes, and his princes likewise.
4 Na phaicham leiphat lai na kiletsahpi uvin ahi, hichi ho jong chu hung mangtha ding ahi. Tahsanlhom nu, nanei nagou a na kisongin koiman ima eilothei ponte tin na ngaiton ahi.
Wherefore gloriest thou in the valleis? thy valley floweth away, O rebellious daughter: she trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come vnto me?
5 Ahin ven! Tijat umtah nachunga kahin lhunsah ding, tin Pakai thaneitah chun aseije; naheng na kimvel a chenghon nagam a konin nahin deldoh diu, chule nakino mang naa kona koiman nahuh lou ding, ama ho jeng jong jamcheh diu ahi.
Beholde, I will bring a feare vpon thee, sayth the Lord God of hostes, of all those that be about thee, and ye shalbe scattered euery man right foorth, and none shall gather him that fleeth.
6 Ahin keiman Ammon mite haosatna ka le tundoh peh kitding ahi, “Keima Pakaiyin kasei ahi.”
And afterward I will bring againe the captiuitie of the children of Ammon.
7 Edom chung changa hichi thuhil hi ahung ki pen ahi, Thaneitah Pakai in hitin aseije: “Teman mi a chihna umlou va ham? Miching mihilchah ding khat jong umlou hel hitam?”
To Edom thus sayeth the Lord of hostes: Is wisdome no more in Teman? is counsel perished from their children? is their wisdome vanished?
8 Kihei unlang jammang un! Dedan mite leiko thuh hoa kisel uvin, ajeh chu vangset na nasatah Edom chunga kahin lhut tengleh nang jong gotna ka peh tha ding ahi!
Flee, ye inhabitants of Dedan (they are turned backe, and haue consulted to dwell) for I haue brought the destruction of Esau vpon him, and the time of his visitation.
9 Lengpi thei ga kholtup hon, vaicha te din themkhat adalha jiuvin ahi. Janteng guchahon abonin agudoh jipouve.
If the grape gatherers come to thee, would they not leaue some grapes? if theeues come by night, they will destroy till they haue ynough.
10 Ahin Edom gam chu ngemsela kalha ding ahi. Chule agam sunga kiselna ding munneo khat jeng cha jong umlou ding ahi. Achateu asopiu pasal ho, chule aheng akom hou jouse suhmanga umding ahin, Edom jeng jong umlou ding ahitai.
For I haue discouered Esau: I haue vncouered his secrets, and he shall not be able to hide himselfe: his seede is wasted, and his brethren and his neighbours, and there shall be none to say,
11 “Ahin keiman nalah uva umnalai naochaga ho chu kavenbit ding ahi. Na meithai hou jong kachunga kithopi dia kingai thei ahiuve.”
Leaue thy fathers children, and I will preserue them aliue, and let thy widowes trust in me.
12 Hiche hi Pakaiyin asei chu ahi, “Mona neilou in athohgim mong ding ahileh, nangin ajat ja na thohgim dading ham! Gotna chang louva naum louding ahi! Thutanna khon a nadon tei ding ahi!” ati.
For thus sayth the Lord, Beholde, they whose iudgement was not to drinke of the cuppe, haue assuredly drunken, and art thou he that shall escape free? thou shalt not goe free, but thou shalt surely drinke of it.
13 Ajeh chu Keima min panna kaki hahsel ahi, tin Pakai in aseije, “Bozrah, tijat umna mun leh a mangthai di thilho khoptup na mun hung soh ding: Sapset le nuisatna hung umding ahi. A khopi sung uleh akholai hoa itih a dinga mangthah diu ahitai.”
For I haue sworne by my selfe, sayeth the Lord, that Bozrah shall be waste, and for a reproche, and a desolation, and a curse, and all the cities thereof shall be perpetuall desolations.
14 Pakai koma thuhil khat kajan, hichu: chi le nam ho henga palai ahung kisolin, “Edom dounan kipum khom unlang galsat din kigosa demin umun!”
I haue heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassadour is sent vnto the heathen, saying, Gather you together, and come against her, and rise vp to the battell.
15 Pakaiyin Edom henga aseijin, “Chitin namtin lah a neocha kahin soding, mijouse thet a nahung umding ahi,” ati.
For loe, I will make thee but small among the heathen, and despised among men.
