< Danbu Ni Na 23 >

1 Pasal khat chu til lahsa leh hinpi kitansa ahileh pampeiya um ahi. Amapa chu Pakai hou’in sung kikhopna muna hunglut thei talou ding ahi.
HE that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
2 Chule nalah uva kona noti cha jeng jong Pakai houbung sunga jao thei lou ding, khang som changeiya noti chanu—chapa teho chu khat jeng cha jong, Pakai houbung sunga lha thei lou diu ahi.
A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to his tenth generation shall he not enter into the congregation of the Lord.
3 Hitia chu Ammon mite ahin, Moab mite ani lhona Pakai houbung sunga lha theilou diu ahi. Khangsom chan geiya Pakai houbung sunga lutthei lou diu, hichu imatih chana ding ahi.
An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the Lord; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the Lord for ever:
4 Ajeh chu nangho Egypt gamsunga kona nahung potdoh uchun, lampi dunga changlhah leh tuisih neo chan jong nana lamto pouvin ahi. Amavang Mesopotomia gamsunga Pethor muna Beor chapa Balaam chu ana lamhil uvin, achena mun chana dingin aga thah kit un ahi.
Because they met you not with bread and with water in the way, when ye came forth out of Egypt; and because they hired against thee Balaam the son of Beor of Pethor of Mesopotamia, to curse thee.
5 Ahinlah Pakai, Pathen in Balaam thusei chu anahsah pon, Pakai, Pathen in Balaam henga gaosapna aneiyin, chuin nangma ding’in phatthei nan aheidoh tai, ajeh chu Pakai, Pathen in nangma nangai lun ahi.
Nevertheless the Lord thy God would not hearken unto Balaam; but the Lord thy God turned the curse into a blessing unto thee, because the Lord thy God loved thee.
6 Imatih chana nanghon amaho chamlen nading leh ahaosatna diuva lampi ima nasem doh peh thei lou diu ahi.
Thou shalt not seek their peace nor their prosperity all thy days for ever.
7 Amavang Edom mite kiti nolna nanei thei lou diu, nangho dinga na sopiu ahi. Egypt mite jong thetbolna nanei lou diu ahi. Ajeh chu nangho jong Egypt gamsunga ana khopemsa nahiuve.
Thou shalt not abhor an Edomite; for he is thy brother: thou shalt not abhor an Egyptian; because thou wast a stranger in his land.
8 Edom le Egypt mite chengse vang khang thum alhin tengleh, Pakai houbung sunga lhathei diu ahi.
The children that are begotten of them shall enter into the congregation of the Lord in their third generation.
9 Chule namelmateu toh gal kisat dinga nakon doh tenguleh, nangho jong thilse jousea kona na kikangse diu ahi.
When the host goeth forth against thine enemies, then keep thee from every wicked thing.
10 Ajeh chu jankah chun namite lah’a khat touvin botui hinche doh taleh, amapa chu ngahmuna kona pam lama paidoh a um jeng ding, ngahmun sung kitia chu hungvah lut kit lou ding ahitai.
If there be among you any man, that is not clean by reason of uncleanness that chanceth him by night, then shall he go abroad out of the camp, he shall not come within the camp:
11 Nilhah lam tengleh vang ama chu twiya ki sutheng ding, nilhum lam teng ngahmun sunga hung lut thei ding ahi.
But it shall be, when evening cometh on, he shall wash himself with water: and when the sun is down, he shall come into the camp again.
12 Ngahmun polama chu ehkul khat nasem diu, hiche muna chu eh-thaa na cheji diu ahi.
Thou shalt have a place also without the camp, whither thou shalt go forth abroad:
13 Nagal manchah'u poh lah a chu lei-tuhna thei khat naki poh jing diu, ehtha dinga naum tenguleh hiche lei laina achu na leiyuva naeh nathah diu, na thah chai tenguleh hichu leiya nale vuh diu ahi.
And thou shalt have a paddle upon thy weapon; and it shall be, when thou wilt ease thyself abroad, thou shalt dig therewith, and shalt turn back and cover that which cometh from thee:
14 Pakai, Pathen in nangho nahuhdoh diu leh ngahmuna chu nangho huhdoh dinga umjing ahin, hiche naum nau ngahmun chu kisutheng jing ding ahi. Chutileh Pakai, Pathen in naum nau ngamuna chu thil thenglou ima amudoh lou ding, nang hoa kona kihei mang louva na umpi jing diu ahi.
