< Ezekiel 17 >

1 Hiti chun kahenga Pakai thusei hiche hi ahung lhunge.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
2 “Mihem chapa, hiche thuchih hi pen lang, Israel mipi techu hiche thusim hi seipeh in.
O son of humankind ask a riddle a riddle and speak a parable a parable concerning [the] house of Israel.
3 Thaneitah Pakaija kon hiche thusei hi pen: ‘Muvanlai lentah khat alhaving teni jong lent ah le amul jong sao tah, amul ho pahbet na kitom khat Lebanon lama ahungin Cedar thing leh vum'a ahung touve.
And you will say thus he says - [the] Lord Yahweh the eagle great great of wings long of pinion full plumage which [belonged] to it variegated plumage it came to Lebanon and it took [the] treetop of the cedar.
4 Chuleh abah asang pen tah chu alou lhan kivei miho chenna khopi khatna apomang tai. Kivei miho chenna khopi a chun aphut tai.
[the] top Shoots its it plucked off and it brought it to a land of merchant[s] in a city of traders it placed it.
5 Aman hiche gam'a kon chun muchi ho chu apon chule leiphatna laikhatna agatun ahi. Thingnem banga akhan theina dingin vadung len panga atun ahi.
And it took one of [the] seed of the land and it put it in a field of seed take [it] at waters many a willow it placed it.
6 Hilaimun nahun ajung akho lut in, lengpigui nem cha bangin akhang dohtai. Abahho chu muvanlai lam ngan ahung khang doh in, chule ajung ho chu tolla chun akhang lut peh tai. Abah lhou tah tah ahin sep doh in ana ahung nou tai.
And it sprouted and it became a vine spreading low of stature to turn branches its to it and roots its under it they were and it became a vine and it produced shoots and it sent out boughs.

And it was an eagle one great great of wings and great of plumage and there! the vine this it bent roots its on it and branches its it sent out to it to water it from [the] beds of planting its.
8 Twi ninglhin namun leh lei phatna munna kiphut ahijeng vang chun, hijeh chun lengpiphung loupi tah khat in ahung khangdoh in chule ana thalhingset leh thei namtwi tah tah ahin sep doh tan ahi.
To a field good to waters many it [was] planted to produce branch[es] and to bear fruit to become a vine of splendor.
9 Hijeh chun tun thaneitah Pakai chun adong tai. Hiche lengpi phung hi khang touva chule phatou cheh cheh ding hinam? Ahipoi keiman ajung le adangho kabodoh a, atheiga ho kasat lhah gam ding, chule ana ho goplha a thidiu ahin, ban thahattah le sepai tamtah jaulouva bailam tah a kabodoh ding ahi.
Say thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh will it prosper? ¿ not roots its will it pull up and fruit its - will it strip off? and it will wither all [the] fresh [things] of growth its it will wither and not by an arm great and by a people numerous to lift up it from roots its.
10 Ahin lengpi phung chu akiphu chon teng leh ahing thei nadem? Ahipoi, goplha ding ahitai. Solam huijin ahinsem teng hoitah a akhan dohna mun chu leiphatah namun hijongleh thiden tante.”
And there! [it is] planted ¿ will it prosper ¿ not when touches it [the] wind of the east will it wither completely on [the] beds of growth its it will wither.
11 Hichun kahenga Pakaija konin hiche thuhi ahung lhunge.
And it came [the] word of Yahweh to me saying.
12 Hiche doumah bol Israel koma seipeh in. Hiche muvanlai thuchih kisei hi nahet doh theilouvu ham? Babylon lengpa hi Jerusalem a hungin tin, amanu lengpa le leng chapate manin tin Babylon a atolmang diu ahi.
Say please to [the] house of rebellion ¿ not do you know what? [are] these [things] say there! he went [the] king of Babylon Jerusalem and he took king its and princes its and he brought them to himself Babylon towards.
13 Aman leng insung mite toh kitepna semin tin chule thahat sanin tahsan umtah kihahselna neipinte. Aman gamsung a lamkai luboh pen pen ho jong galhinga kaimang tante.
And he took one of [the] offspring of royalty and he made with him a covenant and he made go him in an oath and [the] leaders of the land he took.
14 Hijeh a chu Israel chu hung hatdoh kit talou ding chule kile thuh jou talou ding ahitai. Babylon te toh akitepnau vin bou ahinso diu ahitai.
To be a kingdom lowly to not to exalt itself to keep covenant his to continue it.

