1 Te dongah phayoenah boeih khaw, tuengkhuepnah neh thailatnah boeih khaw, uethnetnah neh olthaekaling boeih hnawt uh laeh.
Having put aside therefore all malice and all deceit and (hypocrisies *NK+O) and envies and all evil speakings
2 Cahni thangpaek rhoek bangla, mueihla suktui tang te ngaidam uh lah. Te daengah ni te nen te khangnah dongah na rhoeng uh eh.
like newborn babies reasonable pure milk do crave so that by it you may grow up (in respect to salvation, *NO)
3 Boeipa tah kodam la na ten uh atah,
(if *N+kO) you have tasted that [is] good the Lord.
4 hlang loh a hnawt coeng ngawn dae Pathen taengah a khoelh la a coelh aka hing lungnu te paan uh.
To whom coming a stone living, by men indeed rejected in the sight of however God chosen [and] precious,
5 Nangmih khaw aka hing lungto bangla a cim khosoih la om ham mueihla im te sa uh. Jesuh Khrih rhangneh Pathen taengah a uem la mueihla hmueih te khuen uh.
also you yourselves as stones living are being built up as a house spiritual (into *no) a priesthood holy to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
6 Cacim khuiah a hulh coeng ta. Zion kah imkil lung te a khoelh la ka coelh tih ka tloeng ke. Te dongah anih soah aka pangtung tah yahpok loengloeng mahpawh.
(Therefore *N+kO) it is contained in Scripture: Behold I lay in Zion a stone cornerstone a chosen precious, and the [one] who is believing on Him certainly not may be put to shame.
7 Te dongah aka tangnah nangmih tah hinyahnah om pai. Tedae hnalval rhoek aih, te lungto te aka sa loh rhoek hnawt cakhaw imkil lu la poeh. Te dongah caehkoek lung neh thangkui lungpang la poeh.
To you therefore [is] the preciousness of those believing; ([for those] disbelieving *N+KO) however ([the] stone *N+kO) which rejected those building, this has become into [the] head of [the] corner
8 U khaw olka aka aek long tah a tongtah ham ni tekah te khaw a khueh.
and A stone of stumbling and a rock of offense, [They] stumble at on the word being disobedient, to which also they were appointed;
9 Tedae nangmih tah a coelh namtu, mangpa khosoih, namtu cim, dangnah dongkah pilnam ni. Te daengah ni yinnah lamkah nangmih te amah kah aka khuet vangnah khuila aka khue taengah boethen na tueng eh.
You yourselves however [are] a race chosen, a royal priesthood, a nation holy, a people for [His] possession, so that the excellencies you may proclaim of the [One] out of darkness you having called to the marvelous of Him light;
10 Hnukbuet kah a pilnam pawt te Pathen kah a pilnam la na om uh coeng. A rhen mueh te n'rhen coeng.
who once [were] not a people, now however [the] people of God, those [who] not received mercy, now however having received mercy.
11 Thintlo rhoek aw, te pumsa hoehhamnah te rhael ham yinlai neh lampah bangla nangmih kan hloep. Te tah hinglu dongkah vathoh banghui la om.
Beloved, I exhort [you] as aliens and sojourners to abstain from fleshly desires, which war against the soul;
12 Nangmih kah omih te namtom taengah a then la khueh uh. Te daengah ni laihmu bangla nangmih n'yan vaengah khoboe then aka hmu rhoek loh hiphoelnah khohnin ah Pathen te a thangpom uh eh.
the conduct of you among the Gentiles keeping honorable, so that wherein which they speak against you as evildoers, through the good deeds (having witnessed *N+kO) they may glorify God in [the] day of visitation.
13 Boeipa kongah tah suentae hlanghing boeih, tanglue manghai taengah khaw boengai uh.
do be subjected (therefore *K) to every human institution for the sake of the Lord; whether to [the] king as being supreme;
14 Laihmu te kutthungnah ham neh boethen te koehnah ham ni amah lamloh khoboei rhoek khaw a tueih.
or to governors as through him being sent for vengeance (indeed *k) to evildoers, praise however to well-doers;
15 Malkoelh-maldang hlang ang rhoek paa sak ham a thensai he Pathen kah kongaih tangloeng coeng ni.
because this is the will of God doing good to put to silence the of foolish men ignorance;
16 Te dongah poenghalnah he phayoenah kah muekdahnah la om boel saeh lamtah Pathen kah sal rhoek bangla aka loeih la omuh.
as free and not as a cover-up having for evil the freedom, but as of God servants.
17 Hlang boeih te hinyah lah. Manuca te lungnah. Pathen te rhih uh lamtah manghai te hinyah uh.
Everyone do honor, The brotherhood (do love, *NK+o) God do fear, the king do honor.
18 Imkhut rhoek, a cungkuem ah boengai uh lamtah boeikung te rhihnah khuehuh. Boethen neh kodo taeng bueng ah pawt tih vilvak rhoek taengah khaw birhih lah.
you who [are] Servants be subject with all fear to masters, not only to the good and gentle, but also to the unreasonable.
19 Pathen kah mingcimnah kongah khat khat loh kothaenah a yook tih a patang dahlawt atah te te lungvatnah la a om pah.
This for [is] acceptable, if for sake of conscience toward God endures anyone griefs suffering unjustly.
20 Na tholh tih m'phop vaengah na ueh uh koinih balae a uem eh? Tedae a then tih patang na ueh uh koinih ta, te ni Pathen taengah lungvatnah aka om.
What kind of for credit [is it] if sinning and being struck you will endure? But if doing good and suffering you will endure, this [is] commendable before God.
21 Khrih khaw nangmih ham a patang dongah ni te ham te n'khue. A kholaeh te rhoih hamla nangmih kah awtkoi la a khueh coeng.
To this hereunto for you have been called, because also Christ suffered for (for you, *N+KO) you leaving an example that you may follow after the steps of Him:
22 Anih tah tholhnah khaw saii pawt tih a ka dongah tuengkhuepnah khaw phoe pawh.
Who sin not committed, neither was found trickery in the mouth of Him,
23 Ol aka bai te thuung pawh. A patang vaengah hihham pawh. Tedae laitloek aka tiktam vik te a voeih uh.
Who being reviled not was not reviling back suffering not was threatening He was delivering [Himself] however to the [One] judging justly;
24 Amah loh mamih kah tholhnah te thing dongkah amah pum dongah a khuen coeng. Te daengah ni tholhnah dongah aka duek loh duengnah dongah n'hing uh eh. Amah kah boengha lamloh na hoeih uh coeng.
Who the sins of us Himself bore in the body of Him on the tree so that to sins having been dead to righteousness we may live; Of whom by the wounds (of him *k) you have been healed.
25 Tu bangla na om uh dongah na taengphael uh. Tedae tudawn neh na hinglu hiphoelkung taengla na bal uh coeng.
You were for like sheep (going astray *N+kO) but you have returned now to the Shepherd and Overseer of the souls of you.
