In those days was Hezekiah sick and near death. Isaiah [Salvation of Yah] the prophet, the son of Amoz, came to him, and said to him, “Adonai says, ‘Enjoin your house, set it in order, for you will die, and not live.’”

4 Hichun Pakai akonin Isaiah henga thuhil ahungin:
Then Adonai’s word came to Isaiah [Salvation of Yah], saying,

Behold, I will cause the shadow on the sundial, which has gone down on the sundial of Ahaz with the sun, to make teshuvah ·complete return· backward ten steps. So the sun returned ten steps on the sundial on which it had gone down.”’”
9 Leng Hezekiah a hung dam sel phat in hiche jaila hi asunin ahi:
The writing of Hezekiah king of Judah [Praised], when he had been sick, and had recovered of his sickness.
10 Keiman kaseijin, “Ka hinkho hoilai tah'a thina mun tua kalut ngaija ham? Kumkho kanei nalai chengse eiki lahpeh got na ham? (Sheol h7585)
I said, “In the middle of my life I go into the gates of Sheol ·Place of the dead·. I am deprived of the residue of my years.” (Sheol h7585)
11 Keiman kaseijin, “Mihing gam'a kachen laisen Pakai Pathen chu a itih'a kamu kitlou ding ahitai. Kaloi kajol ho avel'a kanung mu kit tah louhel ding hiche vannoi a chengho tojong ka umkhom kit tahlou helding ahi.

My dwelling is removed, and is carried away from me like a shepherd’s tent. I have rolled up, like a weaver, my life. He will cut me off from the loom. From day even to night you will make an end of me.
13 Jan khovah in lungneng tah in kangah in, ahin keipi bahkai hon ei boh kabang jengin ahi. Hetman louvin ka hinkho chu abeitan ahi.

Lord, men live by these things; and my spirit finds life in all of them: you restore me, and cause me to live.
17 Ahi, hiche lung gentheina kaum chu aphai, ajehchu nangman thina'a konin nei huhdoh in chuleh ka chonset na jouse nei ngaidam in ahi.
Behold, for peace I had great anguish, but you have in chasak ·desire, to make bands· for my soul delivered it from the pit of corruption; for you have cast all my sins behind your back.

For Sheol ·Place of the dead· can’t yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· unto you. Death can’t celebrate you. Those who go down into the pit (of Abbadon, the unrighteous side of Sheol) can’t hope for your truth. (Sheol h7585)
19 Tunia keiman ka vahchoi banga hi mihing hon bou na vahchoi thei diu ahi. Tahsan umtah nahi khangkhat nakon khang kitna aseipeh uvin ahi.
The living, the living, he shall yadah ·extend hands in thankful praise· to you, as I do today. The father shall make known your truth to the children.
