< 1 Khawrin 15 >

1 Tahae ah Manuca rhoek, nangmih ham olthangthen ka thui te nangmih ham ka phoe coeng. Tekah te na doe uh bal coeng. Tekah olthangthen dongah na pangtung uh bal.
And I make known to you, brothers, the good news that I proclaimed to you, which you also received, in which you also have stood,
2 Te lamlong ni na daem uh van. Nangmih taengkah ka phong olka te na tuuk uh atah a hoeihae la na tangnah uh aih bal mahpawh.
through which you are also being saved, if you hold fast [to] the word—what I proclaimed as good news to you—unless you believed in vain.
3 A tanglue khuikah ka doe van te nangmih kan doe. Khrih tah cacim dongkah bangla mamih kah tholh kongah a duek te.
For I delivered to you as most important what I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Writings,
4 Te phoeiah a up tih cacim vanbangla a thum hnin ah thoo.
and that He was buried, and that He has risen on the third day according to the Writings,
5 Te phoeiah Kephas, phoeiah hlainit loh a hmuh.
and that He appeared to Cephas, then to the Twelve,
6 Te phoeiah manuca yanga hlai loh tun a hmuh. Amih khuikah a yet ngai tah tahae due om uh pueng dae hlangvang tah ip uh coeng.
afterward He appeared to above five hundred brothers at once, of whom the greater part remain until now, and some also fell asleep;
7 Te phoeiah James loh a hmuh. Te phoeiah caeltueih boeih loh a hmuhuh.
afterward He appeared to James, then to all the apostles.
8 A hnukkhueng ah a halhthaih banghui la kai long khaw ka hmuh.
And last of all—as to the untimely birth—He also appeared to me,
9 Kai tah caeltueih khuikah thaihnoi lamni ka om. Pathen kah hlangboel te ka hnaemtaek dongah, “Anih tah caeltueih ni,” tila duelh n'khue ham a om moenih.
for I am the least of the apostles, who am not worthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the Assembly of God,
10 Tedae Pathen kah lungvatnah rhangneh ka om bangla ka om. Amah kah lungvatnah tah kai ham a tlongtlai la om pawh. Amih boeih lakah muep ka thakthae cakhaw kamah ah pawt tih kai taengkah aka om Pathen kah lungvatnah long m'patang sak.
and by the grace of God I am what I am, and His grace that [is] toward me did not come in vain, but I labored more abundantly than they all, yet not I, but the grace of God that [is] with me;
11 Te dongah kai long khaw amih long khaw ka hoe uh van tih na tangnah uh van.
whether, then, I or they, so we preach, and so you believed.
12 Te dongah Khrih tah duek lamkah thoo coeng tila ka hoe atah nangmih khuikah agnen loh balae tih, “Hlang duek thohkoepnah om pawh,” na ti uh.
And if Christ is preached, that He has risen out of the dead, how [do] certain among you say that there is no resurrection of [the] dead?
13 Hlang duek rhoek kah thohkoepnah khaw om pawt koinih Khrih khaw thoo mahpawh.
And if there is no resurrection of [the] dead, neither has Christ risen;
14 Te phoeiah Khrih thoo pawt koinih kaimih kah olhoe khaw a tlongtlai la om vetih nangmih kah tangnah te khaw a tlongtlai la om ni.
and if Christ has not risen, then our preaching [is] void, and your faith [is] also void,
15 Te phoeiah laithae laidang he khaw Pathen kah bangla m'hmuh uh. Khrih a thoh coeng te Pathen taengkah la m'phong uh. Amah te thoh pawt koinih aka duek rhoek khaw thoo uh van mahpawh.
and we are also found [to be] false witnesses of God, because we testified of God that He raised up the Christ, whom He did not raise if then dead persons do not rise;
16 Te dongah aka duek rhoek loh thoo uh pawt koinih Khrih khaw thoo mahpawh.
for if dead persons do not rise, neither has Christ risen,
17 Khrih khaw thoo pawt koinih nangmih kah tangnah te a honghi la om tih namamih kah tholh khuiah ni na om uh pueng.
and if Christ has not risen, your faith is vain, you are yet in your sins;
18 Te koinih Khrih ah aka ip rhoek khaw poci ni.
then, also, those having fallen asleep in Christ perished;
19 Khrih ah n'ngaiuep uh te tahae kah hingnah bueng ham n'khueh uh koinih hlang boeih lakah lungmasingta la n'om uh coeng.
if we only have hope in Christ in this life, we are to be most pitied of all men.
