< Daniel 12 >

1 Chuche nikho leh, namite veng jing’a pang, vantil pipu Michael chu hung kipandoh ding, chutah leh, gim gentheina nasatah phat hung lhung ding ahi. Hitobang phat hahsa chu, mihem khang hung umdoh apat, hiche nikho geiya chu soh khalou hellai ahi. Ahivangin, hiche phat hileh, na mite koi hileh, lekhabua amin kisun chengse vang chu kihuhdoh tei ding ahiuve.
And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.
2 Chuteng leh mikhem tamtah athia kivuisa ho hungthoudoh’untin, mi phabep chu tonsot kemlouva kipana chang’untin, chuleh abang vang chu tonsot’a kijumsona damun chang’a hung thou ding ahiuve.
And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame [and] everlasting contempt.
3 Hichea hin, koi hileh, michingho vang chu, vanthamjol vah banga vah diu chuleh mihem tamtah chondihna lampia heilut hojong chu, van’a ahsite bang’a atonsot’a vah jing ding ahiuve.
And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.
4 Amavang Daniel nangin, hiche gaothu hi imchah inlang, chuleh hiche lekhabu hi khumtup in, phat nunung hunglhun kahin, Mohor namkhum inlang chuleh aguhin koitan. Hiche tah chuleh, mihem chihna leh hetna hungkhang ding, mihemten khonung khoma ding thu holna-a, adung avaija lhaile diu ahi.
But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, [even] to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall be increased.
5 Chuin, Daniel keiman kaven ahileh, michom mini tah vadung pang langkhat cheh’a, adinlhon kamun ahi.
Then I Daniel looked, and, behold, there stood other two, the one on this side of the bank of the river, and the other on that side of the bank of the river.
6 Amani lah’a miklhat chun, tupat ponnem kisil’a vadung twi chunga ana ding jingpa jah’a chun adong in, Hicheng thil kidang ho kichai nading chu, phat itih chan lut ding ham? ati.
And [one] said to the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, How long [shall it be to] the end of these wonders?
7 Hichun tupat ponnem kisil’a, vadung twi chunga ana ding jingpa chun, akhut tenin vanlam asangin, chuleh tonsot’a hing jing Pathen min’in, kihahselna aneijin, aseiye. “Hiche hi kumkhat, kumni chuleh kumkeh khat, hungche nalai ding, chuleh mithengte ahung kithe cheh soh’a, achaina phat ahung lhin teng leh, thil hichengse hi guilhung soh ding ahi,’’ ati.
And I heard the man clothed in linen, which [was] upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that [it shall be] for a time, times, and an half; and when he shall have accomplished to scatter the power of the holy people, all these [things] shall be finished.
8 Keiman amapa thusei chu kajan, ahivangin ipi aseina ham, kahepoi. Hijeh chun, ken jong amapa chu ka dong in, “Kapu thil hicheng jouse hi, achaina ipi hung soh ding ham?” kati.
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what [shall be] the end of these [things]?

And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words [are] closed up and sealed till the time of the end.
10 Mi tamtah hiche patepna thohgimna-a kon’a, kisuthenguva, kisopthengdiu chuleh kithenso ding ahiuve. Amavang, migilouten assetnau boljom jing untin, imacha ahetkhen theilouhel diu ahi. Miching hon vang, ipi kisei ham ti, ahin hetdoh diu ahi.
Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
11 Hitia chu, tanglouva ana kibol jing kilhaina pumgo thilto akisuhtang nia pat chuleh muntheng akisuh boh’a thet umtah misugam houna akitun doh niapat, nikho sangkhat leh jani toh somko lhing ding ahi.
And from the time [that] the daily [sacrifice] shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, [there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days.
12 Chuleh koi hijong leh, akhonna geija nikho sangkhat leh jathum toh somthum leh nga chan ngahdoh’a umho chu, anun nom ahiuve.

But go thou thy way till the end [be: ] for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days.
