1 Pentecost nyn a pha awh hun pynoet awh kutoet na awm boeih uhy.
And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
2 Kawlhkalh awh khawhli awi amyihna khan nakawng awi ce law nawh a mingmih ang ngawihnaak ipkhui ce be khyp hy.
And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
3 Cawh thlang pynoet qip ak khanawh lai amyihna ak awm mai ce hu uhy.
And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 Cekkhqi boeih ce Ciim Myihla ing be unawh Myihla ing a pau sak amyihna awihchang na pau uhy.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit (pneuma) gave them utterance.
5 Cawh khawnghi ak kai awh ak awm Khawsa ak kqih Juda thlangkhqi boeih boeih ce Jerusalem awh awm uhy.
And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6 Cek awi ce a ming zaak awh thlang khawzah cun law unawh, thlang boeih ing ce amik awi pau ce amimah ak awina aming zaak awh amik kawpoekna kyi hy.
Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7 Thlang boeih ing kawpoek kyi ngaihang doena, “Toek lah uh, vawhkaw awikhqi ve Galili awi boeih am nu?
And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
8 Ikawtinawh ni thangpyi awi amyihna ning zaak hy voei?
And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Thlang vang Parthia khaw, Media ingkaw Elam khaw awhkaw ak awmkhqi; thlang vang taw Mesopotamia, Judah ingkaw Kapadocia, Pontus ingkaw Asia qamawh ak awmkhqi,
Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Thlang vang bai taw Phrygia ingkaw Pamphylia, Izip ingkaw Libya qam Cyqene khaw keng awhkaw thlangkhqi, Rom khawawh ak awmkhqi ingkaw
Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,

Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of God.
12 Thlang boeih amik kawpoek kyi ing, a kawnglam am zasim thai unawh, “Veve ikawmyih hly hy voei nu? ti unawh doet qu uhy.
And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What means this?
13 Cawh thlang vang ingtaw qaihnakkhqi unawh, “Misur zuk thai ak quikhqi ni,” ti uhy.
Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 Cehlai Piter taw thlanghqa hlaioet khqi mi dyi unawh, anih ing khawteh na ak awi y nawh awi kqawn hy, “Nangmih Juda khawkthlangkhqi ingkaw Jerusalem awh ak awm thlangkhqi boeih aw, ve ve sim unawh kak kqawn ve ngai lah uh.
But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, All of you men of Judaea, and all you that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: (rhema)
15 Vekkhqi ve nangmih ing namik poek amyihna, zu am qui uhy. Tuhawh mymcang khawnoek kow ni a law hun hy!
For these are not drunken, as all of you suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 Vetaw tawngha Joel ing anak kqawn ceni:
But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
17 “Khawnghi a dyt tym awh ce, Khawsa ing, thlang boeih ce kang Myihla ing syp kawng nyng saw, nami capakhqi ingkaw nami canukhqi ing awi khypyi kawm uh. Cadawngkhqi ing hatnaak hu kawm usaw, pacawngkhqi ing mang han kawm uh.
And it shall come to pass in the last days, says God, I will pour out of my Spirit (pneuma) upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 Ka tamnaa pakhqi ingkaw ka tamnaa nukhqi ak khan awhawm kang Myihla syp kawng nyng saw, ka awi kqawn kawm uh.
And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; (pneuma) and they shall prophesy:
19 Khawhii awh kawpoek kyi themkhqi ingkaw, deklai kaiawh hatnaakkhqi ce nim huh kawng nyng; Thi, mai ingkaw maikhu ing dang sak kawng nyng.
And I will show wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
20 Bawipa a khawnghi bau ingkaw boeimangnaak ce a pha hlanawh, Khawmik ce than kawmsaw, pihla ce thi na thoeng kaw.
The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and notable day of the Lord come:
21 Cawh u awm Bawipang ming ak khy boeih taw hulna awm kaw,’ a tice ni.
And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
22 “Nangmih Israel thlangkhqi aw, ve ve ngai lah uh: Nazareth Jesu ce Khawsa ing dyihpyi nawh nangmih a venawh kawpoek kyi them ing hatnaakkhqi ce sai law sak hy, namimah ingawm sim uhyk ti.
All of you men of Israel, hear these words; (logos) Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as all of you yourselves also know:
23 Anih ce Khawsa ing khaw khan oepchoeh nawh a sim oepchoeh hawh amyihna, nangmih a kut awh peek nace awm hy; cawh nangmih ing thlakchekhqi ak bawngnaak ing anih ce thinglam awh khing nawh him uhyk ti.
Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, all of you have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Cehlai anih ce Khawsa ing thihnaak awhkawng thawh sak tlaih nawh, thihnaak ingkaw khy am kqangnaak ak khuiawh kawng loet sak hawh hy, kawtih thihnaak ing anih ce am tu khak thai hy.
Whom God has raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be held of it.
