< Isaiah 60 >

1 Kipatdoh in, Jerusalem! Navah chu mi jouse mudingin vahdoh hen. Ajeh chu Pakai loupina chu na chunguva hung vahdoh ding ahi.
Be enlightened, be enlightened, O Jerusalem, for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee.
2 Thim jinin janthim tobanga vannoi chitin-namtin mite atom khum ding, hinla Pakai loupina chu hung kipatdoh’a chule nachunguva hung kilang ding ahi.
Behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and [there shall be] gross darkness on the nations: but the Lord shall appear upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee.
3 Chitin –namtin jouse navah’u vea hung dingu: Lenghat tah tah ho jong chu navahloupi ahungvet dingu ahi.
And kings shall walk in thy light, and nations in thy brightness.
4 Dah in lang ven, ajeh iham itileh mi ama ama incheh’a ahunguve! Nachapateu gamlatah tah gam'a kon’a hung dingu, nachanu neo chachaho chu in na kipuilut ding ahiuve.
Lift up thine eyes round about, and behold thy children gathered: all thy sons have come from far, and thy daughters shall be borne on [men's] shoulders.
5 Na mitnu vahseh intin, chule nalung sungu jong kipana’a dimset ding ahiuve, ajeh chu ajeh iham itileh vannoi kolkimvella kiveimiho chu nahenga hung ding ahiuve. Amaho chun gamtampi neile gou ho chu ahinpoh dingu ahi.
Then shalt thou see, and fear, and be amazed in thine heart; for the wealth of the sea shall come round to thee, and of nations and peoples; and herds of camels shall come to thee,
6 Sa ngongsang ahonpia nang langa hungkhom dingu, Midian mite le Ephah mite sa ngongsang ho ahi. Sheba mite chun sana le bego (thingnai namtui pen) chu ahinpoh’uva Pakai ahung hou dingu ahi.
and the camels of Madiam and Gaepha shall cover thee: all from Saba shall come bearing gold, and shall bring frankincense, and they shall publish the salvation of the Lord.
7 Kedar Kelngoi le keltah hon ho chu nangma nakipe ding, chule Nebaioth kelngoichal ho kamaicham muma hung kipuilut dingu ahi. Amaho kilhaina maicham kasan peh ding, chule Ka Hou’In loupitah asodoh dingu ahi.
And all the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered, and the rams of Nabaeoth shall come; and acceptable sacrifices shall be offered on my altar, and my house of prayer shall be glorified.
8 Chule Keiman meibol tobanga Israel lam jona ga lenglea kamun, vakhuho age nau bu sunga umtobang kagahmu khu ipi hija ham?
Who are these [that] fly as clouds, and as doves with young ones to me?
9 Amaho khu leiset kolkim vella kong innei umho ahiuvin, Keima eitahsan gamhoa kona hung ahiuvin, Tarshis Kong Innei lentah tah ho chun ahin lamkai ahiuve. Amaho hin gamla tah gam'a konna Israelte dinga Dangka le Sana ahin poh peh’u ahije. Amahon Pakai na Pathen’u, Israel lah’a AThengpa ajabol dingu, ajeh chu Aman loupe tah’a nabol’u ahitai.
The isles have waited for me, and the ships of Tharsis among the first, to bring thy children from afar, and their silver and their gold with them, and [that] for the sake of the holy name of the Lord, and because the Holy One of Israel is glorified.
10 Gamdang miho nakhopi hou sapha dinga hung dingu, chule aleng hou chu najen leuva pang ding ahiuve. Ajeh iham itileh Keiman kalung hanna in nasuh gamu anahita jong leng, tua hi ka lungsetna jal'a na chunguva ka khotona kakoi ding ahitai.
And strangers shall build thy walls, and their kings shall wait upon thee: for by reason of my wrath I smote thee, and by reason of mercy I loved thee.
11 Na khokul kotpi hou chu sunle jana kikhah kit talou ding, gam tampi neile gouho kipolut chu nachan dingu ahi. Galjona kijot khomna’ a chu leng tampi ho chu soh’changa kikai ding ahi tauve.
And thy gates shall be opened continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; to bring in to thee the power of the Gentiles, and their kings as captives.
