< Rom 10 >

1 Khatben ah manuca rhoek, khangnah ham amih yueng Pathen taengah ka thinko kah kolonah tah rhenbihnah ni.
Brothers, the pleasure indeed of my heart, and my supplication that [is] to God for Israel, is—for salvation;
2 Pathen kah kohlopnah a khueh uh te amih ham ka phong pah. Tedae mingnah nen moenih.
for I bear them testimony that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge,
3 Pathen kah duengnah vik te a mangvawt uh tih amah kah duengnah thoh ham ni a toem uh. Te dongah Pathen kah duengnah dongah boe a ngai uh moenih.
for not knowing the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to the righteousness of God.
4 Te dongah aka tangnah rhoek boeih te duengnah ham olkhueng kah a bawtnah tah Khrih ni.
For Christ is an end of law for righteousness to everyone who is believing,
5 Moses loh olkhueng kah duengnah kawng te a daek coeng. Te tla a saii daengah ni hlang loh te nen te a hing eh.
for Moses describes the righteousness that [is] of the Law, that, “The man who did them will live in them,”
6 Tedae tangnah kah duengnah loh, “Na thinko ah, 'Unim Vaan la aka luei eh? Te tah Khrih aka khuen la om.
and the righteousness of faith thus speaks: “You may not say in your heart, Who will go up to Heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down)
7 Te phoeiah, 'Unim tangrhom dung la aka suntla eh? Te duek lamkah hang khuen ham tila Khrih ni, 'ti boeh,” a ti tangloeng. (Abyssos g12)
or, “Who will go down to the abyss?” (that is, to bring up Christ out of the dead). (Abyssos g12)
8 Tedae balae n'ti lah eh? Olka te na taengah, na ka ah, na thinko ah om. Tekah aka om tangnah olka la ka hoe uh te.
But what does it say? “The saying is near you—in your mouth, and in your heart”: that is, the saying of the faith that we preach;
9 Boeipa Jesuh te na ka neh na phong tih duek lamkah anih aka thoh Pathen te na thinko ah na tangnah atah na daem ni.
that if you may confess with your mouth that Jesus [is] LORD, and may believe in your heart that God raised Him out of the dead, you will be saved,
10 Thinko neh a tangnah te duengnah la, ka neh a phong te khangnah la om.
for with the heart [one] believes to righteousness, and with the mouth is confession made to salvation;
11 Te dongah cacim loh, “Amah te aka tangnah boeih tah yahpok mahpawh.
for the Writing says, “Everyone who is believing on Him will not be ashamed,”
12 Judah neh Greek laklo ah hlihloehnah a om moenih. Boeipa amah tah hlang boeih kah ni. Amah aka phoei rhoek boeih taengah a khuehtawn sak.
for there is no difference between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord of all [is] rich to all those calling on Him,
13 Te dongah boeipa ming aka khue boeih te tah daem ni.
for “Everyone who, if he may have called on the Name of the LORD, will be saved.”
14 Tedae a tangnah uh mueh la amah te metlam a khue uh eh? A yaak uh mueh la amah te metlam a tangnah uh eh? A hoe mueh la metlam a yaak uh eh?
How then will they call on [Him] in whom they did not believe? And how will they believe [on Him] of whom they did not hear? And how will they hear apart from one preaching?
15 A tueih uh pawt atah metlam a hoe uh eh? A daek vanbangla hnothen te aka phong rhoek kah a kho tah sawtthen tangkik.
And how will they preach, if they may not be sent? According as it has been written: “How beautiful the feet of those proclaiming good tidings of peace, of those proclaiming good tidings of the good things!”
16 Tedae olthangthen te hlang boeih loh a ngai uh moenih. Isaiah loh, “Boeipa kaimih kah olthang he u long a tangnah,” a ti.
But they were not all obedient to the good tidings, for Isaiah says, “LORD, who gave credence to our report?”
17 Te dongah tangnah tah hnavue lamloh, hnavue tah Khrih kah olka lamloh ha om.
So then faith [is] by a report, and the report through a saying of God,
18 Tedae, “A yaak uh moenih a?” ka ti. Amih kah oldi loh diklai pum la cet tih, amih kah olka loh lunglai a bawtnah due a pha.
but I say, did they not hear? Yes, indeed, “their voice went forth to all the earth, and their sayings to the ends of the habitable world.”
19 Tedae, “Israel loh ming pawt nim?” ka ti. Moses loh lamhma la, “Kai tah namtom pawt nen khaw nangmih kan thatlai thil ni. Lungmong namtom rhangneh nangmih kan sai sak ni,” a ti.
But I say, did Israel not know? First Moses says, “I will provoke you to jealousy by [that which is] not a nation, By an unintelligent nation I will anger you,”
20 Te dongah Isaiah tah a rhalthen tih, “Kai aka toem pawt rhoek loh m'hmuh tih kai aka dawt pawt rhoek taengah aka phoe la ka om,” a ti.
and Isaiah is very bold and says, “I was found by those not seeking Me; I became visible to those not inquiring after Me”;
21 Te phoeiah Israel taengah, “Ka kut te hnin at puet pilnam ol aek neh boekoek taengah ka phuel coeng,” a ti nah.
and to Israel He says, “All the day I stretched out My hands to a people unbelieving and contradicting.”
