1 Hijeh chun Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseiyin, “Hiche hi phatechan ngaiyin. Pharaoh lengpa koma Pathen tobang'a kasem ding nahiye, chule na sopipa, Aaron, hi nang dia themgaova pang ding ahi.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses—See! I have appointed thee to be God unto Pharaoh, —and, Aaron thy brother, shall be thy prophet!
2 Kathupeh jouse hi Aaron jah'a sei in lang, Aaron in Pharaoh heng'a Israel mite agamsung'a kon'a asol doh nading'a thu apeh tei ding ahi.
Thou, shalt speak all that which I may command thee, and, Aaron thy brother, shall speak unto Pharaoh, and he shall let the sons of Israel go out of his land.
3 Ahinlah Keiman Pharaoh lungthim ka suhtah ding, chuteng melchihna le thil kidang tampi Egypt gamsung'a kapunsah ding ahi.
But, I, will suffer Pharaoh to harden his heart, —so will I multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.
4 Hiche a jong chu Pharaoh in na thu angai lou lai ding ahi. Keiman Egypt gamsung'a ka khut kahin lhanjah ding. Keiman ka thaneina kon - kamite, Israelte - Egypt gam'a kon thutanna gimnei tah pum'a ka huh doh ding ahiuve.
And Pharaoh will not hearken unto you, so will I lay my hand on Egypt, —and bring forth my hosts—my people the sons of Israel out of the land of Egypt, with great judgments.
5 Keiman ka khut ban thahat ka hinlhan'a Israelte kahin puidoh teng, Egypt miten Keima hi Pakai kahi ahin hetdoh diu ahitai.”
And the Egyptians shall know that I, am Yahweh, when I have stretched forth my hand over Egypt, —and brought forth the sons of Israel out of their midst.
6 Chuin Pakai thupeh bang'in Mose leh Aaron injong abol lhon tan, ahi.
And Moses and Aaron did [so], —as Yahweh commanded them, so, did they.
7 Pharaoh heng'a ngehna aganei lai lhon chun, Mose kum somget ahitan, chule Aaron chu kum som get leh kum thum ahitai.
Now Moses, was eighty years old, and, Aaron, eighty-three years old, —when they spake unto Pharaoh.
8 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose leh Aaron heng'ah thu aseiyin,
And Yahweh spake unto Moses and unto Aaron saying:
9 “Pharaoh in ngehna ahin nei ding, ‘thil kidang neivetsah lhonin.' hitobang ahin seiteng, Aaron henga seiyin ‘nateng gol chu la in lang Pharaoh masang laiya chun sep lhan, chuteng gul hung kisoh ding ahi.”
When Pharaoh shall speak unto you saying, Shew for yourselves a wonder, then shalt thou say unto Aaron, Take thy staff, and cast it down before Pharaoh let it become a sea-serpent.
10 Chuin Mose leh Aaron jong Pharaoh heng'a achelhon in Pakai thupeh bang'in abol lhon tai. Aaron in tenggol chu Pharaoh le avaipipo teho angsung'a chun asep lhan ahile, gul ahung kisoh tai!
So Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and did so as Yahweh had commanded, —and Aaron cast down his staff before Pharaoh and before his servants and it became a sea-serpent,
11 Hichun Pharaoh in ama miching ho le doithem ho a koukhom in, Egypt gamma mitphel doithem hon jong chuche tobang chu athemguh un abol'un ahi.
Then called Pharaoh also for the wise men and for the magicians, —and they too, the sacred scribes of Egypt with their secret arts, did in like manner;
12 Atenggol'u tol'a a seplha cheh uvin ahile, amahoa jong gul aki sohtai! Ahinlah Aaron tenggol chun amaho tenggolho chu aval lhum soh tai.
yea they cast down each man his staff, and they became sea-serpents, —but Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staves.
13 Hicheng nung jeng hin jong Pakaiyin asei masat bang chun Pharaoh lungthim chu atah jing nalaiyin, thu ima ngaisah in anei hih laiye.
Then waxed bold the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them, —as spake Yahweh.
14 Chuin Pakaiyin Mose heng'a aseiyin, “Pharaoh lungchang atah in, chule aman mipiho soldoh ding anom naipoi.
Then said Yahweh unto Moses, Dull, is the heart of Pharaoh, —he hath refused to let the people go.
