< 1 Korin 12 >

1 Koeinaakhqi, myihla ben them peek ve a sim kaana nami awm ham amni ngaih nak khqi nyng.
Now concerning spiritual [gifts], brethren, I would not have you ignorant.
2 Maana lukih na nami awm awh ikawmyih na awm a ngaihnaak amyihna, ce myiqawl awi amak takhqi benna ceh pyi na awm uhyk ti sim uhyk ti.
Ye know that when ye were Gentiles [ye were] led away unto those dumb idols, howsoever ye might be led.
3 Cedawngawh ka nik kqawn peek khqi, u awm Khawsa myihla ing awi ak kqawn ingtaw, “Jesu taw khawsii zawk seh,” am ti uhy, u ingawm Ciim Myihla ak caming kataw, “Jesu taw Boei ni,” am ti thai hy.
Wherefore I make known unto you, that no man speaking in the Spirit of God saith, Jesus is anathema; and no man can say, Jesus is Lord, but in the Holy Spirit.
4 Them pek ak chang chang awm hlai hy, Myihla taw pynoet ni.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
5 Bibinaak ak chang chang awm hlai hy, Bawipa taw pynoet ni.
And there are diversities of ministrations, and the same Lord.
6 Bibinaak ak chang chang awm hlai hy, Khawsa ing ni thlang boeih awh bi a bi hy.
And there are diversities of workings, but the same God, who worketh all things in all.
7 Hawihkhaangnaak a hamna Myihla simsaknaak ce thlang boeih a venawh pek na awm hy.
But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit to profit withal.
8 Thlang pynoet a venawh Myihla ing cyihnaak awithang pe nawh, ak chang a venawh Myihla ing awithang simnaak pe bai hy.
For to one is given through the Spirit the word of wisdom; and to another the word of knowledge, according to the same Spirit:
9 Thlak chang pynoet a venawh Myihla awh cangnaak ce pe nawh, thlang pynoet a venawh thlak tlo qoei sak thainaak pe hy.
to another faith, in the same Spirit; and to another gifts of healings, in the one Spirit;
10 Thlang pynoet a venawh kawpoek kyi thaawmnaak pe nawh, pynoet a venawh awithang khypyinaak pe hy. Pynoet a venawh myihlakhqi hqimhqa thainaak pe nawh, ak chang pynoet a venawh awi ak chang chang pau thainaak pehy. Ak chang pynoet a ven bai awh ce am sim awi zaaksim thainaak pe hy.
and to another workings of miracles; and to another prophecy; and to another discernings of spirits: to another [divers] kinds of tongues; and to another the interpretation of tongues:
11 Cehlai vekkhqi boeih ve Myihla pynoet ing thlang boeih a venawh ak ngaihnaak amyihna teei nawh bibi hy.
but all these worketh the one and the same Spirit, dividing to each one severally even as he will.
12 Pum ve pynoet doeng hlai ni a baai khawzah awm hy; cawhkaw a baai khawzah ing pum pynoet coeng sak hy. Cemyih nani Khrih awm a awm hy.
For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
13 Ikawtih ningnih boeih ve Myihla pynoet ing ni pumoet na awm a hamna baptisma ani peek khqi boeih hy; Juda awm Greek awm tamnaa awm ak tamnaa am awm, awk hly kawi Myihla pynoet doeng ni ningnih a venawh a ni peek khqi hy.
For in one Spirit were we all baptized into one body, whether Jews or Greeks, whether bond or free; and were all made to drink of one Spirit.
14 Pum ve pynoet doengna am sai nawh a baai khawzah nani a sai.
For the body is not one member, but many.
15 Khaw ing, “Kai taw kut na am awm nyng saw pum awh am paa nyng,” a ti mantaw, cemyihna a ti ak camawh pum awh a paa kaana am awm thai hy.
If the foot shall say, Because I am not the hand, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body.
