1 David kah Caemtloek ham ka kutdawn neh caemrhal ham ka kut aka cang puei, ka lungpang BOEIPA tah a yoethen pai saeh.
[A Psalm] of David. Blessed [be] the LORD my strength, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:
2 Ka sitlohnah neh ka rhalvong, ka imsang neh kai ham kai aka hlawt ka photling, ka hmuiah ka pilnam aka hnaa amah dongah ni ka ying.
My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my deliverer; my shield, and [he] in whom I trust; who subdueth my people under me.
3 BOEIPA aw hlang te metlam nim na ming tih amah hlanghing capa te amah la na moeh.
LORD, what [is] man, that thou takest knowledge of him! [or] the son of man, that thou makest account of him!
4 Hlang he a hohing la lutlat tih a khohnin khaw mueihlip bangla khum.
Man is like to vanity: his days [are] as a shadow that passeth away.
5 BOEIPA namah kah vaan ke koisu lamtah ha rhum laeh. Tlang ke puei lamtah khuu uh kangna saeh.
Bow thy heavens, O LORD, and come down: touch the mountains, and they shall smoke.
6 Rhaek daeh sak lamtah amih te taekyak lah. Na thaltang dong lamtah amih te khawkkhek lah.
Cast forth lightning, and scatter them: shoot out thine arrows, and destroy them.
7 Hmuensang lamkah na kut yueng lamtah kai m'paco lah. Tui len lamkah khaw, kholong hlang kah kut lamlong khaw kai n'huul lah.
Send thine hand from above; rid me, and deliver me out of great waters, from the hand of strange children;
8 Amih ka te a poeyoek la cal uh tih a bantang bantang ah laithae om.
Whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood.
9 Pathen namah taengah laa thai ka sa saeh lamtah namah te thangpa parha neh kan tingtoeng eh.
I will sing a new song unto thee, O God: upon a psaltery [and] an instrument of ten strings will I sing praises unto thee.
10 Manghai rhoek te loeihnah aka pae tih a sal David te boethae cunghang lamloh aka paco.
[It is he] that giveth salvation unto kings: who delivereth David his servant from the hurtful sword.
11 Kai he m'paco lamtah kholong ca rhoek kut lamloh kai n'huul lah. Amih ka te a poeyoek la cal tih a bantang bantang ah a honghi kak la om.
Rid me, and deliver me from the hand of strange children, whose mouth speaketh vanity, and their right hand [is] a right hand of falsehood:
12 Kaimih koca rhoek tah a camoe vaengah mupoe bangla rhoeng. Ka tu rhoek te bawkim muei la a saek rhungsut bangla omuh.
That our sons [may be] as plants grown up in their youth; [that] our daughters [may be] as corner stones, polished [after] the similitude of a palace:
13 Ka thaidi loh a com a luem lamkah te a khawk la a dang. Ka khohmuen ah ka boiva loh thawt tih pungtai.
[That] our garners [may be] full, affording all manner of store: [that] our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
14 Ka boeihlum aka tloeng khaw puut pawt tih khumpael pawh. Te dongah henah loh kaimih toltung ah om pawh.
[That] our oxen [may be] strong to labour; [that there be] no breaking in, nor going out; that [there be] no complaining in our streets.
15 Amah kah pilnam te tah a yoethen pai. BOEIPA te a Pathen la aka khueh pilnam te tah a yoethen pai.
Happy [is that] people, that is in such a case: [yea], happy [is that] people, whose God [is] the LORD.
