And it was the war long between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and David [was] going and strong and [the] house of Saul [were] going and weak.
2 Hichun David in Hebron khopi ah chapa phabep ahingin ahi: apeng masapenpa chu ahileh Amnon ahin amahi Jezreel mi ahinoam in ahinpeh ahi.
(And they were born *Q(K)*) to David sons in Hebron and he was firstborn his Amnon of Ahinoam the Jezreelite [woman].
3 Chule anichan na chapa chu Daniel ahin amahi Carmel khoa Nabal inneipi meithai nu toh ahin lhon ahi. chule athum chan na chu Absalom ahin, Geshur lengpa, Tamai chanu Maacah in ahinpeh ahi.
And [was] second his Kileab (of Abigail *Q(k)*) [the] wife of Nabal the Carmelite and [was] the third Absalom [the] son of Maacah [the] daughter of Talmai [the] king of Geshur.
4 Ali channa chu Adonijah ahin, anu minchu Haggith ahi. chule anga channa chu Abital in ahin Shephatiah ahi.
And [was] the fourth Adonijah [the] son of Haggith and [was] the fifth Shephatiah [the] son of Abital.
5 Chule agup channa chu Ithream ahin, David’s jinu Eglah hin ahi. chapa hichengsehi David in Hebron munna ahin hochu ahi.
And [was] the sixth Ithream of Eglah [the] wife of David these they were born to David in Hebron.
6 David insung le Saul insung mite kah a kidouna aumjing laichun, Abner chu Saul insung mite adin lamkai thahattah ahung hitan ahi.
And it was when was war between [the] house of Saul and between [the] house of David and Abner he was strengthening himself in [the] house of Saul.
7 Nikhat chu ahitin ahi Saul’s chapa Ishbosheth chun Abner chu apa thaikemnu Rizpah kiti Aiah chanu toh chun lumkhom danin angoh tan ahi.
And [belonged] to Saul a concubine and name her [was] Rizpah [the] daughter of Aiah and he said to Abner why? have you gone into [the] concubine of father my.
8 Hichun Abner chu alungsou lheh jengin, “keimahi Judah te uicha bonga hitia pehlele ding kahim?” tin apeng jah jing tan ahi. “Keiman ijakai napa Saul, a insung mite chule aloile gol ho dia kaboldoh jouva nangho jeng jong David khut a kapeh doh lou nahiu vin, nangman hiche numeinu chungchanga kathemmo nading nahol, hiche hiham kachan ding chu? Ati.
And it burned to Abner exceedingly on [the] words of Ish-bosheth and he said ¿ [the] head of a dog [am] I which [belongs] to Judah this day I show loyalty with [the] house of - Saul father your to brothers his and to friend[s] his and not I have delivered you in [the] hand of David and you have visited on me [the] guilt of the woman this day.

Thus may he do God to Abner and thus may he add to him if just as he swore Yahweh to David that so I will do for him.
10 Keima kachi ding Saul’s lenggam chu kalah a David khut a kapeh ding ahi. chule keiman David laltouna Israel le Judah mite chunga katundoh ding hichu sahlam Dan a pat lhanglam Beersheba gei hiding ahi.
To take away the kingdom from [the] house of Saul and to establish [the] throne of David over Israel and over Judah from Dan and to Beer Sheba.
11 Hichun Ishbosheth jong chun thudang aseibe tapon ahi ajeh chu Abner in epi ahinbol ding chu akichat ahi.
And not he was able again to bring back Abner a word because feared he him.
12 Chuin Abner injong sottol le hochu David kom asolin hitin aseisah tai, “gamsung pumpihi nanga hilou ham? Hijeh chun keima toh kitepna sem in, chuti leh keiman Israel mipi jouse hi nangmatoh apankhom nathei diuva kahin kithopi ding nahi, ati.
And he sent Abner messengers - to David (in place of himself *Q(K)*) saying [belongs] to whom? [the] land saying make! covenant your with me and here! hand my [will be] with you to bring round to you all Israel.
13 Chuin David in adonbut in, “aphai,” Ahin kajinu Michal, Saul’s chanu chu nahung teng nahin lepui louleh nangma toh kihaolim na kaneilou ding ahi, ati.
And he said good I I will make with you a covenant only a thing one I [am] asking from with you saying not you will see face my for - except before bring you Michal [the] daughter of Saul when coming you to see face my.

