1 Judah chapate chu Perez, Hezron, Carmi, Hur, chule Shobal ahiuve.
The sonnes of Iudah were Pharez, Hezron, and Carmi, and Hur, and Shobal.
2 Shobal chapa Reaiah kitipa hin Jahath ahingin, jahath hin Ahumai le Lahad ahingin ahi. Hichengse hi Zorath insung mite jeng ahiuvin ahi.
And Reaiah the sonne of Shobal begat Iahath, and Iahath begate Ahumai, and Lahad: these are the families of the Zoreathites.
3 Atam chapate chu Jezreel, Ishma, Idbash, chule asopinu Hazzelelponi, Gedor hingpa,
And these were of the father of Etam, Izreel, and Ishma and Idbash: and the name of their sister was Hazelelponi.
4 Penuel, chule Hushah hingpa Ezer ahiuve. Mi hicheng hi Bethlehem hingpa Ephrathah chapa apeng masapen Hur son achilhah ho ahiuvin ahi.
And Penuel was the father of Gedor, and Ezer the father of Hushah: these are the sonnes of Hur the eldest sonne of Ephratah, the father of Beth-lehem.
5 Tekoa pa Ashur chun ji ni anei in Amani chu Helah le Naarah ahilhone.
But Asher the father of Tekoa had two wiues, Heleah, and Naarah.
6 Naarah hin Ahuzzam, Hepher, Temeni, chule Haahashtari ahingin ahi.
And Naarah bare him Ahuzam, and Hepher, and Temeni and Haashtari: these were the sonnes of Naarah.
7 Helah chun Zereth, Izhar, Ethnan,
And the sonnes of Heleah were Zereth, Iezohar and Ethnan.
8 Chule Anub pa Koz, Zobedah le Harum chapa Aharshel insung mite chengse chu ahingin ahi.
Also Coz begate Anub, and Zobebah, and the families of Aharhel the sonne of Harum.
9 Jebez kitipa ji asopite dang dang sanga agunchu jeh’in anun jong, amahi nat chung nunga kahin ahi tin amin Jabez asah’in ahi.
But Iabez was more honourable then his brethren: and his mother called his name Iabez, saying, Because I bare him in sorowe.
10 Jabez hi Israel Pathen henga ataovin hiti aseiye, “O Pathen, nangin keima phathei neiboh tei teiyin lang, neikaile jing jengin lang, chule hahsatna le gentheina jousea kon’in neichom khen jing jengin,” atin ahi. Hichun hiche ataona hi Pathen’in anop peh tai.
And Iabez called on the God of Israel, saying, If thou wilt blesse me in deede, and enlarge my coastes, and if thine hand be with me, and thou wilt cause me to be deliuered from euill, that I be not hurt. And God graunted the thing that he asked.
11 Shuhah sopipa Kelub chun Mehir anahingin, Mehir chun Eshton ahingin,
And Chelub the brother of Shuah begate Mehir, which was the father of Eshton.
12 Eshton chun Bethrapha, Paseah, chule Tehinnah ahingin ahi. Tehinnah chun Irnahash ahingin ahi. mihem hichengse hi Recah son achilhah ahiuve.
And Eshton begate Beth-rapha, and Paseah, and Tehinnah the father of the citie of Nahash: these are the men of Rechah.
13 Kenaz chapate ni chu Othniel le Seraiah ahilhonin ahi. Othniel chapate ni chu Hathath le Meonothai ahilhone.
And the sonnes of Kenaz were Othniel and Zeraiah, and the sonne of Othniel, Hathath.
14 Meonothai chun Ophrah ahingin, chule Seraiah chun Geharashim pa Joab ahingin ahi; amaho hi khut them thing thembol mi ahiuve.
And Meonothai begate Ophrah. And Seraiah begate Ioab the father of the valley of craftesmen: for they were craftesmen.
15 Jephunneh chapa Caleb chapate chu Iru le Elah toh Naam ahiuve; chutengle Elah chapa chu Kenaz ahi.
And the sonnes of Caleb the sonne of Iephunneh were Iru, Elah, and Naam. And the sonne of Elah was Kenaz.
16 Jehallelel chapate chu Ziph, Ziphah, Tiria, chule Asarel ahiuvin ahi.
And the sonnes of Iehaleel were Ziph, and Ziphah, Tiria, and Asareel.
