< 2 Kawrin 11 >

1 Kai kah anglatnah te bet na yaknaem uh mai mako, tedae kai nan yaknaem uh gawn.
O that you were bearing with me a little of the folly, but you also bear with me:
2 Pathen kah thatlainah vanbangla nangmih ham ka thatlai. Nangmih te tongpa pakhat taengkah oila cuem bangla Khrih taengah nawn ham kan oei.
for I am zealous for you with zeal of God, for I betrothed you to one Husband, a pure virgin, to present to Christ,
3 Ka rhih mai pawt cakhaw, rhul loh amah kah rhaithinah neh Eve a hoilae bangla, nangmih kah poeknah loh moeihoeihnah neh Khrih dongkah cimcaihnah te ham poeih ve ne.
and I fear, lest, as the serpent deceived Eve in his subtlety, so your minds may be corrupted from the simplicity that [is] in the Christ;
4 Hlang tloe te aka pawk loh Jesuh a tloe hoe ngawn cakhaw anih te n'hoe uh moenih, na dang uh noek pawh mueihla tloe, na doe uh noek pawh olthangthen a tloe na dang uh akhaw, balh na yaknaem uh ngawn.
for if, indeed, he who is coming preaches another Jesus whom we did not preach, or you receive another spirit which you did not receive, or other good news which you did not accept—well were you bearing [it],
5 Te dongah caeltueih rhoek kah buhuenga pom te phavawt pawh ka ti mai.
for I reckon that I have been nothing behind the very chiefest apostles,
6 Tedae olka ka lol cakhaw mingnah dongah tah ka lol pawh. Te dongah nangmih kah cungkuem dongah cungkuem la phoe coeng.
and even if a commoner in speech—yet not in knowledge, but in everything we were made evident in all things to you.
Did I do sin—humbling myself that you might be exalted, because I freely proclaimed the good news of God to you?
8 Hlangboel rhoek a hloeh la ka rheth tih nangmih kah bibi paang te ka bawt a?
I robbed other assemblies, having taken wages, for your ministry;
9 Nangmih taengah aka om tih aka vawtthoek pataeng pakhat khaw ka thinrhih sak moenih. Ka vawtthoeknah te Makedonia lamkah aka pawk manuca rhoek long nia doo.
and being present with you, and having been in want, I was chargeable to no one, for the brothers supplied my lack—having come from Macedonia—and I kept myself burdenless to you in everything, and will keep.
10 Ka khuiah Khrih kah oltak om ta. Te dongah ka khuikah hoemdamnah he tah Akhaia pingpang ah khaw buem uh mahpawh.
The truth of Christ is in me, because this boasting will not be stopped in regard to me in the regions of Achaia;
11 Balae tih, nangmih kan lungnah pawh? Pathen loh a ming ngawn.
for what reason? Because I do not love you? God has known!
Te neh a pomsang uh daengah ni mamih bangla a hmuh uh van eh.
And what I do, I also will do, that I may cut off the occasion of those wishing an occasion, that in that which they boast they may be found according as we also;
13 Amih laithae caeltueih rhoek neh khuplat bibikung rhoek loh Khrih kah caeltueih bangla sa uh.
for those such [are] false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into apostles of Christ,
14 Tedae Satan loh amah neh amah vangnah puencawn la a sa uh te ngaihmang ham om pawh.
and no wonder—for even Satan transforms himself into a messenger of light;
15 Anih kah tueihyoeih rhoek loh duengnah kah tueihyoeih rhoek bangla sa uh mai cakhaw olpuei moenih. Amih kaha hnukkhueng tah a khoboe vanbangla om bitni.
[it is] no great thing, then, if his servants also transform themselves as servants of righteousness—whose end will be according to their works.
16 Koep ka thui, pakhat long khaw kai he ang tila poek uh boeh.
Again I say, may no one think me to be a fool; and if otherwise, receive me even as a fool, that I also may boast a little.
That which I speak, I do not speak according to the LORD, but as in foolishness, in this the confidence of boasting;
18 A yet loh pumsa neh a pomsang uh dongah ka pomsang van ni.
since many boast according to the flesh, I also will boast:
19 A cueih neh aka om long ni aka ang rhoek te khaw liplip na yaknaem uh.
for you gladly bear with the fools—being wise,
20 Nangmih te pakhat loh sal m'bi sak akhaw, pakhat loh n'yoop akhaw, pakhat loh han loh akhaw, pakhat loh m'poe akhaw, pakhat loh na maelhmai ah n'thoek akhaw na yaknaem uh coeng.
for you bear, if anyone is bringing you under bondage, if anyone devours, if anyone takes away, if anyone exalts himself, if anyone strikes you on the face;
I speak in reference to dishonor, how that we were weak, and in whatever anyone is bold—in foolishness I say [it]—I also am bold.
Are they Hebrews? I also! Are they Israelites? I also! Are they seed of Abraham? I also!
23 Khrih kah tueihyoeih laa om uh atah Kai loh muep ka angsai puei tih ka thui ngai ta. thakthaenah nen khaw ka tahoeng, thongim khuiah khaw vawptawp, lucik nen khaw nainoe, dueknah nen taitu.
Are they servants of Christ? As [if] beside myself I speak—I [am] more; in labors more abundantly, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequently, in deaths many times.
24 Judah rhoek lamkah voei nga ka yook tih likip ham pakhat vel a ngaih.
Five times I received from Jews forty [stripes] except one;
25 Voei thum m'boh uh. Vai n'dae uh. Sangpho loh voei thum m'poci puei, vuenhlaem tuidung khuiah ka yoka sut.
three times I was beaten with rods, once I was stoned, three times I was shipwrecked, I have passed a night and a day in the deep;
26 Yincaehnah khaw ninoe, tuiva kah khoponah, dingca kah khoponah, namtu lamkah khoponah, namtom lamkah khoponah, kho khuikah khoponah, kohong kah khoponah, tuipuei kah khoponah, laithae manuca kah khoponah loh yet.
journeys many times, perils of rivers, perils of robbers, perils from [my own] race, perils from nations, perils in city, perils in wilderness, perils in sea, perils among false brothers;
27 thakthaenah neh patangnah dongah mikhue la ka om taitu. Khokha neh tuihalh dongah yaehnah neh ka om taitu. Khosik khuiah ka kolvang sut.
in laboriousness and painfulness, many times in watchings, in hunger and thirst, many times in fastings, in cold and nakedness;
28 Te bueng kolla hlangboel boeih kah mawntangnah tah hnin takuem ka thinrhihnah laom.
apart from the things without—the crowding on me that is daily—the care of all the assemblies.
29 U khaw a tattloel vaengah tah ka tattloel moenih a? U khaw a khah vaengah tah kai n'rhoh moenih a?
Who is weak, and I am not weak? Who is stumbled, and I am not burned?
30 Pomsang hama kuek atah ka vawtthoeknah dongkah te ka pomsang eh.
If it is necessary to boast, I will boast of the things of my weakness;
31 Ka laithae pawt te kumhal due uemom la aka om Pathen neh Boeipa Jesuh kah a napa loh a ming. (aiōn g165)
the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ—who is blessed for all ages—has known that I do not lie! (aiōn g165)
32 Damasku ah kai tuuk ham te manghai Aretas kah khotawt loh Damasaku kho khaw a tawt.
In Damascus the governor [under] Aretas the king was watching the city of the Damascenes, wishing to seize me,
and I was let down through a window in a rope basket, through the wall, and fled out of his hands.