20 Tedae Khrih tah duek lamloh aka ip rhoek kah thaihcuek la thoo coeng.
And now, Christ has risen out of the dead—He became the first-fruits of those sleeping,
21 Hlang pakhat lamloh dueknah ha pawk vanbangla hlang pakhat lamloh aka duek rhoek kah thohkoepnah khaw ha thoeng van.
for since through man [is] death, also through Man [is] a resurrection of the dead,
22 Adam ah boeih a duek uh vanbangla Khrih ah khaw boeih hing uh van ni.
for even as in Adam all die, so also in the Christ all will be made alive,
23 Tedae pakhat rhip loh amah kah aitlaeng neh om tih Khrih tah thaihcuek la om. Te phoeiah Khrih kah rhoek tah Khrih amah kah a lonah dongah thoo uh ni.
and each in his proper order: Christ, a first-fruit, afterward those who are the Christ’s in His coming,
24 Te phoeikah pa Pathen taengah ram a tloeng vaengah, boeilu boeih, saithainah neh thaomnah boeih a phae vaengah diklai tue bawtnah te om ni.
then—the end, when He may deliver up the kingdom to God, even the Father, when He may have made all rule useless, and all authority and power.
25 Rhal boeih te a kho hmuiah a khueh duela manghai la a om a kuek.
For it is necessary for Him to reign until He may have put all the enemies under His feet.
26 Rhal hnukkhueng dueknah te a thup coeng.
The last enemy is done away with—death.
27 A cungkuem te a kho hmuiah boe a ngai sak coeng. Tedae a cungkuem te boe a ngai coeng tila a thui vaengah a taengla boeih boe aka ngai sak kah a hoep te mingpha coeng.
For He put all things under His feet, and when one may say that all things have been subjected, [it is] evident that He is excepted who subjected all things to Him,
28 Tedae anih taengah cungkuem loh a boe a ngai sak vaengah a taengkah boengai boeih te capa amah taengah khaw boe a ngai van ni. Te daengah ni Pathen tah cungkuem dongah cungkuem la a om pai eh.
and when all things may be subjected to Him, then also the Son Himself will be subject to Him, who subjected to Him all things, that God may be the all in all.
29 Te koinih aka duek rhoek yueng la tui aka nuem rhoek loh balae a saii uh eh. Aka duek rhoek te thoo loengloeng pawt koinih balae tih amih yueng la toektoek a nuem uh.
Seeing what will they do who are immersed for the dead, if the dead do not rise at all? Why are they also immersed for the dead?
30 Kaimih khaw balae hnin takuem kho ka po uh.
Why do we also stand in peril every hour?
31 Manuca rhoek, hnin takuem ah ka duek te nangmih taengah hoemdamnah la ka phoei. Te te mamih kah Khrih Jesuh Boeipa dongah ni ka dang.
I die every day, by the glorying of you that I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.
32 Hlang vanbangla Ephisa ah ka puet koinih kai ham hoeikhang aya te? Hlang duek rhoek loh a thoh uh pawt atah thangvuen ah n'duek uh ham coeng dongah ca uh sih lamtah o uh sih saw.
If I fought with wild beasts in Ephesus after the manner of a man, what [is] the advantage to me if the dead do not rise? Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!
33 Nangmih n'rhaithi uh boel saeh. Khoboe kodam he hui thae loh a poeih.
Do not be led astray; evil communications corrupt good manners;
34 A tiktam la sap uh lamtah tholh uh boeh. Hlangvang tah Pathen taengah malkoelh-maldang la na om uh. Nangmih yahpoh sak ham hekah he ka thui coeng.
wake up, as is right, and do not sin; for some have an ignorance of God; I say [it] to you for shame.
35 Tedae khat khat loh, “Aka duek te koe thoo a? Mebang pum nen lae ha pawk uh eh?” a ti uh ni.
But someone will say, “How do the dead rise?”
36 Hlang ang, nang loh na tuh te duek pawt koinih hing mahpawh.
Unwise! You—what you sow is not quickened except it may die;
37 Na tuh te khaw aka lo ham koi pum moenih. Tedae cang ti mai khaw a tloe khat khat kak ni na tuh.
and that which you sow, you do not sow the body that will be, but a bare grain, it may be of wheat, or of someone of the others,
38 Tedae Pathen loh a ngaih bangla amih taengah a pum te a paek. Cangti te khaw a pum rhip a paek.
and God gives a body to it according as He willed, and its proper body to each of the seeds.
39 Pumsa boeih khaw amah pumsa moenih. Hlang kah pumsa khaw a tloe, boiva kah pumsa khaw a tloe, vaa kah pumsa khaw a tloe, nga kah pumsa khaw a tloe ni.
