When he came down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

Behold, a leper came to him and worshiped him, saying, “Lord, if you want to, you can make me clean.”

Jesus stretched out his hand and touched him, saying, “I want to. Be made clean.” Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.

Jesus said to him, “See that you tell nobody; but go, show yourself to the priest, and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a testimony to them.”
5 Te phoeiah Kapernaum la a kun hatah, rhalboei loh a taengla a paan.
When he came into Capernaum, a centurion came to him, asking him for help,

saying, “Lord, my servant lies in the house paralyzed, grievously tormented.”

Jesus said to him, “I will come and heal him.”

The centurion answered, “Lord, I am not worthy for you to come under my roof. Just say the word, and my servant will be healed.
9 Kai khaw saithainah hmuikah hlang ni, kai hmuiah khaw rhalkap rhoek om van. Te dongah pakhat te, “Cet,” ka ti nah atah cet mai. A tloe te khaw, “Lo lah,” ka ti nah vaengah ha lo mai. Ka sal te khaw he he saii ka ti nah atah a saii ta,” a ti nah.
For I am also a man under authority, having under myself soldiers. I tell this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and tell another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and tell my servant, ‘Do this,’ and he does it.”

When Jesus heard it, he marveled and said to those who followed, “Most certainly I tell you, I have not found so great a faith, not even in Israel.

Jesus said to the centurion, “Go your way. Let it be done for you as you have believed.” His servant was healed in that hour.
14 Jesuh tah Peter im la pawk. Te vaengah Peter masae te tlo tih a yalh te a hmuh.
When Jesus came into Peter’s house, he saw his wife’s mother lying sick with a fever.
15 Te vaengah a kut te a taek pah hatah anih te satloh loh a hlah. Te dongah thoo tih Jesuh te a doedan.
He touched her hand, and the fever left her. So she got up and served him.
16 Hlaem a pha vaengah, rhaithae aka kaem rhoek te Jesuh taengla muep a khuen uh. Te vaengah mueihla te ol neh a haek tih tloh aka khueh rhoek te boeih a hoeih sak.
When evening came, they brought to him many possessed with demons. He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
17 Tonghma Isaiah loh a thui tih, “Mamih kah vawtthoeknah he a loh tih tlohtat khaw a phueih coeng,” a ti te soep tangloeng.
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying, “He took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
18 Jesuh loh a taengvai kah hlangping te a hmuh vaengah rhalvangan la caeh ham ol a paek.
Now when Jesus saw great multitudes around him, he gave the order to depart to the other side.
19 Te vaengah cadaek pakhat loh ham paan tih, “Saya, mela na caeh akhaw, kam vai ni,” a ti nah.
A scribe came and said to him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you go.”
20 Tedae anih te Jesuh loh, “Metang rhoek tah a khui a khueh uh tih vaan kah vaa rhoek khaw a bu a khueh. Tedae hlang capa tah a lu a tloeng nah te khueh pawh,” a ti nah.
Jesus said to him, “The foxes have holes and the birds of the sky have nests, but the Son of Man has nowhere to lay his head.”
21 A tloe a hnukbang loh a taengah, “Boeipa kai tah lamhma la n' caeh sak lamtah a pa te ka vuei dae eh,” a ti nah.
Another of his disciples said to him, “Lord, allow me first to go and bury my father.”
22 Tedae Jesuh loh, “Kai m'vai laeh, amamih aka duek puei vuei ham tah aka duek puei taengah hlah pah nawn,” a ti nah.
But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
23 Jesuh te lawng khuila a kun vaengah a hnukbang rhoek loh a vai uh.
When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him.
24 Te vaengah hlipuei loh tuili soah tarha hli tih, tuiphu loh lawng te dalhdalh a khup. Te vaengah Jesuh tah ip.
Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves; but he was asleep.
25 Te dongah amah te a paan uh phoeiah a thoh uh tih, “Boeipa n'khang lah m'poci uh coeng he,” a ti nahuh.
The disciples came to him and woke him up, saying, “Save us, Lord! We are dying!”
26 Tedae amih te, “Uepvawt rhoek Balae tih rhalyawp la na om uh?,” a ti nah. Te phoeiah, thoo tih khohli neh tuipuei te a ho hatah suepduem la boeih om.
He said to them, “Why are you fearful, O you of little faith?” Then he got up, rebuked the wind and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 Hlang rhoek khaw a ngaihmang uh tih, “Anih he metlam nim a om? Khohli neh tuipuei long pataeng a ol a ngai pah,” a ti uh.
The men marveled, saying, “What kind of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?”
28 Jesuh te rhalvangan kah Gadarenes kho la pawk. Te vaengah rhaithae aka kaem rhoi tah anih doe hamla phuel khui lamkah loh ha moe rhoi. Rhai thakbat tih te kah longpuei ah pakhat khaw khumpael thai pawh.
When he came to the other side, into the country of the Gergesenes, two people possessed by demons met him there, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that nobody could pass that way.
29 Te vaengah tah tarha pang rhoi tih, “Pathen Capa, kaimih rhoi taeng neh nang taengah balae aka om? A tuetang hlanah kaimih rhoi phaep ham nim hela na pawk dae? a ti rhoi.
Behold, they cried out, saying, “What do we have to do with you, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
30 Amih taeng lamloh a lakhla la om tih ok hui muep luem.
Now there was a herd of many pigs feeding far away from them.
31 Te dongah rhaithae rhoek loh Jesuh te a hloep uh tih, “Kaimih he nan haek atah, ok hui kah a khuila kaimih n'tueih mai,” a ti nah.
The demons begged him, saying, “If you cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of pigs.”
32 Te vaengah amih te, “Cet uh,” a ti nah. Te dongah te rhoek te ok khuila kun uh. Te vaengah ok hui boeih tah laengpoeng lamloh tuili la voek cu tih tui khuiah duek uh.
He said to them, “Go!” They came out and went into the herd of pigs; and behold, the whole herd of pigs rushed down the cliff into the sea and died in the water.
33 Ok vuelh rhoek te yong uh tih khopuei khuila kun uh. Rhaithae aka kaem rhoi kah a kawng te khaw a sikim la puen uh.
Those who fed them fled and went away into the city and told everything, including what happened to those who were possessed with demons.
34 Te dongah kho pum loh Jesuh doenah la pawk cet uh. Amah te a hmuh uh vaengah amih vaang lamloh thoeih ham a hloep uh.
Behold, all the city came out to meet Jesus. When they saw him, they begged that he would depart from their borders.