And he sent David messengers to Ish-bosheth [the] son of Saul saying give! wife my Michal whom I betrothed to myself for a hundred foreskins of Philistines.
15 Hijeh chun Ishbosheth injong Michal chu ajipa Palti, Liash chapa akon chun agapuidoh tan ahi.
And he sent Ish-bosheth and he took her from with a husband from with Paltiel [the] son of (Laish. *Q(K)*)
16 Hitichun Paltin jong amanu nung chu Bahurim lamchan kap pumpum in ahinjui peh in, hichun Abner in aja ah, “inlam kinung letan!” ati. Chuin Palti jong inlam akinung le tan ahi.
And he went with her husband her going and weeping after her to Bahurim and he said to him Abner go return and he returned.
17 Hitichun Abner’in Israel upa ho chu akihaolim pin, hitin aseipih tai, “nang hon phatkhat lai a David chu naleng diuva nana dei u hilou ham?”
And [the] word of Abner it was with [the] elders of Israel saying both yesterday as well as [the] third day you were seeking David to king over you.
18 Hijeh chun tuhi aphat ahitai! Ajeh chu Pakaiyin hitin aseiye, “keiman David hi kami Israel te Philistines te khut leh agalmiteu dang jouse akon huhdoh dia kalhen ahitai.”tin.
And therefore act for Yahweh he has spoken to David saying by [the] hand of - David servant my to deliver people my Israel from [the] hand of [the] Philistines and from [the] hand of all enemies their.
19 Chuin Abner in Benjamin mite kom injong agasei kit in, chujouvin Israel mite jouse le, Benjamin miten jong David kithopi ding anupna thu'u gasei din Hebron lam jonin achi tan ahi.
And he spoke also Abner in [the] ears of Benjamin and he went also Abner to speak in [the] ears of David at Hebron all that it was good in [the] eyes of Israel and in [the] eyes of all [the] house of Benjamin.
20 Chuin Abner le amite mi somni Hebron alhun uchun, David in golvah loupi tah abolpin ahi.
And he came Abner to David Hebron and [were] with him twenty men and he made David for Abner and for [the] men who [were] with him a feast.
21 Chujou vin Abner in David kom chun aseiyin, “keima chengting kapu lengpa tosot din Israel mipi jouse gakhom ingting chule amaho leng nahi thei nadin amahon nangma toh kitep na khat sem untin chule nangman amaho jouse chungah nangma lungdei bang tah in vaihom tan,” Ati. Hiti chun David in Abner chu asol tan ahile amapa jong lungmong tah in achitan ahi.
And he said Abner to David let me arise - and let me go and let me gather to lord my the king all Israel so they may make with you a covenant and you will reign over all that it desires self your and he sent away David Abner and he went in peace.
22 Ahinlah David in Abner lungmong tah a asoldoh jou chat chun, Joab le David’s sepai themkhat hochu michom a achi naova kon thil tampi toh ahungkile tha taovin ahi.
And there! [the] servants of David and Joab [was] coming from the raid and plunder much with them they had brought and Abner not he [was] with David in Hebron for he had sent away him and he had gone in peace.
23 Chuin Joab ahung lhunlhun chun, mihon aseipih un Abner chun injo chat chun Lengpa ahungvil in chule ama lungmong tah in akisol doh tai atiu vin ahi.
And Joab and all the army which [was] with him they came and people told to Joab saying he came Abner [the] son of Ner to the king and he has sent away him and he has gone in peace.
24 Chujou vin Joab jong lengpa kom alhaijelin ngehna aganei tan ahi, “nangman epi nabol hitam? epi nabol na a nangman Abner chu lungmong tah a nasol doh jeng hitam? ati.
And he went Joab to the king and he said what? have you done here! he came Abner to you why? this did you send away him and he has gone completely.
25 Nangman kichenin nahenai ama chu nangma umchan kholtoh ding le nathilbol jouse kholtoh dinga hung ahi chu!” ati.
You know Abner [the] son of Ner that to deceive you he came and to know exit your and (entrance your *Q(K)*) and to know all that you [are] doing.
26 Chujou vin Joab’in David chu adalhan asot tolle hochun Abner agamet uva ahin lepui diuvin asol tan ahi. chuin amahon Abner chu Sirah twikul akon ahin lepui un ahi, ahin David in thil umchan emacha ahepoi.
And he went out Joab from with David and he sent messengers after Abner and they brought back him from [the] Cistern of Sirah and David not he knew.