All flesh [is] not the same flesh, but there is one flesh of men, and another flesh of beasts, and another of fishes, and another of birds;
40 Vaan pum khaw om. Diklai pum khaw om. Tedae vaan kah thangpomnah tah a hloeh, diklai kah khaw a hloeh ni.
and [there are] heavenly bodies and earthly bodies; but one [is] the glory of the heavenly, and another that of the earthly;
41 Khomik kah thangpomnah khaw a tloe, hla kah thangpomnah khaw a tloe, aisi kah thangpomnah khaw a tloe ni. Thangpomnah dongah aisi neh aisi khaw lang.
one glory of sun, and another glory of moon, and another glory of stars, for star differs from star in glory.
42 Te vanbangla hlang duek rhoek kah thohkoepnah tah lang van tangloeng. Hmawnnah dongah a tuh tih aka nguel dongah a thoh sak.
So also [is] the resurrection of the dead: it is sown in corruption, it is raised in incorruption;
43 Yahpohnah dongah a tuh te thangpomnah dongah a thoh sak. Vawtthoeknah dongah a tuh te thaomnah dongah a thoh sak.
it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power;
44 A coengnah pum la a tuh te mueihla pum la a thoh sak. A coengnah pum te a om atah mueihla pum khaw om.
it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body; there is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body;
45 Adam tah hlang lamhma la ana om tih hinglu la ana hing. Adam hnukkhueng tah aka hing sak mueihla ni tila a daek tangloeng bal ta.
so also it has been written: “The first man Adam became a living creature,” the last Adam [is] for a life-giving spirit,
46 Tedae Mueihla pum te lamhma pawt tih pumsa phoeiah ni mueihla a om.
but that which is spiritual [is] not first, but that which [was] natural, afterward that which [is] spiritual.
47 Hlang lamhma tah diklai laidik lamkah tih hlang pabae tah vaan lamkah ni.
The first man [is] out of the earth—earthly; the second Man [is] the LORD out of Heaven;
48 Laidik tah laidik bangla om van tangloeng. Vaan tah vaan bangla om van tangloeng.
as [is] the earthly, such [are] also the earthly; and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] also the heavenly;
49 Laidik kah mueimae m'buen uh bangla vaan kah mueimae khaw m'buen uh ni.
and according as we bore the image of the earthly, we will also bear the image of the heavenly.
50 Te dongah Manuca rhoek, “Pumsa loh thii loh Pathen kah ram pang thai pawh. Hmawnnah loh aka nguel te pang pawh,” tila ka thui coeng he.
And this I say, brothers, that flesh and blood are not able to inherit the Kingdom of God, nor does the corruption inherit the incorruption.
51 Nangmih taengah olhuep ni ka thui coeng he. Hlang boeih loh n'ip uh mahpawh. Tedae hlang boeih loh thovael uh ni.
Behold, I tell you a secret: we indeed will not all sleep, but we will all be changed;
52 Setrhuet kah, mik hap tok ah, olueng hnukkhueng vaengah thovael uh ni. Olueng a ueng vaengah aka duek rhoek te aka kuei la thoo uh vetih mamih khaw n'thovael uh ni.
in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, in the last trumpet, for it will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed;
53 Aka hmawn loh aka nguel te bai ham, aka duek thai long he aka nguel bai ham a kuek.
for it is necessary for this corruptible to put on incorruption, and this mortal to put on immortality;
54 Tedae hekah aka hmawn loh aka nguel te a bai tih aka duek loh aka nguel te a bai vaengah, “Dueknah tah voelpoengnah neh a dolh coeng,” tila a daek olka te soep van ni.
and when this corruptible may have put on incorruption, and this mortal may have put on immortality, then will be brought to pass the word that has been written: “Death was swallowed up—to victory;
55 Aw dueknah, nang kah voelpoengnah te melam nim? Aw dueknah nang kah suehling te melam nim. (Hadēs g86)
Where, O Death, your sting? Where, O Death [[or Hades]], your victory?” (Hadēs g86)
56 Te dongah dueknah suehling tah tholhnah ni. Tholhnah kah thaomnah tah olkhueng ni.
And the sting of death [is] sin, and the power of sin the Law;
57 Tedae mamih Boeipa Jesuh Khrih lamloh voelpoengnah mamih aka pae Pathen te ka lungvatnah.
and to God—thanks, to Him who is giving us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ;
58 Te dongah ka manuca thintlo rhoek tah cakrhuet la khak om uh. Boeipa kah bibi dongah baecoih yoeyah uh. Na thakthaenah tah Boeipa dongah a tlongtlai a om moenih tila ming uh.
so that, my beloved brothers, become steadfast, unmovable, abounding in the work of the LORD at all times, knowing that your labor in the LORD is not vain.