16 Midang kichat naa na thumop chun nang le nang naki lheplhah sah tan, chule na ki letsah nan lheplhah na umtam ahi. Molsang sang tah ho lah a songpi kulsunga na chengin ahi. Ahin Muvanlai bangin lhang leh a buh sajong lechun, ka tahlhah ding nahi,” tin Pakaiyin aseije.
Thy feare, and ye pride of thine heart hath deceiued thee, thou that dwellest in the cleftes of the rocke, and keepest the height of ye hil: though thou shouldest make thy nest as hie as the eagle, I wil bring thee downe from thece, sayth the Lord.
17 Edom chu tijat umtah khat hung hi ding ahi. A lamlha jouse kicha uvintin, akisuh mang muho chu tijatnaa dimdiu ahi.
Also Edom shall be desolate: euery one that goeth by it, shall be astonished, and shall hisse at all the plagues thereof,
18 “Sodom leh Gomorrah chule akimvel’a um khoho kisumanggam tobang ding ahi.” Tin Pakai in aseije, “Koima chenglou ding, koima chan alo lou ding ahi.”
As in the ouerthrowe of Sodom, and of Gomorah, and the places thereof neere about, saieth the Lord: no man shall dwell there, neither shall the sonnes of men remaine in it.
19 Keipi bahkai Jordan gammang a kona kelngoi abahkhum banga ka hung ding ahi. Edom gam sunga kona kadel doh ding, chule keima deidan a lamkai khat kapoh sah ding ahi. Ajeh chu kei to koi kibanga, chule koiham eichou dinga? Kalungdei a koivaihom naa adoudal ding umham?
Beholde, hee shall come vp like a lyon from the swelling of Iorden vnto the strong dwelling place: for I will make Israel to rest, euen I will make him to haste away from her, and who is a chosen man that I may appoynt against her? for who is like mee? and who will appoint me the time? and who is the shepheard that will stande before me?
20 Ngaijin, Edom leh Teman mite dounaa Pakai thilgon hohi. Chapang neocha hogeija kelngol banga kikai thangding, chuleh a chennau in hojong kisumang soh hel ding ahi.
Therefore heare the counsell of the Lord that hee hath deuised against Edom, and his purpose that hee hath conceiued against the inhabitants of Teman: surely the least of the flocke shall drawe them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
21 Edom lhuh gin achu leiset chung kithing intin, hesoh gentheija ka-na chu twikhanglen sangdung geija kijapha ding ahi.
The earth is mooued at the noyse of their fall: the crie of their voice is heard in the red Sea.
22 Ven! Melma chu, Muvanlai in alha ajal a ahung lenlhah banga, Bozrah chu mandinga gangtah a hung leng suh ding ahi. Galhang hattah ho jeng jong numei naoso nat tobanga tasa gimna anei diu ahi.
Behold, he shall come vp, and flie as the Egle, and spreade his wings ouer Bozrah, and at that day shall the heart of the strong men of Edome be as the heart of a woman in trauaile.
23 Damascus chung changa hitin thuhil ahung kipen ahi. Hiti hin Pakaiyin aseije: Hamath le Arpad khopi ho kichat tijatnan adim in, ajeh chu suhmanga aum thusoh chu ajaovin ahi. Twikhanglen'a hui le go hattah nun bangin alungsung’u jong aki chol tapouvin ahi.
Vnto Damascus he sayeth, Hamath is confounded and Arpad, for they haue heard euill tidings, and they are faint hearted as one on the fearefull sea that can not rest.
24 Damascus atha ahung lhasam tan, amite jouse jam din aum tauvin, numei naosonat kituh chah bangin, atuhchah tan ahi.
Damascus is discouraged, and turneth her selfe to flight and feare hath seased her: anguish and sorowes haue taken her as a woman in trauaile.
25 “Hiche khopi minthang, kipana khopi chu nungsun a umding ahi tai!
How is the glorious citie not reserued, the citie of my ioy?
26 A khangdong hou jong lamlen na lhu untin thidiu ahi. Asepai jouseu kithat gamhel diu ahi,” tin thaneitah Pakai chun aseije.
Therefore her yong men shall fall in her streetes, and all her men of warre shall be cut off in that day, sayeth the Lord of hostes.
27 “Chule Damascus khopi bangho meiya ka hal ding, Ben-Hadad leng inpi ho kahal lhah ding ahi.”
And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, which shall cosume the palaces of Benhadad.