15 Hijeh chun jingkah teng Pharaoh vadung lam'a hung suh teng nangma na che ding. Nile vadung pam'a nadin ding, hikoma chu nakimupi ding ahi. Na tenggol gul kisoh chu kichoi teiyin.
Get thee unto Pharaoh in the morning—lo! he is coming out to the waters, therefore shalt thou station thyself to meet him on the bank of the river, —and the staff which was turned into a serpent, shalt thou take in thy hand.
16 Chuteng akoma hiti hin seiyin, 'Pakai, Hebrew mite Pathen in nakoma thuseiya eihin sol ahi: “Kamite soldoh tan, chuteng amahon gamthip noiya keima eihou na ding uvin.” Tugeiyin, nangman ama thusei iman na ngaisah poi.
Then shalt thou say unto him—Yahweh God of the Hebrews hath sent me unto thee saying, —Let my people go, that they may serve me in the desert, —And lo! thou hast not hearkened hitherto.
17 Hijeh a chu hiche hi Pakaiyin asei ahi: “Keima Pakai kahina ka kilah sah ding ahi.” Vetan! Ka khut'a um tenngol hi mang cha'a Nile twi kajep ding, chu teng vadung hi thisan kisoh ding ahi.
Thus, saith Yahweh, Hereby, shalt thou know that, I, am Yahweh, —Lo! I, am smiting with the staff that is in my hand upon the waters that are in the river and they shall be turned to blood;
18 Asung'a Nga jouse thi ding, chule vadung uilhahel ding, Egypt miten Nile vadung'a kon twi adon thei lou hel diu ahitai,” ati.
and, the fish that is in the river shall die and the river shall be loathsome, —and the Egyptians, shall disdain, to drink water out of the river.
19 Chu jongle Pakaiyin Mose heng ah aseiyin: “Aaron jah a seiyin, 'Na tenggol kimat in lang Egypt gam'a twi jouse chunga na khut jah in lang - vadung jouse, twinah jouse, luikhuh jouse chunga. Twi jouse thisan so sah tan. Egypt gam muntin'a twi jouse, thingtwikong le songkong jouse sunga twi jouse geiya thisan soh ding ahi.'”
And Yahweh said unto Moses, —Say unto Aaron—Take thy staff, and stretch forth thy hand over the waters of Egypt, over their streams over their rivers, and over their pools and over all their collections of water—that they may become blood, —so shall there be blood in all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood and in vessels of stone.
20 Chuin Mose leh Aaron in jong Pakai thupeh bang'in abol lhon tan ahi. Pharaoh le athunei vaihomte hon avet laiyun, Aaron in jong a tenggol ajahdoh'in Nile luidung chu ajep jeng tan ahi. Phulou helouvin, Vadung twi apumpin thisan akisoh hel tan ahi.
And Moses and Aaron, did so, as Yahweh commanded, and he lifted high the staff, and smote the waters which were in the river, before the eyes of Pharaoh, and before the eyes of his servants, —and all the waters which were in the river were turned to blood;
21 Luidunga nga jouse athisoh heltan, chule twi anen behseh phat chun Egypt miten adon thei tapouvin ahi. Egypt gamsung pumpi mun jouse thisan dim ahitai.
and the fish that was in the river, died and the river became loathsome, so that the Egyptians could not drink water out of the river, —thus came it to pass that blood was in all the land of Egypt.
22 Ahivang'in Egypt gam'a mitphel doithem hon jong adoiyu mangchan amahon jong twi thisan asosah uvin ahi. Hijeh chun Pharaoh lungthim chu atah jing nalaiye. Pakaiyin asei bang in Mose leh Aaron thusei chu nahsah in anei hih laiye.
And the sacred scribes of Egypt did in like manner with their secret arts, —so the heart of Pharaoh waxed bold and he hearkened not unto them, as spake Yahweh.
23 Pharaoh jong a leng inpi lam'ah akilen, hicheng thilsoh jouse ho chu alungthim'a gel lut kham asa hih laiye.
Then Pharaoh, turned away, and entered into his house—neither applied he his heart, even to this.
24 Ahin Egypt mite jousen luipang dung alai thuh'un twi akihol le tauvin ahi, ajeh chu amahon Nile luidunga twi chu a donthei tah louvu ahi.
And all the Egyptians digged round about the river for water to drink, —for they could not drink of the water of the river.
25 Pakaiyin Nile luidung ajep kal nisagi alhing tan ahi.
And seven days were fulfilled, —after Yahweh had smitten the river.