16 Ahipoi tahbeh mongin keima kahing jinge tin thaneitah Pakaiyin aseije. Akitepna donse louva asuhkeh peh leng vaipo tung doh pa Babylon gamsunga chu Israel lengpa thiden ding ahitai.
[by] [the] life Of me [the] utterance of [the] Lord Yahweh if not in [the] place of the king who made king him whom he despised oath his and whom he broke covenant his with him in [the] midst of Babylon he will die.
17 Pharaoh leh sepai thahattah ho jong Israelte Babylon in Avella galhinga ahin kaija mi tamtah hinkho ahin suhmang dinga konin huhdoh jou pouvin te.
And not with an army large and with a company great he will do with him Pharaoh in battle when pour out a mound and when build a siege-wall to cut off lives many.
18 Ajeh chu Israel lengpan kitepna anot thapma chule akihahsel jou nunga asuhkeh kit jeh a sohcha louhel ding ahi.
And he despised [the] oath by breaking [the] covenant and there! he had given hand his and all these [things] he did not he will escape.
19 Hiche jeh a chu thaneitah Pakai thusei chu hiche hi ahi. Thabeh mongin keima kahinge. Kamma kitah tah a akihahselna leh akitepna ho asuhkeh jeh a keiman ka engbol ding ahi.
Therefore thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh [by] [the] life of me if not oath my which he despised and covenant my which he broke and I will requite it on own head his.
20 Keiman kalen achunga kakhukhuma, kathanga kamat ding ahi. Babylonna kapuilutna keidouna agalmi ho kithopia apanjeh a athu katandiing ahi.
And I will spread over him net my and he will be caught in hunting net my and I will bring him Babylon towards and I will enter into judgment with him there unfaithfulness his which he has acted unfaithfully against me.
21 Chule agal hangsan phapen pen ho jong kidouna munna kithat den diu ahin, ahing doh ho jong hui ninglia kithe thang soh diu ahi. Hiteng chuleh nangin keima Pakaiyin kasei hi nahin hetdoh ding ahi.
And all (fugitives his *Q(K)*) among all troops his by the sword they will fall and the [ones who] survive to every wind they will be scattered and you will know that I Yahweh I have spoken.
22 Hichehi thaneitah Pakai thusei ahi. Cedar thingphung sang tah khat a konna abah khat kalah a chule Israel molsang pen laitah chunga kaphu dong ahi.
Thus he says [the] Lord Yahweh and I will take I from [the] treetop of the cedar high and I will place [it] from [the] top of young shoots its a tender [shoot] I will pluck off and I will plant [it] I on a mountain high and lofty.
23 Hiche chu Cedar thing loupi tah, abah tamtah hin sep doh a, ga ahin sep doh dng ahi. Vacha jat chom chom in buh hin san tin, abah ho lim noija chu kiselna a ahin neidingu ahi.
On [the] mountain of [the] height of Israel I will plant it and it will bear branch[es] and it will produce fruit and it will become a cedar majestic and they will dwell under it every bird every wing in [the] shadow of branches its they will dwell.
24 Chuleh thingphung jousen thingphung sang jouse kasatlhah a thingphung nem ho chu sangtah'a kakhandoh sah a, chuti chu Pakai kahi ti ahetsoh kei diu ahi. Thing ana eng jouse goplhah sah a athiho thah hin sah kit chu keibol ahi tin Pakai keiman kana sei ahin, chule kasei doh sa chu kabol doh ding ahi ati.
And they will know all [the] trees of the field that I Yahweh I bring low - a tree tall I raise up a tree low I make dry a tree moist and I make sprout a tree dry I Yahweh I have spoken and I will act.