For the Lord thy God walketh in the midst of thy camp, to deliver thee, and to give up thine enemies before thee; therefore shall thy camp be holy: that he see no unclean thing in thee, and turn away from thee.
15 Aneipa akona hung jamdoh soh chu, nanghon aneipa chu namoh peh jeng thei lou'u ahi.
Thou shalt not deliver unto his master the servant which is escaped from his master unto thee:
16 Amatoh chun nachen khom jing diu, hoilai muna hijongleh na khopi sung'uva chu aman adeilhenna mun pena chu nachen sah jeng diu ahi. Chule hiche soh chu nanghon jong achunga gimna ima nalhun sah thei lou diu ahi.
He shall dwell with thee, even among you, in that place which he shall choose in one of thy gates, where it liketh him best: thou shalt not oppress him.
17 Chule Israel insunga kona numei khat jeng cha jong noti a kichem chavei um thei lou ding ahi. Hitobanga chu Israel insung’a pasal hon jong milim semthu doia neiya notia kisa chavei um theilou ding ahi.
There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
18 Ucha kithana man le notia kona man chu Pakai, Pathen henga nahin choidiu nato doh thei lou diu ahi. Ajeh chu hiche teni hi Pakaiya dinga thet umtah ahi.
Thou shalt not bring the hire of a whore, or the price of a dog, into the house of the Lord thy God for any vow: for even both these are abomination unto the Lord thy God.
19 Na sopi khat chu sum thoiya nabat sah theilou diu, napeh'u jongleh hichu athoiya napeh thei lou diu, ipi hi jongleh aneh chan chu bat a ima um thei lou ding ahi.
Thou shalt not lend upon usury to thy brother; usury of money, usury of victuals, usury of any thing that is lent upon usury:
20 Amavang hitobang chu gamchom miho chunga nabol thei diu, ahinlah nasopi kiti pou chunga athoi kiti napeh thei lou diu ahi. Athoi nalah lou'uva ahileh tua nachen lutna diu muna khu Pakai, Pathen in phattheina lhingsela naboh diu ahi.
Unto a stranger thou mayest lend upon usury; but unto thy brother thou shalt not lend upon usury: that the Lord thy God may bless thee in all that thou settest thine hand to in the land whither thou goest to possess it.
21 Pakai, Pathen adia thilkhat peh ding natiuva ahileh hichu napeh ding tenguleh lungkihna ima nanei louhel diu ahi. Ajeh chu Pakai, Pathen in nangho chunga ahin del khum jeng ding, napeh lou'uva ahileh hichu nangho dinga chonset a kisim ding ahi.
When thou shalt vow a vow unto the Lord thy God, thou shalt not slack to pay it: for the Lord thy God will surely require it of thee; and it would be sin in thee.
22 Kitepna nanei lou'uva ahileh hichu chonset a ki sim lou ahi.
But if thou shalt forbear to vow, it shall be no sin in thee.
23 Nakam a nasei dohsau khat chu nabol doh tei nadin ki hambol jing uvin, ajeh chu nangho jong Pakai, Pathen henga kitepna nei puma nakam'uva napot dohsah'u ahitai.
That which is gone out of thy lips thou shalt keep and perform; even a freewill offering, according as thou hast vowed unto the Lord thy God, which thou hast promised with thy mouth.
24 Chule nangho lengpi leiya nachen lut tenguleh nadei chan'u naneh jeng theiyu ahi. Ahinlah neocha jeng jong nasakhao-dip sung'uva naki het lut louhel diu ahi.
When thou comest into thy neighbour’s vineyard, then thou mayest eat grapes thy fill at thine own pleasure; but thou shalt not put any in thy vessel.
25 Na heng nakom pau loulaiya nagache lut tenguleh achangvui chu na kisi theiyu ahi. Amavang, koite mangcha a naheng nakompa changvui chu na-at thei louhel diu ahi.
When thou comest into the standing corn of thy neighbour, then thou mayest pluck the ears with thine hand; but thou shalt not move a sickle unto thy neighbour’s standing corn.
