1 kum sagi channa a chun Jehoiada in adinmun akisuhdet nin sepai jakhat toh lamkai hochutoh akinoptouvin amahochu Jehoram chapa Azariah, Jehohanan chapa Ishmael, Obed chapa Azariah, Adaizah chapa Maaseiah chuleh Zikri chapa Elishaphat ahiove

And in the year seventh he strengthened himself Jehoiada and he took [the] commanders of the hundreds to Azariah [the] son of Jeroham and to Ishmael [the] son of Jehohanan and to Azariah [the] son of Obed and with Maaseiah [the] son of Adaiah and with Elishaphat [the] son of Zikri with himself in covenant.

2 Amahohi Judah khopi ho jousea acheovin Levite phung nga phung upacheh Jerusalemma ahin puilutnun ahi

And they went around in Judah and they gathered the Levites from all [the] cities of Judah and [the] heads of the fathers of Israel and they came to Jerusalem.

3 Amaho houin nachun akikhom mun lengpa chapa Joash chutoh kitepna ana semmun ahi. Jehoiada chun amaho kommah anaseijin: “Ilahuva hin lengpan athingel chapa chu aummin ahi! amahi Pakai thutep dung jui'a David chilhah ahi dung jui'a leng ichan sah diu ahi.

And it made all the assembly a covenant in [the] house of God with the king and he said to them here! [the] son of the king he will reign just as he spoke Yahweh on [the] sons of David.

4 Hitia hi iboldiu ahi, thempu holeh Levi techu choldonia akinnu tonga ahung tenguleh hopthumma hopkhatnin houin kelkot ho angadiu ahi,

This [is] the thing which you will do the third [part] of you [who] come of the sabbath to the priests and to the Levites [will become] [the] gatekeepers of the thresholds.

5 Adang hopthumma hopkhat chun leng inpi angading, chuleh hopthumma hopkhatman kulpi bul kelkot phung nangadiu, chutengleh mipi abonchaova Pakai houin mai hong cha –a chu kikhom ding ahiove

And the third [part] [will be] at [the] house of the king and the third [part] [will be] at [the] gate of the foundation and all the people [will be] in [the] courts of [the] house of Yahweh.

6 Ahinlah Pathen insunga chu Pakai kinbol Levite toh thempu akiseiho tailou adang hunglut thei louding ahi, amahochu houinsung nga luttheidiu ahi ajeh chu ama hochu atheng ahiove, ahinla adanghose chun Pathen thupeh ngah a apamma dingdiu ahiove

And may not anyone go [the] house of Yahweh that except the priests and those [who] are serving of the Levites they they will go for [are] holiness they and all the people they will keep [the] duty of Yahweh.

7 Chuleh Levitechun lengpa chu aum kimveldiu akhutnuvah manchah akichoi chehdiu ahin insung hunglut jouse chu athadiu ahi. nanghon lengpa ahung lut hihen apotdoh hijongleh nakilhon pidingu ahi

And they will surround the Levites the king all around each man and weapons his in hand his and the [one who] comes into the house he will be put to death and be with the king when comes he and when goes out he.

8 Hitichun Levite leh Juda ten thempupa Jehoiada thupeh bang bang chun achontaovin ahi. Lamkai khatcheh chun anoija hochu akipuijun cholngah nileh akinnuva akimanchah petnu hihenlang aonpetnu hijongleh aumpi jingun ahi, ajeh chu thempupa Jehoiada in sepai hochu alha ongpon ahi.

And they did the Levites and all Judah according to all that he had commanded Jehoiada the priest and they took each men his [who] were coming of the sabbath with [who] were going out of the sabbath for not he dismissed Jehoiada the priest the divisions.

9 Chuleh Jehoiada thempupa chun sepai aja ajalah a lamkai hochu Pathen houinna um ompho holeh tengcha hochu ahop pehin ahi

And he gave Jehoiada the priest to [the] commanders of the hundreds the spears and the shields and the shields which [had belonged] to the king David which [were] [the] house of God.

10 Hitichun aman sepai hochu Houin kotmai vella chun chemjam dodohsan akichoisah in lengpa hoibitna dinga chun phasademmin pan alahsahin ahi

And they brought out [the] son of the king and they put on him the crown and the testimony and they made king him and they anointed him Jehoiada and sons his and they said may he live the king.

