2 Corinth 7

1 Ka it te awng, hi kamciam te nei ka hi uhkom in, cilesa le thaa a nin theampo pan in eima le eima i ki thiansua tu a, Pathian zatakna taw thianthona cialcingsak tawng.

Having therefore these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

2 Hong sang tavun; kote in kuama tung ah khial ngawl khu hi, kuama zong siatsua ngawl khu hi, kuama zong theam ngawl khu hi.

Open your hearts to us. We wronged no one. We corrupted no one. We took advantage of no one.

3 Note mawsiat tu in ka pau hi ngawl hi: banghangziam cile ka thinsung uh sia note taw thi khawm tule nungta khawm tu, ci in kong son zo hi.

I say this not to condemn you, for I have said before, that you are in our hearts to die together and live together.

Great is my boldness of speech toward you. Great is my boasting on your behalf. I am filled with comfort. I overflow with joy in all our affliction.

5 Banghangziam cile Macedonia ka thet uh ciang in, ka pumpi uh tawlngak hun nei ngawl hi, mun theampo pan in hong nawngkaisak hi; a puasang ah kihauna om a, a sungsang ah launa te om hi.

For even when we had come into Macedonia, our flesh had no relief, but we were afflicted on every side. Fightings were outside. Fear was inside.

6 Ahihang a nuaisang ah a ki khia te heneampa Pathian in, Titus hong thet na tungtawn in hong heneam hi;

Nevertheless, he who comforts the lowly, God, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

7 Taciang Titus hong thet na tungtawn bek hi ngawl in, ama sia note kung pan henepna a nga na hang in zong henepna ka nga uh hi, ama in nong phaw na uh thu, na kaa na tau na uh thu le deisakna thu te hong son ciang in, ka lungdam seseam hi.

and not by his coming only, but also by the comfort with which he was comforted in you, while he told us of your longing, your mourning, and your zeal for me; so that I rejoiced still more.

8 Banghangziam cile kong laithak taw note kong khuangaisak a, kisik phot hi kaleng, ka kisik bua kik hi: banghangziam cile tua lai in note hong khuangaisak napi, tawmvei sung bek hi, ci ka he hi.

For though I made you sorry with my letter, I do not regret it, though I did regret it. For I see that my letter made you sorry, though just for a while.

9 Tu in ka lungdam hi, note kong khuangaisak hang hi ngawl in, note i khuangaina pan ki sikkikna na nei uh hang hi zaw hi: banghangziam cile kote hang in bangma supna na nei ngawl natu uh in Pathian mi hi na bang in khuangaisak te na hi uh hi.

I now rejoice, not that you were made sorry, but that you were made sorry to repentance. For you were made sorry in a godly way, that you might suffer loss by us in nothing.

10 Banghangziam cile Pathian mi hi na bang in hena pan ngupna atu maw kisikikna suaksak a, tua thu ki sikkik natu om ngawl hi: ahihang leitung khuangaina in thina piangsak hi.

For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation, which brings no regret. But the sorrow of the world works death.

11 Banghangziam cile hi Pathian mi hi na bang in na khuangaina uh in note sung ah kidopna, ki thianthosakna, thalawpna, thukkikna te piangsak hi, ci sia en vun! Na theampo sung ah noma le noma hi thu taw kisai in tetti na pang zo uh hi.

For look at this very thing, that you were made sorry in a godly way. What diligence it produced in you, what clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what longing, what zeal, what vindication. In everything you proved yourselves to be innocent in this matter.

So although I wrote to you, I wrote not for his cause that did the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered the wrong, but that your earnest care for us might be revealed in you in the sight of God.

Therefore we have been comforted. In our comfort we rejoiced the more exceedingly for the joy of Titus, because his spirit has been refreshed by you all.

14 Banghangziam cile Titus kung ah note i thu ki suangtak tu nei ka hile, kamai a zum bua hi; note tung ah kong son uh theampo sia thuman a hihi, Titus mai ah ka ki suantakna zong thuman a hihi, ci kilang hi.

For if in anything I have boasted to him on your behalf, I was not disappointed. But as we spoke all things to you in truth, so our glorying also which I made before Titus was found to be truth.

His affection is more abundantly toward you, while he remembers all of your obedience, how with fear and trembling you received him.

I rejoice that in everything I am of good courage concerning you.