27 Chuin Abner Hebron ahung le lhun tan, hichun Joab’in amachu kelkot phung lamah achanga kihaolimpi ding bang in apuidoh tan ahi. hinlah Abner chun asopipa Asahel phulah nan a oipoh laitah chu asutpih in athat tan ahi.
And he returned Abner Hebron and he turned aside him Joab into [the] middle of the gate (to speak *LA(bh)*) with him in quietness and he struck him there the belly and he died for [the] blood Asah-el brother his.
28 Hitabang thilsoh David in ajahdoh phat chun, hitin thuphon aneitai, “Pakai minna kakitep ahi Ner chapa Abner chungchang thua hi keima le kalenggam eitih a mona neilou kahiuve ati.
And he heard David from after thus and he said [am] innocent I and kingdom my from with Yahweh until perpetuity from [the] blood of Abner [the] son of Ner.
29 Joab le a insung mite jouse themmo changah ahitai. Chule Joab insung mite akon hitabong gaosap na, thisan a long damlouna, tiphah, tenggol kiphu a lamjotna, chemjam a thina chule anneh lhah sam nahohi akhang khang uvin umjing hen.
Let them whirl over [the] head of Joab and to all [the] house of father his and may not he be cut off from [the] house of Joab [one who] suffers a discharge and [one who] has a skin disease and [one who] takes hold on the spindle and [one who] falls by the sword and [one] lacking of bread.
30 Hiti chun Joab le asopipa Abishai in Abner chu athat lhon tan ahi ajeh chu Abner in asopipa lhon Asahel Gibeon galmun na atha jeh ahi.
And Joab and Abishai brother his they killed Abner on that he had killed Asahel brother their at Gibeon in the battle.
31 Chuin David in Joab le aumkhompi hocheng kom achun hitin aseiye, “napon jouseu bot eh unlang khaodip pon jeng kivon un chule Abner adin lunghemmun ati. Chuin leng David amatah jong vuinalam a chi miho nung chu ajuitan ahi.
And he said David to Joab and to all the people which [was] with him tear garments your and gird yourselves sackcloth and mourn before Abner and the king David [was] walking after the bier.
32 Hiti chun Abner chu Hebron munna avui taovin, chule lengpa le mipi jouse chu Abner lhan chungah chun akap tao vin ahi.
And they buried Abner in Hebron and he lifted up the king voice his and he wept to [the] grave of Abner and they wept all the people.
33 Chuin lengpan Abner dingin hiche mithila hi asai: “Abner chu mingol thi a thiding hitam?
And he lamented the king because of Abner and he said ¿ like [the] death of a fool will he die Abner.
34 Nakhut tenila akikan pon; nakeng tenila akisompon. Migilouho kitha bangin nangma naki that tai” atin ahileh, mipi jouse chu Abner adin akapkit uvin ahi.
Hand your not [were] bound and feet your not to bronze fetters they were brought near as falls before sons of injustice you have fallen and they repeated all the people to weep on him.
35 Hiche Abner thi nikho chun nehding jouse David adatan hinlah mipi jouse chu ataovin netei in atiuve. Hinlah David in kitepna asem in, hitin aseiye, “keiman nilhum masanga epi hijong leh kaneh poupouleh Pathen’in isugim henlang tha jong ithat jeng hen, ati.
And it came all the people to make to eat David bread while still day and he swore an oath David saying thus may he do to me God and thus may he add that except before goes the sun I will taste bread or all anything.
36 Hichun mipiho chu alunglhai shah lheh taovin ahi. chule ahimongin, lengpa thilbol jouse chun amaho alunglhai sah un ahi.
And all the people they paid regard and it was good in view their like all that he did the king in [the] eyes of all the people it was good.
37 Hitichun Abner’s kithana chung changa David in pan alahlou dan Judah a um mijouse le Israel mite jousen ahethem taovin ahi.
And they knew all the people and all Israel on the day that that not it was from the king to kill Abner [the] son of Ner.
38 Chuin leng David in a sepai lamkai ho kom chun aseiyin, “tunia Israel sunga lamkai jaumtah khat alhuh hi geldoh lou nahiu ham?
And he said the king to servants his ¿ not do you know that a leader and a great [man] he has fallen the day this in Israel.

And I this day [am] weak and [am] anointed king and the men these [the] sons of Zeruiah [are too] hard for me may he repay Yahweh to [the] doer of the evil according to evil his.