12 Athaliah chun lengpa thangvahna a kisam mipi Ogin husan chu ajah phatnin mipi dimsetna akikhopnao houinna chun ahung lhailutnin ahi.

And she heard Athaliah [the] sound of the people who were running and who were praising the king and she came to the people [the] house of Yahweh.

13 Amanun agahven ahileh lengthah pachu Houin lutna khombul panga sepai lamkai holeh sumkon muthon ana umkimvel chu amun ahi. Ama lengchanna –a alopnaoleh akipapinao ogin chuleh semjang saipumma lasaholeh sumkon mutho ogin chu akithong jeju jengin ahi, hichun amanun asangkhol abot eh jengin, hiche hi “Lengmun chuna ahi, Lengmun chuna ahi” tin asamtaan ahi

And she saw and there! the king [was] standing at pillar his at the entrance and the officials and the trumpets [were] with the king and all [the] people of the land [was] joyful and [was] giving a blast on trumpets and the singers with [the] instruments of song [were] leading to praise and she tore Athaliah clothes her and she said treason treason.

14 Hichun Jehoiada thempupan amanuchu Houin sunga akitha ding chu adeipon hijeh chun sepai lamkai hochu aseipeh in “Amanu chu polanga kaidoh unlang koi hijongleh ama chu huhdoh go a umleh that jengun ati”

And he sent out Jehoiada the priest [the] commanders of the hundreds - [the] officers of the army and he said to them bring out her to from between the ranks and the [one who] goes after her he will be put to death with the sword for he had said the priest not you must put to death her [the] house of Yahweh.

15 Amahon amanuchu aman nun leng inpia apuijun sakol kelkot komma chun athat taovin ahi

And they put to her hands and she went to [the] entrance of [the] gate of the horses [the] house of the king and they put to death her there.

16 Jehoiada thempupan Joash lengpa leh mipite chu akoukhomin Pakai mite ahijing nadiuvin kitepnakhat anei pitaan ahi

And he made Jehoiada a covenant between himself and between all the people and between the king to become a people of Yahweh.

17 Hijouchun Baal houinnah acheovin ajeplhu gamtaovin ahi. Amahon semthu Pathen holeh amaichamho jong avochip gamun Baal thempupa Mattan jong amaicham maijachun athat taovin ahi

And they went all the people [the] house of Baal and they pulled down it and altars its and images its they broke and Mattan [the] priest of Baal they killed before the altars.

18 Jehoiada in thempu holeh Levi techu Pakai houin na natoh na –a mopohna apen ahi. Amahohin Leng David nin angansenao kinhochu atohdiu Mose daan semtoh kitoh a Pakaiyin pumgo thilto gimnamtwi halnamna kin jong atohdiu ahi. amahohin tumging tothon golnop bolnajong mopohna alahdiu ahi

And he put Jehoiada [the] oversight of [the] house of Yahweh in [the] hand of the priests the Levites whom he had assigned David over [the] house of Yahweh to offer up [the] burnt offerings of Yahweh according to [what] is written in [the] law of Moses with joy and with song on [the] hands of David.

19 Jehoiada in houin sunga hi miboh ho ahung lut louna ding avesuidingin houin kelkotna angahding akoijin ahi

And he stationed the gatekeepers at [the] gates of [the] house of Yahweh and not he came a [person] unclean to any matter.

20 Hitichun Jehoiada in sepai lamkaiho leh gamsunga mithupiho, gamvaipoholeh mihonpi ahinpuijin, chuin houinna kon in lengpachu ahinpuidohin kelkkot sahlang pa achun alutnun leng in chu ajonlutnin, lengpa chu aleng gam laltouna a atousah taovin ahi

And he took [the] commanders of the hundreds and the nobles and the rulers over the people and - all [the] people of the land and he brought down the king from [the] house of Yahweh and they came in [the] middle of [the] gate upper [the] house of the king and they made sit the king on [the] throne of royalty.

21 Hichun gamsung mipite chu kipana leh thanop na – a adimsetnun chuleh khopi jong alung mong mongtaan ahi

And they rejoiced all [the] people of the land and the city it was at peace and Athaliah they had put to death with the sword.