16 Haa ing, “Kai taw mik na am awm nyng saw pum awh am paa thai nyng,” a ti mantaw, cemyihna a ti ak camawh pum awh a paa kaana am awm thai hy.
And if the ear shall say, Because I am not the eye, I am not of the body; it is not therefore not of the body.
17 Pum ve mik hqoeng na a awm mantaw, ikaw ing nu awi ang zaak kaw? Pum ve haa hqoeng na a awm mantaw, ikaw ing nu baw ang zaak bai kaw?
If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling?
18 Cehlai Khawsa ing pum awhkaw a baaikhqi boeih ce amah ing a ngaihnaak a hun awh ta boeih hy.
But now hath God set the members each one of them in the body, even as it pleased him.
19 Pum a baaikhqi ve pynoet na a awm boeih mantaw pum ve hana nu a awm kaw?
And if they were all one member, where were the body?
20 Cedawngawh, a pang kqeng soeih hlai hy, pum taw pynoet ni.
But now they are many members, but one body.
21 Mik ing kut a venawh, Amni ngoe nyng! am tina thai hy. Lu ing khaw a venawh, “Amni ngoe nyng!” am tina thai bai hy.
And the eye cannot say to the hand, I have no need of thee: or again the head to the feet, I have no need of you.
22 Cemyihna pum a baai tha amak awn amyihna ak dangkhqi ve phu ak ta boeihkhqi na awm uhy.
Nay, much rather, those members of the body which seem to be more feeble are necessary:
23 Cekcoengawh zoeksang kawina am ning ngaih pum a baaikhqi ce, ce qoe ce huhhly kawina awm uhy; huh sitna ak awm ni baaikhqi ing zoeksangnaak khawzah hu uhy.
and those [parts] of the body, which we think to be less honorable, upon these we bestow more abundant honor; and our uncomely [parts] have more abundant comeliness;
24 Ni baai huhlhy ak cukhqi ingtaw cemyihna sai am ngaih hy. Pum-awh ve hqeengnaak qoe qoe am awm nawh, a baaikhqi ing ang myih qipna amik bawng qunaak qip thai a hamna
whereas our comely [parts] have no need: but God tempered the body together, giving more abundant honor to that [part] which lacked;
25 Khawsa ing dawnaak amak ta a baai ce zoeksang khqoet nawh, pum ve pumoetna a sai ni.
that there should be no schism in the body; but [that] the members should have the same care one for another.
26 Cemyihna a baai pynoet ing ang yh awhtaw a baai changkhqi boeih ingawm yh lawt unawh, a baai pynoet zoeksangna a awm awhtaw a baaikhqi boeih ing ym pyi uhy.
And whether one member suffereth, all the members suffer with it; or [one] member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.
27 Nangmih taw Khrih a pumna awm unawh, a baaikhqi boeihna awm uhyk ti.
Now ye are the body of Christ, and severally members thereof.
28 Khawsa ing thlangvang ce thlangboel khuiawh ta nawh, a pynoetnaak awh ceityih na, a pakkhihnaak awh awihkqawnkung na, ak pakthumnaak awh cawngpyikung na ta hy; cekcoengawh kawpoek saithainaak, ak tlo qoei saknaak, awi a phyn phyn na awikqawn thainaak them pekkhqi ce awm bai hy.
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondly prophets, thirdly teachers, then miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, [divers] kinds of tongues.
Are all apostles? are all prophets? are all teachers? are all [workers of] miracles?
30 Ami cu boeih ing thlaktlo qoei sai thai boeih unawh nu? Ami cu boeih ing awi kqawncaihnaak thai ta boeih unawh nu?
have all gifts of healings? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret?
31 Cehlai thempeek ak bau soeihkhqi ce ngaih soeih kawm uk ti. Cawhce lamleek soeih nim huh khqi kawng nyng. soeih lah uh.
But desire earnestly the greater gifts. And moreover a most excellent way show I unto you.
