Then came the word of Yahweh unto Jehu
2 “Keiman nangma hi vutvai lah’a kona katundoh a kami Israelte chunga vaihom’a ka pansah nahi, ahinlah nangin Jeroboam setna lampi najuijin nangin jong Israelte hi na chonset sah’in ka lung nahan sah tan ahi.
son of Hanani, against Baasha, saying: Forasmuch as I exalted thee out of the dust, and gave thee to be leader over my people Israel, —and yet thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and caused, my people Israel, to sin, provoking me to anger with their sins,
3 Hijeh chun keiman Nebat chapa Jeroboam chilhahte ka suhmang bang’a nangle na insung mite jong ka suhmang ding ahi.
Behold me! consuming after Baasha, and after his house, —and I will deliver up thy house, like the house of Jeroboam son of Nebat:
4 Baasha insung mite khopi sunga thiden hochu, uicha ten aneh diu, gam lah a thiho chu muthong ten aneh diu ahi,” ati.
Him that dieth of Baasha in the city, shall, the dogs, eat, and, him that dieth of his in the field, shall, the birds of heaven, eat.
5 Baashan vai ahom sunga thilsoh ho chu leh aman a thanei na a ana tohdoh ho Israelte thusimbu kijihna lekhabua aum in ahi.

6 Baasha athi phat chun, Tirzah munah avui tauvin ahi. Hijouchun achapa Elah chu ama khel in leng ahung changtan ahi.
So Baasha slept with his fathers, and was buried in Tirzah, —and, Elah his son, reigned, in his stead.
7 Hanani chapa themgao Jehu mangchan, Pakaiyin Baasha leh a insung mite dounan thu ana seijin ahi. Baasha in Jeroboam leh a insung miten atohbang bang’a Pakai doumah ana boljeh a agihna thuhi ana peh ahin, chu leh hiche Baasha hin Jeroboam insung mite aboncha ana thagam ahi. Pakai lunghan na chu Baashan chunga ana deojah jengin ahi.
Moreover also, through Jehu son of Hanani the prophet, the word of Yahweh, came against Baasha and against his house, even because of all the wickedness that he had done in the eyes of Yahweh, provoking him to anger with the work of his hands, becoming like the house of Jeroboam, —notwithstanding that he smote him.
8 Asa lengpan Judahh mite lah’a vai apoh kum somni le gup channan, Baasha chapa Elah hin Israel chunga vai ahin hompan tan ahi. Aman Tirzah khopia kum ni vai ana hom in ahi.
In the twenty-sixth year of Asa king of Judah, began Elah son of Baasha to reign over Israel, in Tirzah, [and he reigned] two years.

Then conspired against him his servant Zimri, captain of half the chariots, —as he was in Tirzah drinking himself drunk, in the house of Arza, who was over the household in Tirzah.
10 Zimri chu avahlut’in asat lhun athat tai. Hiche hi Asa lengpan Judahh mite lah’a alengchan kum somni le sagi alhinna thilsoh ahi. Hichun Zimri chu leng ahung chang tan ahi.
And Zimri went in, and smote him and slew him, in the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, —and reigned in his stead.
11 Zimri hin Baashan insung mite jouse gangtah in ana that jou keijin pasal chapang neokhat cha jeng jong ana hinghoi tapon ahi. Aman a insung lamdol a aki naipi behseh jong hilou chuleh agol apaiho kisan ana that’in ahi.
And it came to pass, when he began to reign, as soon as he sat on his throne, that he smote all the house of Baasha, he left him not even the meanest, —neither of his kinsfolks, nor of his friends.
12 Hiti hin Pakaiyin Jehu themgao mangcha’a ana phondohsa bangin, Zimri hin Baasha chilhah ho jouse jong ana sumang soh tan ahi.
Thus did Zimri destroy all the house of Baasha, —according to the word of Yahweh which he spake unto Baasha, through Jehu the prophet;
13 Hiche thilsoh hi Baasha leh achapa Elah chonset jeh leh Israel achonset sah lhon jeh ahi. Hitia hi manlou semthu doilim ho jeh’a Pakai Israel Pathen chu ana suh lunghang’u ahi.
as to all the sins of Baasha, and the sins of Elah his son, —wherewith they sinned, and wherewith they caused, Israel, to sin, provoking to anger Yahweh God of Israel, with their vanities.
14 Elah vaihom sunga thilsoh ho leh ana tohdoh ho jouse chu Israel lengte thusimbu’a aki jih lut soh kei jin ahi.

