7 Ceamyihna awmsaw na venna law ham awm am tyng nyng ti nyng, awi doeng mah kqawn nawh, ka tyihzawih qoei bit kaw.
Therefore I did not even think myself worthy to come to you; but say the word, and my servant will be healed.

For I also am a man placed under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, 'Go.' and he goes; and to another, 'Come.' and he comes; and to my servant, 'Do this,' and he does it."
9 Jesu ing anih ak awi ce ang zaak awh ak kawpoek na kyi nawh, a hu awh ak bat thlangkhqi benna hawi nawh, “Ka nik kqawn peek khqi, Israelkhqi chung lakawh vemyihna cangnaak ak bau am hu nyng,” tinak khqi hy.
When Yeshua heard these things, he was amazed at him, and turned and said to the crowd who followed him, "I tell you, I have not found such great faith, no, not in Israyel."

Fear took hold of all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us." and, "God has visited his people."

When the men had come to him, they said, "Yukhanan the Baptist has sent us to you, saying, 'Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?'"
21 Cawh Jesu ing tlawhnat soepkep ak takhqi, thlak tlokhqi ce qoei sak nawh, qaaichekhqi ce hqek hy, mikhypkhqi ce mik dang sak hy.
In that hour he cured many of diseases and plagues and evil spirits; and to many who were blind he gave sight.

Yeshua answered them, "Go and tell Yukhanan the things which you have seen and heard: that the blind receive their sight, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have good news preached to them.
23 U awm kai ak camawh amak tlu taw a zoseen hy,” tinak khqi hy.
Blessed is he who is not offended by me."

But what did you go out to see? A man clothed in soft clothing? Look, those who are gorgeously dressed, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.
26 Cawhtaw ikaw huh ngaih awh nami ceh ce? Tawngha huh nami ngaih awh nu, Oeih, ka nik kqawn peek khqi, tawngha anglakawh tawngha khqoet ceni.
But what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and much more than a prophet.
27 Anih akawng vemyihna a na qee hawh uhy: “'Na haiawh ka dyihthing tyi law kawng nyngsaw, anih ing na haai awhkaw lam ce qoek abah law kaw,' a ti ce.

When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God to be just, having been baptized with Yukhanan's baptism.
30 Cehlai Farasikhqi ingkaw anaa awi ak simkhqi ingtaw a mimah ak poek awh Khawsa ang cainaak ce oelh uhy, Johan a baptisma awm am hu uhy.)
But the Pharisees and the Law scholars rejected the counsel of God, not being baptized by him themselves.

They are like children who sit in the marketplace, and call one to another, saying, 'We played the flute for you, and you did not dance. We mourned, and you did not weep.'
33 Johan law nawh buh awm am ai hy, misur tui awm am aw hy, 'Qaai tahy,' tina uhyk ti.
For Yukhanan the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine, and you say, 'He has a demon.'
34 Thlang Capa law nawh aw ai hy, 'Ai maw, aawk maw, misur tui ak sawk, mangmu ak cawikungkhqi ingkaw thlak thawlhkhqi pyi,' tina uhyk ti.
The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, 'Look, a gluttonous man, and a drunkard; a friend of tax collectors and sinners.'
35 Cehlai cyihnaak taw a cakhqi boeih ak caming dang sak na awm hy,” tinak khqi hy.
Wisdom is justified by all her children."

One of the Pharisees invited him to eat with him. He entered into the Pharisee's house, and sat at the table.
37 Ce a khawk khui awhkaw ak awm thlak thawlh nu pynoet ing Farasi a im awh Jesu ing buh pan hy tice ang zaak awh, alabaster bawktui pynoet ce haw law nawh law hy.
And look, a woman in the city who was a sinner, when she knew that he was reclining in the Pharisee's house, she brought an alabaster jar of ointment.
38 Jesu a hu benna a khawkung awh ce dyi nawh kqang hy, a mikphli tui ing a khaw sui nawh, a lusam ing huih hy, a khaw ce mawk nawh, bawktui ing syp bai hy.
Standing behind at his feet weeping, she began to wet his feet with her tears, and she wiped them with the hair of her head, kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

Now when the Pharisee who had invited him saw it, he said to himself, "This man, if he were a prophet, would have perceived who and what kind of woman this is who touches him, that she is a sinner."
40 Jesu ing a venawh, “Simon, awi kqawn law lah vang nyng,” tina hy. Anih ing, “Kqawn law lah thaw, cawngpyikung,” tina hy.
Yeshua answered him, "Shimon, I have something to tell you." He said, "Teacher, say on."
41 Cawh Jesu ing, “Thlang pakkhih ing tangka ak pu sakkung a venawh tangka pu haih hy nih. Pynoet ing tangka denari zanga pu nawh, pynoet ingtaw tangka denari hakip pu hy.

When they could not pay, he forgave them both. Which of them therefore will love him most?"
43 Simon ing, “Tangka khawzah bet ak pu peek thlang ing lungna khqoet kaw, tinawh poek nyng,” tina hy. Jesu ing, “Ak thym ni nak kqawn phek hy,” tina hy.
Shimon answered, "He, I suppose, to whom he forgave the most." He said to him, "You have judged correctly."
44 Cekcoengawh nu benna ce mang nawh Simon a venawh, “Vawhkaw thlang ve nak hu nu? Na im na ka law awh, ka khaw silh tui amni pe hyk ti. Cehlai anih ingtaw a mikphli tui ing ka khaw sui nawh a lusam ing huih hy.
Turning to the woman, he said to Shimon, "Do you see this woman? I entered into your house, and you gave me no water for my feet, but she has wet my feet with her tears, and wiped them with her hair.
45 Nang ingtaw amni mawk man hyk ti, cehlai ve nu ingtaw ka lut law cyk awhkawng ka khaw ve ang dym kaana mawk hy.

You did not anoint my head with oil, but she has anointed my feet with ointment.
47 Cedawngawh ka nik kqawn peek, a thawlhnaak khawzah ce qeenna awm hawh hy; anih ingawm a lungnaak bau soeih hy; cehlai qeennaak ak zawi ing, a lungnaak zawi khawi hy,” tina hy.
Therefore I tell you, her sins, which are many, are forgiven, for she loved much. But the one who is forgiven little, loves little."
48 Cekcoengawh Jesu ing nu a venawh, “Na thawlhnaak qeenna awm hawh hy,” tina hy.
He said to her, "Your sins are forgiven."
49 Cawh buh ak vel pyikhqi ing, “Thlang a thawlh qeenkhaw ak ngai ve u nu?” ti uhy.
And those who were reclining with him began to say to themselves, "Who is this who even forgives sins?"
50 Jesu ing nu a venawh, “Nak cangnaak ing ni thaawng hawh hy, ngaihqep cana cet hlah,” tina hy.
He said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you. Go in peace."