17 Ezreah chapate chu Jether, Mered, Epher, chule Jalon ahiuvin. Mereh jinu ho lah’a mi khat’in Meriam le Shammai toh Eshtemoa pa Ishba ahinpeh-in ahi.
And the sonnes of Ezrah were Iether and Mered, and Epher, and Ialon, and he begate Miriam, and Shammai, and Ishbah the father of Eshtemoa.
18 Chujongle Mered hin Judah numei khat jong akichenpi’in, amanun Gedor pa Jered ahingin, Soco pa Heber ahingin, chule Zanoah pa Jekuthiel jong anahingin ahi. Mered chun Pharaoh channu Bithia kitinu jong ana kichenpi’in, chule amanun jong chapa phabep ahinpeh-in ahi.
Also his wife Iehudiiah bare Iered the father of Gedor, and Heber the father of Socho, and Iekuthiel the father of Zanoah: and these are the sonnes of Bithiah ye daughter of Pharaoh which Mered tooke.
19 Hodiah jinu chu Naham sopinu anahi. Amanu chapa lah’a khat chu keilah kho’a Garm mite pa ahin, chule khat pachu Eshtomoa mi Maacath miho pa ahi.
And the sonnes of the wife of Hodiah, the sister of Naham the father of Keilah were the Garmites, and Eshtemoa the Maachathite.
20 Shimon chapate chu Amnon le Rinnah toh, Ben-hanan le Tilon ahiuve. Ishi chapte ni chu Zoheth le Ben-Zoheth ahilhone.
And the sonnes of Shimon were Amnon and Rinnah, Ben-hanam and Tilon. And the sonnes of Ishi were Zoheth, and Benzoheth.
21 Shelah kitipa hi Judah chapate ho lah’a mi khat anahi. Shelah son achilhah ho chu Lecah pa Er; Mareshah pa Laasah; chule Beth-Ashbea kho’a tupat pon khonga pang insung mite toh;
The sonnes of Shelah, the sonne of Iudah were Er the father of Lecah, and Laadah the father of Mareshah, and the families of the householdes of them that wrought fine linnen in the house of Ashbea.
22 Jokim; Cozeba mite le Joash chule Jashubi-Lehem le Moab gamsunga vaipoa anapang Sraph ahiuvin ahi. mi hijat le abonchauva amin nu chu khanglui laipeh’a athusim mu kisutna lekhahoa ana kisunlut peh ahitai.
And Iokim and the men of Chozeba and Ioash, and Saraph, which had the dominion in Moab, and Iashubi Lehem. These also are auncient things.
23 Amaho chengse hi bel denga pang ho, Netaim le Gederah kho’a cheng ahiuve. Hichea hi amaho hi cheng khom’uva lengpa natonga pang ji ahiuve.
These were potters, and dwelt among plants and hedges: there they dwelt with the king for his worke.
24 Simeon chapate chu Jemuel, Jamin, Jarib, Zohar, chule Shaul ahiuve.
The sonnes of Simeon were Nemuel, and Iamin, Iarib, Zerah, and Shaul,
25 Shaul son achilhah ho chu Shallum le Mibsam, chule Mishma toh ahiuve.
Whose sonne was Shallum, and his sonne, Mibsam, and his sonne Mishma.
26 Mishma son achilhah ho chu achapa Hammuel ahin; Hammuel chapa Zaccur ahin; chule Zaccur chapa Shimei ahi.
And the sonnes of Mishma, Hamuel was his sonne, Zacchur his sonne, and Shimei his sonne.
27 Shimei hin chapa som le gup jen ahingin, chule chanu gup ahinge; ahinlah asopi pasal dang vang cha tamnei aum pouvin ahi. Hijehchun, Simeon insung mite hi Judah insung mite bangin apung thei mong mong pouve.
And Shimei had sixteene sonnes, and sixe daughters, but his brethren had not many children, neither was all their familie like to the children of Iudah in multitude.
28 Amaho hi Beersheba le moladah, Hazar-Shaul,
And they dwelt at Beer-sheba, and at Moladah, and at Hazar Shual,
29 Bilhah le Ezem Tolad dunga achenguvin,
And at Bilhah, and at Ezem, and at Tolad,
30 Bethuel, Hormah, Ziklag,
And at Bethuel, and at Hormah, and at Ziklag,
31 Beth-Marcoboth, Hazarsusim, Beth-biri, chule Shaaraim dunga jong acheng uve.
And at Beth-marcaboth, and at Hazar Susim, at Beth-birei, and at Shaaraim, these were their cities vnto the reigne of Dauid.