28 Kedar le Hazor lenggam teni, Babylon lengpa Nebuchadnezzar in asat chung changa thuhil khat ahung kipen ahi. Hiche hi Pakaiyin asei ahi! “Kedar chu nailut un! Solam a konin agollhang hou chu sumang un!
Vnto Kedar, and to the kingdomes of Hazor, which Nebuchad-nezzar, king of Babel shall smite, thus sayeth the Lord, Arise, and goe vp vnto Kedar, and destroy the men of the East.
29 A gancha houle a khoilu pon jouseo hung kilah peh untin, anei agou le asangongsao hou hung kilah peh diu ahi. Muntin a kichat na thubou kithanga kija ding, aki heina jou seuva kichat naa dim diu ahi.”
Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: yea, they shall take to themselues their curtaines and all their vessels, and their camels, and they shall crie vnto them, Feare is on euery side.
30 Naki hinso nadiu vin jam uvin, tin Pakaiyin aseije, “Leiko thuh a kiseluvin nang ho Hazor mite, ajeh chu Babylon leng Nebuchadnezzar in nang ho douna le nangho suhmang dingin kigosan aum tai.”
Flee, get you farre off (they haue consulted to dwell) O ye inhabitants of Hazor, saith the Lord: for Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel hath taken counsell against you, and hath deuised a purpose against you.
31 “Chetou unlang hiche nomsate khu ga sat un,” tin Pakaiyin aseije, “A miteu achang seh un kot le bang jong umlou nelgam a achengun ahi.
Arise, and get you vp vnto the welthy nation that dwelleth without care, saith the Lord, which haue neither gates nor barres, but dwel alone.
32 A sangongsao houleh agancha hou abonna nanghoa hiding ahi. Keiman amaho hi huilah’a kathe mangding, mun gamla tah tah a cheng hohi muntin’a kon’a vangsetna achung'uva kalhun sah ding ahi,” tin Pakaiyin aseije.
And their camels shall be a bootie, and the multitude of their cattel a spoile, and I will scatter them into all windes, and to the vtmost corners, and I will bring their destruction from al the sides thereof, sayeth the Lord.
33 “Hazor chu Sial hon chennan hin neijuntin, aitih a mihem koima cheng talou ding ahi. Hilai mun a chu koima cheng talou ding, koiman alo lou ding ahi.”
And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and desolation for euer: there shall no man dwell there, nor the sonnes of men remaine in it.
34 Elam chung chang thuhil khat themgao Jeremiah henga Judah Lengpa Zedekiah vaihom lai in, Pakaiya konin ahung in ahi.
The woordes of the Lord that came to Ieremiah the Prophet, concerning Elam, in the beginning of the reigne of Zedekiah King of Iudah, saying,
35 Hiche hi thaneitah Pakaiyin asei ahi: “Keiman Elam te thalkap themho kasuhmang ding – agal sat-hou lah’a ahangsan pen,
Thus sayeth the Lord of hostes, Beholde, I will breake the bowe of Elam, euen the chiefe of their strength.
36 melmaho muntin’a kon a kahin puilut ding, Elam mite chu van thamjol ning li a kona hui a kathe mang ding ahi. Vannoi gamtin a kona kaidoh a umdiu ahi.
And vpon Elam I will bring the foure windes from the foure quarters of heauen, and will scatter them towardes all these windes, and there shall bee no nation, whither the fugitiues of Elam shall not come.
37 Keima tah jong Elam melma hotoh kache khom a asukeh lah a kajao ding ahi. Ka lung satna kona manthahna lentah Elam mite chunga kahin lhut ding ahi,” tin Pakaiyin aseije. “Kasuhmang hel masanga amelmateu vin chemjama adeldiu ahi.
For I will cause Elam to be afraied before their enemies, and before them that seeke their liues, and will bring vpon them a plague, euen the indignation of my wrath, saieth the Lord, and I wil sende the sworde after them till I haue consumed them.
38 Elam a ka Laltouna kadoding,” tin Pakaiyin aseije. “Chule Keiman alengpao le avaihom hou kasuhmang ding ahi.”
And I wil set my throne in Elam, and I wil destroy both the King and the princes from thence, saith the Lord:
39 Ahin phat ho ahung lhun tengle, Elam haosatna ka tundoh kitding ahi, Keima Pakaiyin kasei ahi.
but in the latter daies I wil bring againe the captiuitie of Elam, sayeth the Lord.
