< 2 Samuel 10 >

1 Hiche jouphat chomkhat jouvin, Ammon mite lengpa Nahash chu athitan, hijeh chun achapa Hanun kitipan Ammon mite chungah lengvai ahinpo tan ahi.
It happened after this, that the king of the people of Ammon died, and Hanun his son reigned in his place.
2 Hichun David’in jong aseiyin, “Nahash chapa Hanun hi apan keima jana neitah a eina bol bang banga ken jong amahi jana neitah a kabol ding ahi,” tin anaseiye. Hijeh chun David’in jong sottolle ho asol’in Hanun chu apa thi jeh a lhem mong din asol peh e. ahin David sottolle ho chu Ammon mite gamsunga aga lhun phat un,
David said, "I will show kindness to Hanun the son of Nahash, as his father showed kindness to me." So David sent by his servants to comfort him concerning his father. David's servants came into the land of the people of Ammon.
3 Ammon mite lamkai hon apupau Hanun koma chun aseiyuvin, ‘Nangman nagelthei mong hinam hiche mihohi napa jabol dinga hichemun hung ahi tia? Ahipoi! David’in khopi hi hunga suhgam ding agot jeh a sottolle hohi khopi sung kholtoh leh velhi le dinga ahinsol ahibouve tin aseipeh tauve.
But the leaders of the people of Ammon said to Hanun their lord, "Do you think that David honors your father, in that he has sent comforters to you? Hasn't David sent his servants to you to search the city, and to spy it out, and to overthrow it?"
4 Hijeh chun Hanun hin David sottolle ho chu abonchauvin aman in melse tah in akhamul akeh langkhat avo chaipeh soh keiyin, chule aponsilu le akivon nau akimlai tah akongbuh dontah achetan peh soh keijun jachat umtah in anungsol taovin ahi.

The rest of the people he committed into the hand of Abishai his brother; and he put them in array against the people of Ammon.
11 Chuin Joab’in aseitai, “Arameans mite hi Keima dinga ahat behseh jenguva ahileh nangman neihung kithopin lang, chule Ammon mite chu nang dinga ahatval behseh jenguva ahijongle keima hung ing ting nahung kithopi nange, ati.
He said, "If the Arameans are too strong for me, then you shall help me; but if the people of Ammon are too strong for you, then I will come and help you.
12 Hijeh chun hangtah in hung pang uvin lang, imiteu ding leh i-Pathen’u khopi jouse din pasal jouse chu hatah in pangu hitin; chule Pakaiyin lungdei chu guilhung tahen,”ati.
Be courageous, and let us be strong for our people, and for the cities of our God; and Jehovah do that which seems good to him."
13 Hiti hin Joab le ama toh pang khom sepaiho chun Arameans mite chu asat pan un ahileh; Arameans mite chu ajamcheh gam tauvin ahi.
So Joab and the people who were with him drew near to the battle against the Arameans: and they fled before him.

The Arameans fled before Israel; and David killed of the Arameans seven hundred charioteers, and forty thousand foot soldiers, and struck Shobach the captain of their army, so that he died there.
19 Chuin Lengte jousen Hadadezer toh akitho vang uva Israel te ajolou u amudoh phat un, Israel mite khut ah akipelut un amaho noijah aum taovin ahi. hichejou a pet chun Arameans mite chun Ammon mite kithopi ding chu akicha taovin ahi.
When all the kings who were servants to Hadadezer saw that they were defeated before Israel, they made peace with Israel, and served them. So the Arameans feared to help the people of Ammon any more.