12 Ajeh iham itileh namtina miho najen nomlou hou chu kisumang ding ahiuve.
For the nations and the kings which will not serve thee shall perish; and those nations shall be made utterly desolate.
13 Lebanon loupina chu nangma’a hi ding: Cypress gam mang a umho, phanthing sangtah tah ho le chahthing ho chu Ka Muntheng jep’hoina hiding, Ka Hou’In loupi tah hi ding ahitai.
And the glory of Libanus shall come to thee, with the cypress, and pine, and cedar together, to glorify my holy place.
14 Nangma nana bolgenthei chilhah ho chu nahenga hunguva, na angsunga kineosah tah’a hungkun ding ahiuve. Nangma nahsahmo tah’a nabolho chun nakengphang ahin chop dingu ahi. Amahon Pakai Khopi le Zion, Israel lah’a Athengpa nati dingu ahitai.
And the sons of them that afflicted thee, and of them that provoked thee, shall come to thee in fear; and thou shalt be called Sion, the city of the Holy One of Israel.
15 Nangma hi nahsahmo le thet’uma khatvei ana kibolla, kholjin vahle ho koiman nahopa nomlou hi jongle chun, Keiman a’itih’a kajep hoi ding, akhang khanga mite kipana nahi jing dingu ahitai.
Because thou has become desolate and hated, and there was no helper, therefore I will make thee a perpetual gladness, a joy of many generations.
16 Thanei tah Leng ho le nam hattah tah ho chun na ngaichat chan, lengnu noituija kivah chapang tobanga lungna chimsetna napeh dingu ahi. Nangman Keima Pakai na-Huhhingpa le na- Lhatdampa, Israel tedinga Mihatpa chu kahi.
And thou shalt suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt eat the wealth of kings: and shalt know that I am the Lord that saves thee and delivers thee, the Holy One of Israel.
17 Keiman na sum eng’u chu Sana’a kakhel peh’a, na thih’u chu dangka’a ka khelpeh ding chule na song’u chu thih’a ka khelpeh sohkei ding ahije. Keiman chamna napuile dinga chule chonphatna chun navai hom dia kapansah ding ahi.
And for brass I will bring thee gold, and for iron I will bring thee silver, and instead of wood I will bring thee brass, and instead of stones, iron; and I will make thy princes peaceable, and thine overseers righteous.
18 Na gam sunga nosopma kibolna kija kit tapontin: Galjeh’a gamna le suhmangna kichai ding ahitai. Huhhingna chu khopi bangho tobang'in na kimvelin kisungin tin, chule chuchea lut ho jouse chun akamuva avahchoi dingu ahitai.
And injustice shall no more be heard in thy land, nor destruction nor misery in thy coasts; but thy walls shall be called Salvation, and thy gates Sculptured Work.
19 Sun teng jongle nisa vah ngaicha ta pon natin, jan teng jongleh lha chun avah chu ahin vahdohsah ngaibe taponte, ajeh iham itileh Pakai na Pathen chu tonsot vah hijing tading chule na Pathen chu naloupina hijing ding ahitai.
And thou shalt no more have the sun for a light by day, nor shall the rising of the moon lighten thy night; but the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and God thy glory.
20 Na nisan lhumtih neitapon tin; na lhathah jong lhum taponte. Ajeh iham itileh Pakai chu nangma dinga tonsotna navah’a pang jing ding ahitai. Na lung hemna nikho ho chu hung kichai ding ahitai.
For the sun shall no more set, nor shall the moon be eclipsed; for the Lord shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be completed.
21 Na mite jouse chonpha ding ahiuve. Amahon agam sungu chu a’itih’a alo jing dingu ahitai, ajeh iham itileh kaloupina pohlut theina dinga amaho chu chuche muna chu kaphudet ding ahitai
Thy people also shall be all righteous; they shall inherit the land for ever, preserving that which they have planted, [even] the works of their hands, for glory.
22 Insung mi lhom penna jong chu mi sang khat hung lhing dingu ahitai, chule ahon lhom pen jong chu mihat tah nam kiti dingu ahi. Aphat bep cha, Keima Pakaiyin hichu kahin bulhit ding ahitai.
The little one shall become thousands, and the least a great nation; I the Lord will gather them in [due] time.
