1 Vo cha neilou nu, cha hing khalou hel nu nangman, lan san! Vo Jerusalem, aw ging le kipah thanom tah in la san. Naoso nat thoh khalou hel numei, dalhah’a um numei nu chun, ajipato chengkhom nu sangin, cha atam hin johtai, tin Pakaiyin aseije.
Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that dost not travail: for more are the children of the desolate than of her that has a husband: for the Lord has said,
2 Na in keh lenin, chule abanin khat sahben. Na in sah chu kijalsah in, chule sumchena ding itchah hih hellin.
Enlarge the place of thy tent, and of thy curtains: fix [the pins], spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy pins;
3 Ajeh iham itileh bailam tah’a nangma na kidop sangna chun nakipa sah ding ahi. Nason nachi lhah ho chun nam dangho gam aloding chule khopi mangthah hoa chu gacheng kit diu ahi.
spread forth [thy tent] yet to the right and the left: for thy seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and thou shalt make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
4 Jachatna hinkho naman kit lou ding ahitah jeh in, kicha hih in. Nangma not thapna chang lou ding nahi tah jeh in kicha hih beh in. Nangman na khangdonlai jachatna ho le meithai lunghemna jong na geldoh kittah lou helding ahitai.
Fear not, because thou has been put to shame, neither be confounded, because thou was reproached: for thou shalt forget thy former shame, and shalt no more at all remember the reproach of thy widowhood.
5 Ajeh iham itileh na- Sempa chu najipa hung hiding; Amin chu Van Galmite Pakai akiti. Ama chu Vannoi pumpi Pathen, Israelte Atheng Penpa, na Chodohpa chu ahi.
For [it is] the Lord that made thee; the Lord of hosts is his name: and he that delivered thee, he is the God of Israel, [and] shall be called [so] by the whole earth.
6 Ajeh iham itileh Pakaiyin - nangma khang dong cha jinei, ajipan adalhah tobanga, nangma nalung hemna’a konna hin koukitna ahitai, tin Pakaiyin aseije.
The Lord has not called thee as a deserted and faint-hearted woman, nor as a woman hated from [her] youth, saith thy God.
7 Phat chomcha kadon lou nahin, hijongleh khoto them tah’a kale lah kit ding nahi.
For a little while I left thee: but with great mercy will I have compassion upon thee.
8 Lunghan koujah jeh’a chomcha khat kamai kahei mang anahi. Hinla tonsot ngailutna’a keiman nangma kakhoto ding nahi, tin na-Pakai, na -Chodohpan aseije.
In a little wrath I turned away my face from thee; but with everlasting mercy will I have compassion upon thee, saith the Lord that delivers thee.
9 Keiman Noah phat laiya kana kihahsella, Keiman twi-sangletna leiset pumpi kachupsah kit tahlou hel ding ahi tia kanasei banga, tua hi kakihahsel’a, Keima kalung hangkit talou ding chule kagimbol lou ding nahitai.
From the time of the water of Noe this is my [purpose]: as I sware to him at that time, [saying] of the earth, I will no more be wroth with thee, neither when thou art threatened,
10 Ajeh iham itileh molsang ho kichon hen lang chule mol’ho kichon mang ding hijongleh, ka ngailutna kitahna nangma chunga ka umsah den ding, ka kitepna phatthei bohna chu itih’a kisukeh lou hel ding ahitai, tin ahepina nachunga koipa Pakaiyin aseije.
shall the mountains depart, nor shall thy hills be removed: so neither shall my mercy fail thee, nor shall the covenant of thy peace be at all removed: for the Lord [who is] gracious to thee has spoken [it].
11 Vo khopi huijin asuh ling jing, boija chule kinepna um talou khopi! Keiman nangma songman tam’a kasah phatna chule na’inbul ho chu saphir songa kaphudet ding ahi.
Afflicted and outcast thou has not been comforted: behold, I [will] prepare carbuncle [for] thy stones, and sapphire for thy foundations;
12 Keiman na in sang ho chu songman tam vah lap lap’a kasem’a, na kelkot ho chu valleh leh’a kajepma chule na- in bang ho jong chu song mantam’a kijep ding ahije.
and I will make thy buttresses jasper, and thy gates crystal, and thy border precious stones.
13 Keiman nachateho jouse kahil ding, chule amahon lungmonna bulhingset’ nomsa ding ahiuve.
And [I will cause] all thy sons [to be] taught of God, and thy children [to be] in great peace.
14 Thu adih le ahoia kivaipohna khat umna’a chu nangma ki huhbit ding nahi. Na melmate nangma’a konna gamla tah’a kichon doh dingu, nangma lungmonga nachen ding, tijatnan nahin nailou ding ahitai.
And thou shalt be built in righteousness: abstain from injustice, and thou shalt not fear; and trembling shall not come nigh thee.
15 Nangma douna a nam khat galla nasat dinga ahunga ahileh, keima hinsol ahipoi. Koi hijongleh nano khum ho chu gallel’a kumsuh ding ahiuve.
Behold, strangers shall come to thee by me, and shall sojourn with thee, and shall run to thee for refuge.
16 Keiman thih khengpa kasem ahin, ama chun pum meiya meihol ajapma chule gal manchah kisuh gamna ding akhendoh ahi. Keiman asumang ding sepai ho semsa kakoi ahitai.
Behold, I have created thee, not as the coppersmith blowing coals, and bringing out a vessel [fit] for work; but I have created thee, not for ruin, that [I] should destroy [thee].
17 Hijongleh ahung lhung ding nikho’a chu nangma douna’a gal manchah pan ho chu lolhing pouvinte. Nangma oimo dinga aw sanga thusei ho chu nangman napho thip ding ahi. Hiche phatchomna hohi Pakai lhachate chang ding ahiuve. Hiche kisei adihna photchetna hi keija kon hunga ahi, Keima Pakaiyin kasei ahitai.
I will not suffer any weapon formed against thee to prosper; and every voice that shall rise up against thee for judgment, thou shalt vanquish them all; and thine adversaries shall be [condemned] thereby. There is an inheritance to them that serve the Lord, and ye shall be righteous before me, saith the Lord.