15 Judahh gam'a Asa’in lengvai apohna kum somni le sagi lhinkum hin, Israel pumpia Zimri in vai ahin hom in ahinlah Tirzah khopia ni sagi bou vai ana homin ahi. Israel sepaiten Philistine khopi Gibbethon chu ana no khum un ahi.
In the twenty-seventh year of Asa king of Judah, did Zimri reign, seven days in Tirzah, —but, the people, were encamped against Gibbethon, which belonged to the Philistine.
16 Amahon Zimri in kitahlou tah in lengpa athat tai tithu ajah phat un, hiche nikho mama chun sepai lamkai Omri chu Israelte Leng dingin ana lhengdoh tauvin ahi.
When therefore the people who were encamped, heard say, Zimri hath conspired, moreover also, he hath smitten the king, all Israel made Omri, general of the army, king over Israel, on that day, in the camp.
17 Hitichun Omri in Israel galmi pumpi chu ahin lamkaijin Gibbethon na konin Tirzah ahin nokhum tauvin ahi.
So Omri, and all Israel with him, went up from Gibbethon, —and laid siege against Tirzah.
18 Zimri chun khopi chu alatai ti ahetphat un, hiche khopia chun achen amale ama meikong akihal khumin athi tan ahi.
And it came to pass, when Zimri saw that the city was captured, that he entered into the citadel of the house of the king, —and burned over him the house of the king, with fire, and died:
19 Ajeh chu ama jong hin, Pakai mitmu’n thilse jeng ana bol’in ahi. Aman jong Jeroboam in Israelte ana chonset sah tobang chun ana chepin ahi.
because of his sins which he committed by doing the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —by walking in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin which he committed, by causing, Israel, to sin.
20 Zimri vaihom sunga thilsoh holeh aman dan dihlou tah’a na anatoh naho jouse Israel lengte thusimbu’a aki jih lutsoh keijin ahi.
Now, the rest of the story of Zimri, and his conspiracy wherein he conspired, are, they, not written in the book of the Chronicles of the Kings of Israel?
21 Ahinlah tuhin Israelte kehni akiso tauvin ahi. Mipi akeh khat’in Ginath chapa Tibni chu achung'uva lenga pang din adei jun ahinlah akeh khat in Omri joh chu adei jun ahi.
Then, were the people of Israel divided, —half the people, were following Tibni son of Ginath, to make him king, and, half, following Omri.
22 Ahin Omri deiho chun Tibni deiho chu ajou tauvin ahi. Hichun Tibni chu athat tauvin Omri joh chun lengmun ahinlo tan ahi.
But, the people that followed Omri, prevailed against, the people that followed Tibni son of Ginath; so that, Tibni, died, and, Omri, reigned.
23 Judah gam'a Asa leng chan kum somthum le khat alhin chun, Omri in Israelte lah a vai ahin hompan tan ahi. Aman kum som le ni vai ana hom in kum gup chu Tirzah a ana pansan ahi.
In the thirty-first year of Asa king of Judah, began Omri to reign over Israel [and he reigned] twelve years: in Tirzah, reigned he six years.
24 Hijou chun Omri in tua Samaria kiti thinglhang gam chu aneipa Shemer a konin dangka sangkhat le ja nga ape in ana kichoh doh in ahi. Aman hichu khopi khat in ana semin aneipa Shemer akonin Samaria ana sah ahi.
And he bought the hill Samaria, of Shemer, for two talents of silver, —and built on the hill, and called the name of the city which he built, after the name of Shemer lord of the hill—Samaria.
25 Ahinlah Omri in ama masanga lengvaipo ho jouse sangin Pakai Pathen mitmun thilse ngen chang anabol in ahi.
And Omri did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —and did more wickedly than all who were before him;
26 Aman jong Nebat chapa Jeroboam chonsetna jousea Israelte ana chonset sah bangin ama jong hiti hin ana chonin ahi. Mipiten pannabei milim ana hou uvin Israel Pathen chu ana lunghan sah tauvin ahi.
yea he walked in all the way of Jeroboam son of Nebat, and in his sin wherewith he caused, Israel, to sin, —provoking to anger Yahweh, God of Israel, with their vanities.
27 Omri vaihom sunga thilsoh dangho chuleh a thaneina chuleh ana tohdoh ho jouse chu Israel lengte thusimbu a chun aki jihlut sohkei jin ahi.

28 Omri chu athi phat in, Samaria munna ana vuijun ahi. Ama banin achapa Ahab chun lengmun ahinlo tan ahi.
So Omri slept with his fathers, and was buried in Samaria, —and, Ahab his son, reigned, in his stead.
29 Judahh gam'a Asa leng chan kum somthum le get ahung lhin chun, Omri chu Israelte lengmun ahinlo pantan ahi. Aman Samaria mun’ah kum somni le ni sungin vai ahin hom’in ahi.
Now, Ahab son of Omri, began to reign over Israel, in the thirty-eighth year of Asa king of Judah, —and Ahab son of Omri reigned over Israel, in Samaria, twenty-two years.
30 Omri chapa Ahab hin Pakai mitmun thilse jeng ahin bol’in, ama masang’a lengho jouse sangin thilse joh ahin boldoh in ahi.
And Ahab son of Omri did the thing that was wicked in the eyes of Yahweh, —and did more wickedly than all that were before him.
31 Aman Jeroboam thilse bolchu anung ajui keu hilouvin, Sidon lengpa Ethbaal chanu Jezebel chu ana kichenpin Ba-al doi chu ana houtan ahi.
And it come to pass, as though it had been too light a thing that he should walk in the sins of Jeroboam son of Nebat, that he took to wife Jezebel, daughter of Ethbaal, king of the Zidonians, and went and served Baal, and bowed down to him.
32 Amasan Ahab in Samaria mun ah Ba-al doi phung leh houin ana tungdoh in ahi.
And he reared an altar unto Baal, —in the house of Baal, which he built in Samaria.
33 Hijou chun aman Asherah doiphung ana tungdoh kit’in, hiti hin aman ama masanga leng dangho sangin Pakai Israel Pathen chu ana phin lunghang pen in ahi.
And Ahab made the Sacred Stem, —and Ahab did yet more to provoke to anger Yahweh God of Israel than all the kings of Israel who were before him.
34 Ahab lengvai poh laitah in, Bethel akonin Hiel kitipa in Jericho ahin sempha kittan ahi. Aman inbulkhom aphudoh nin achapa tah pen Abiram kiti pa chun a hinkho alha tan ahi.