25 David ing ak awi kqawn nawh, “Ka haiawh Bawipa ce hu poepa nyng. Ka ngai ama hangnaak aham kak tang benawh awm hy.
For David speaks concerning him, I foresaw the Lord always before my face, for he is on my right hand, that I should not be moved:
26 Cedawngawh kak kawlung ve zeel nawh kam lai ve ak kaw zeel hy; Ka pum awm ngaih-unaak ing hqing kaw,
Therefore did my heart rejoice, and my tongue was glad; moreover also my flesh shall rest in hope:
27 Ikawtih nang ing phyi khuiawh am nik khawng hyt kawm tiksaw, Nak thlang ciim ce thuh zip aham am ngaih kawp ti. (Hadēs g86)
Because you will not leave my soul in hell, neither will you suffer your Holy One to see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
28 Nang ing hqingnaak lam ce nani sim sak hawh a dawngawh; Na haiawh zeelnaak ing ni be sak kawp ti,” tinawh kqawn hy.
You have made known to me the ways of life; you shall make me full of joy with your countenance.
29 Koeinaakhqi, pakdam David a kawng ve ak kqih kanaa nami venawh kqawn law nyng; anih ce thi nawh, phyi khui byihna awm hawh hy, ak phyi awm tuhdy ni venawh awm poe hy.
Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his tomb is with us unto this day.
30 Anih taw tawngha na awm nawh, Khawsa ing a venawh awikam nawh amah a ngawihdoelh awh a cadil thlang pynoet ngawih sak kaw tinawh awi a taak ce sim hy.
Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne;
31 Ni hai benawh ak awm law hly kawi ik-oeih ce a sim oepchoeh a dawngawh, anih ce phyi khuiawh am khawng hyt kawmsaw, a pum awm am thu kaw, tinawh Khrih a thawh tlaihnaak akawng ce anak kqawn oepchoeh hawh hy. (Hadēs g86)
He seeing this before spoke of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. (Hadēs g86)
32 Cawhkaw Jesu ce Khawsa ing thawh sak tlaih nawh, cawhkaw ik-oeih ak simpyikung dyihthing na kaimih ve awm unyng.
This Jesus has God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Pa ak tang benawh zoeksangna awm nawh, Pa ing awi ataak Ciim Myihla ce hu hawh hy, nami huh naming zaak ve ing syypna awm nawh ni.
Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Spirit, (pneuma) he has shed forth this, which all of you now see and hear.
34 David ce khawk khan na am kaai hy, anih qoe ing, “Bawipa ing ka Bawipa venawh: 'Kak tang benawh ngawi lah.
For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he says himself, The Lord said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand,
35 Na qaalkhqi ce na khawtloeng na ka taak hlan dy,” tinawh anak kqawn hy.
Until I make your foes your footstool.
36 Cedawngawh Israel thlangkhqi boeih ing ve ve sim lah uh: Nangmih ing thinglam awh nami taai Jesu ce Khawsa ing Boei ingkaw Khrih na sai hawh hy,” tinak khqi hy.
Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that God has made the same Jesus, whom all of you have crucified, both Lord and Christ.
37 Thlangkhqi ing ce ak awi ce a ming zaak awh, amik kawlung awh sun amyihna za unawh, Piter ingkaw ceityihkhqi venawh, “Koeinaakhqi ikawmyihna nu ka mi ti kaw?” tinawh doet uhy.
Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do?
38 Piter ing, “Thawlh zut unawh taw, thawlh qeenkhaw ngainaak aham, Jesu Khrih ang ming awh baptisma hu boeih uh. Cawhtaw Ciim Myihla themzoe peek ce hu kawm uk ti.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and all of you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. (pneuma)
39 Vawhkaw awikamnaak vetaw na mimah aham, nami cakhqi ham ingkaw ak hla nakaw ak awm thlangkhqi boeih – Bawipa nangmih a Khawsa ing ak khy thlangkhqi boeih aham ni,” tinak khqi hy.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are far off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
40 Awih chang khawzah ing a mingmih a venawh ngaihtaaknaak awi kqawn pek khqi hy; a mingmih a venawh, “Vawhkaw ak plam cadilkhiq anglak awhkawng na mimah ingkaw na mimah ce hul qu lah uh,” tinawh kqawncaih pek khqi hy.
And with many other words (logos) did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Anih ak awih kqawn ak dokhqi boeih ing baptisma ce hu uhy, ce a nyn awh ce thlang thong thum ing sap khqi hy.
Then they that gladly received his word (logos) were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 Ceityihkhqi a cawngpyinaak awi ce ngai unawh pawlnengnaak ce ta uhy, phaihpi thek unawh cykcah uhy.
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 Thlang boeih kqihnaak ing be unawh ceityihkhqi ing kawpoek kyi hatnaakkhqi ce sai uhy.
And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
44 Ak cangnaak thlangkhqi boeih ing them pynoet na cuut uhy.
And all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 Ami khawhthemkhqi ce zawi unawh, ak voethlauh thlangkhqi ce pe uhy.
And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
46 Myngawi na bawkim awh cun poepa uhy. Im awh phaihpi ce teei unawh kawlung kutoet cana zeelnaak ing ai haih uhy,
And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their food with gladness and singleness of heart,
47 Khawsa ce a mim kyihcah coengawh thlang boeih ak kawngaih na khaw sa uhy. Hulnaak ak hukhqi ing Bawipa ing a mingmih ce myngawi na sap khqi hy.
Praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.