32 David lengvaipoa ahung pan masanga kho hijat hi amaho thuneina noiya um ngen ahiuve. Amaho son achilhah hochu Etam, Ain, Rimmon, Token, chule Ashan pumin khopi nga,
And their townes were Etam, and Ain, Rimmon, and Tochen, and Ashan, fiue cities.
33 Chule kimvel dunga akhobah chengse chutoh Baalath mun chan geiyin jong achenguvin ahi. Hicheng hi amaho chenna mun ahin, chuleh, hiche min chengse ho hi amaho khanggui kisimna lekhabua ana kisun lut’ah ahi.
And all their townes that were rounde about these cities vnto Baal, These are their habitations and the declaration of their genealogie,
34 Simeon son achilhah dang hochu Meshobab, Jamlech, chule Amaziah chapa Joshah,
And Meshobab, and Iamlech, and Ioshah the sonne of Amashiah,
35 Joel le Joshibiah chapa Jehu toh, Seraiah chapa ahin, Asiel chapa ahin,
And Ioel and Iehu the sonne of Ioshibiah, the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Asiel,
36 Elioenai ahin, Jaakobah ahin, Jeshohaiah ahin, Asaiah ahin, Adiel ahin, Jesimiel ahin, Benaiah ahin,
And Elionai, and Iaakobah, and Ieshohaiah, and Asaiah, and Adiel, and Iesimiel, and Benaiah,
37 Chule Shiphi chapa Ziza ahin, Allon chapa ahin, Jedaiah chapa ahin, Shimri chapa ahin, chule Shemaiah chapa ahi.
And Ziza the sonne of Shiphei, the sonne of Allon, the sonne of Iedaiah, the sonne of Shimri, the sonne of Shemaiah.
38 Tua amin cheh’a kisimdoh hohi Simeon insunga ama ama kailhah cheh’a haosa chapate cheh ahiuvin; apu apau insung dungjui cheh in jong nasatah in aphatheiyuvin akhangtou theilheh jenguve.
These were famous princes in their families, and increased greatly their fathers houses.
39 Chule amaho hi Gerar gamkai langa akitol’uvin, phaicham gam'a niso lam geiyin jong acheuvin, akelngoi hon teu din hamhing um umna ahol’uvin ahi.
And they went to the entring in of Gedor, euen vnto the East side of the valley, to seeke pasture for their sheepe.
40 Hikoma chun amahon gam phatah, hamhing thalhinna gam len tah, chule chamlenna le lung mong tah’a chenna thei akimuve. Hiche gam a ana cheng masa mite chu Ham son achilhah mi phabep anahi uvin ahi.
And they found fat pasture and good, and a wide land, both quiet and fruitfull: for they of Ham had dwelt there before.
41 Hinlah, Simeon insunga ama ama kailhah cheh’a haosa chapate chu hikoma hin Judah lengpa Hezekiah lengvaipoh layin ahung lut’uvin, hikoma anachengte Ham son achilhah phabep ho chule Meun mite ponbuh ho ahin, achennau in ho ahin, amuphah phah asumanguvin ahi. Hiti hin amaho chu asuhmang phat’uvin amaho khel’in anachenguvin, tuni gei hin amahon mun chu alo nalaiyuve. Ijeh-inem itileh hiche gam'a hi akelngoiteu neh ding hamhing pha amu’u ahi.
And these described by name, came in the dayes of Hezekiah king of Iudah, and smote their tents, and the inhabitants that were found there, and destroyed them vtterly vnto this day, and dwelt in their roume, because there was pasture there for their sheepe.
42 Chuin, Simeon mite lah’a mihem ja nga tobang chu Seir molsang geiyin akitol’uvin, a lamkai diuvin Pelatiah le Neariah toh, Rephaiah, le Uzziel, abonchauva Ishi chapate chu anapansah uvin ahi.
And besides these, fiue hundreth men of the sonnes of Simeon went to mount Seir, and Pelatiah, and Neariah, and Rophaiah, and Vzziel the sonnes of Ishi were their captaines,
43 Amaho hin Amalek mi athimoh’a jamdoh chengse jong asumanguvin, chule amaho khel’in tuni geiyin acheng den tauve.
And they smote the rest of Amalek that had escaped, and they dwelt there vnto this day.
