When Abram was ninetie yeere olde and nine, the Lord appeared to Abram, and said vnto him, I am God all sufficient. walke before me, and be thou vpright,

And I will make my couenant betweene me and thee, and I will multiplie thee exceedingly.
3 Hichun Abram in amai tol lang aven hichun Pathen in ahin hou vin hitin aseiye,
Then Abram fell on his face, and God talked with him, saying,

Beholde, I make my couenant with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations,

Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shalbe Abraham: for a father of many nations haue I made thee.
6 Keiman nangma hatah a kaga sah ding, na lolhin ding na chilhah ten nam tamtah ahin sondoh diu, chule leng thupitah tah jong amaho lah a hung umdoh ding ahiye.
Also I will make thee exceeding fruitfull, and will make nations of thee: yea, Kings shall proceede of thee.
7 Keiman athah a nangma to iki noptona chu na chilhahte to kaki tepna avela ka phudoh kit ding nangma nunga na chilhahte a dinga jong, khang le khang kikah ajong, hiche hi atonsot'a hiding, keima na Pathen nu kahi jing ding chule nanam, na chilhahte Pathen jong kahi jing ding ahi.
Moreouer I wil establish my couenant betweene me and thee, and thy seede after thee in their generations, for an euerlasting couenant, to be God vnto thee and to thy seede after thee.

And I will giue thee and thy seede after thee the land, wherein thou art a stranger, euen all the land of Canaan, for an euerlasting possession, and I will be their God.

Againe God said vnto Abraham, Thou also shalt keepe my couenant, thou, and thy seede after thee in their generations.
10 Hiche hi ahi kinopto na nangma le na chilhahte jousen ajui cheh ding, nangho lah a pasal jousen chep akitan soh kei ding'u ahi.
This is my couenant which ye shall keepe betweene me and you, and thy seede after thee, Let euery man childe among you be circumcised:
11 Nangman na bollou a hitheilou chu na tahsa vun val abohlai chu na chelhah soh kei ding, hichun avetsah chu ahile keima le nangma kikah a ki nopto na hijing ding ahi.
That is, ye shall circumcise the foreskin of your flesh, and it shalbe a signe of the couenant betweene me and you.
12 Hiche hi nangma insung mite seh hilou vin, koi tobang nasoh na kol nangma insunga dinga na choh doh ho jouse jong ahop tha cheh ding,
And euery man childe of eight dayes olde among you, shalbe circumcised in your generations, aswell he that is borne in thine house, as he that is bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seede.
13 Abonchauva chep na kitan cheh diu, na tahsa uva maha na poh u-chu keima toh atonsot na iki nopto na'uva umjing ding ahiye.
He that is borne in thine house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needes be circumcised: so my couenant shall be in your flesh for an euerlasting couenant.
14 Koi tobang pasal khat tou hiche kinopto na cheptan hi bol lou aumle ama chu kinopto na insunga kon'a paimanga um ding ahi, ajeh chu kinopto na ajuilou jeh ahi.
But the vncircumcised man childe, in whose flesh the foreskin is not circumcised, euen that person shall be cut off from his people, because he hath broken my couenant.
15 Hichun Pathen in Abraham ahoulimpi in “Sarai na Inneipi Sarai na ti tahlou ding ahi, ijeh inem itile amanu min jong hi tua patna Sarah hiding ahi tai.
Afterward God said vnto Abraham, Sarai thy wife shalt thou not call Sarai, but Sarah shalbe her name.

And I will blesse her, and will also giue thee a sonne of her, yea, I will blesse her, and she shall be the mother of nations: Kings also of people shall come of her.
17 Hichun Abraham jong akun in tol lang aven anui tai, chuin alungthim in amale ama akihou vin, Keima hi kum jakhat kahi nunga mipa kahi thei ding ham? Chule ka inneipi Sarah jong kum som ko le kum ko ahi jouva naosen iti anei thei ding ham? ati.
Then Abraham fell vpon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, Shall a childe be borne vnto him, that is an hundreth yeere olde? and shall Sarah that is ninetie yeere olde beare?

And Abraham saide vnto God, Oh, that Ishmael might liue in thy sight.

Then God saide, Sarah thy wife shall beare thee a sonne in deede, and thou shalt call his name Izhak: and I will establish my couenant with him for an euerlasting couenant, and with his seede after him.
20 Ishmael jong chu phatthei kaboh ding nangman nathum ma bang'a, ama jeng jong hatah a kapun sah ding, chule ama chilhahte ho jong hatah a pung dingu ahi.
And as concerning Ishmael, I haue heard thee: loe, I haue blessed him, and will make him fruitfull, and will multiplie him exceedingly: twelue princes shall he beget, and I will make a great nation of him.
21 Hinlah keima kitepna vang chu Sarah in khovei tulai phat'a hi nahin ding Isaac chuto bou ka phudoh ding ahi,” ati.
But my couenant will I establish with Izhak, which Sarah shall beare vnto thee, the next yeere at this season.
22 Pathen in thu aseijou phat chun Abraham chu adalhatai.
And he left off talking with him, and God went vp from Abraham.
23 Hichun Abraham'in jong achapa Ishmael ahin, asoh pasal ama insunga peng den hihen, sum a achoh tho hi jongle, Abraham mite lah a pasal jouse chu apuikhom in, Pathen'in aseipeh bang bang chun hiche nikho mama chun chep atan peh soh kei in ahi.
Then Abraham tooke Ishmael his sonne and all that were borne in his house, and all that was bought with his money, that is, euery man childe among the men of Abrahams house, and he circumcised the foreskinne of their flesh in that selfe same day, as God had comaunded him.
24 Abraham'in chep akitan chun akum kum som ko le kum ko ana lhing tai.
Abraham also himselfe was ninetie yeere olde and nine, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
25 Chule achapa Ishmael in chep akitan chun kum som le kum thum ana lhing tan ahi.
And Ishmael his sonne was thirteene yeere olde, when the foreskinne of his flesh was circumcised.
26 Ani lhon in Abraham le achapa Ishmael chu nikhat na chep tan lhon gel ahi.
The selfe same day was Abraham circumcised, and Ishmael his sonne:
27 Chule a insunga pasal jouse, insunga pengden hihen lang gam dang mi soh dinga akichoh tho hi jongle aboncha amatoh tha khat'a chep kitan thah cheh ahiuve.
And all the men of his house, both borne in his house, and bought with money of the stranger, were circumcised with him.
