1 To pacoengah van hoi anghum tathuk kalah vankami maeto ka hnuk, anih loe kalen parai sakthaihaih to tawnh; anih ih aanghaih hoiah long to toeh phaeng.
After these things, I saw another angel coming down out of the sky, having great authority. The earth was illuminated with his glory.
2 Anih mah Babylon vangpui loe amtim boeh, amtim boeh, taqawknawk ohhaih ahmuen ah angcoeng boeh, panuet thok kasae muithlanawk ohhaih ahmuen ah angcoeng boeh, kamhnong, panuet thok tavaanawk paunghaih ahmuen ah oh boeh.
He cried with a mighty voice, saying, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, and she has become a habitation of demons, a prison of every unclean spirit, and a prison of every unclean and hated bird!
3 Prae kaminawk loe anih hoi sak ih palungphuihaih misurtui mah paqui o boih boeh: long siangpahrangnawk loe anih hoiah zaehaih sak o moe, kangsum thai ai anih ih zae sak koehhaih mah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk to angraengsak aep boeh, tiah tha hoi a hang.
For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality, the kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth grew rich from the abundance of her luxury.”
4 To pacoengah, Kai ih kaminawk, anih zaehaihnawk thungah na thum o han ai, anih mah tong ih raihaih baktiah raihaihnawk na tong o han ai ah, anih khae hoiah tacawt oh.
I heard another voice from heaven, saying, “Come out of her, my people, that you have no participation in her sins, and that you don’t receive of her plagues,
5 Anih mah sak ih zaehaihnawk loe van khoek to phak boeh, a sak ih zaehaihnawk to Sithaw mah pahnet pae ai.
for her sins have reached to the sky, and God has remembered her iniquities.
6 Anih mah minawk nuiah sak ih hmuen baktih toengah a nuiah sah ah, a sak ih toknawk baktih toengah alet hnetto pathok ah: anih mah minawk han lawn pae ih baktih toengah, anih han doeh boengloeng alet hnetto kakoiah lawn paeh.
Return to her just as she returned, and repay her double as she did, and according to her works. In the cup which she mixed, mix to her double.
7 Anih loe zae sakhaih bangah kanawm acaeng moe, angmah hoi angmah to amkoeh, anih mah vaihi patangkhanghaih hoi palungsethaih to hnuk boeh: Babylon mah angmah ih palung thung hoiah, Kai loe siangpahrang zu baktiah kang hnut, lamhmai ah kaom mak ai, natuek naah doeh palungsethaih ka tongh mak ai, tiah thuih.
However much she glorified herself and grew wanton, so much give her of torment and mourning. For she says in her heart, ‘I sit a queen, and am no widow, and will in no way see mourning.’
8 To pongah anih mah nito thungah raihaih, tiah thuih ih duekhaih, palungsethaih, khokhahaih to tong tih; hnukkhuem ah loe anih to hmai hoiah qoeng o tih: anih lokcaekkung loe Thacak Angraeng Sithaw ah oh, tiah van hoiah thuih ih kalah lok maeto ka thaih.
Therefore in one day her plagues will come: death, mourning, and famine; and she will be utterly burned with fire, for the Lord God who has judged her is strong.
9 Nongpa nongpata zaehaih to sak moe, anih hoi kanawm kacaeng long siangpahrangnawk mah anih qoenghaih hmaikhue hnuk o naah, anih to qah o haih ueloe, anih han mikkhraetui long o haih tih,
The kings of the earth who committed sexual immorality and lived wantonly with her will weep and wail over her, when they look at the smoke of her burning,

standing far away for the fear of her torment, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, Babylon, the strong city! For your judgment has come in one hour.’
11 Long nuiah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe, nihcae ih hmuenmae qan kami om ai boeh pongah, anih to qah o haih ueloe, palungsae o haih tih:
The merchants of the earth weep and mourn over her, for no one buys their merchandise any more:

The fruits which your soul lusted after have been lost to you. All things that were dainty and sumptuous have perished from you, and you will find them no more at all.
15 To nongpata rang hoiah hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe angraeng o boeh. Toe anih patangkhanghaih to a zit o pongah, ahmuen kangthla ah angdoe o ueloe, palungset hoiah qah o tih.
The merchants of these things, who were made rich by her, will stand far away for the fear of her torment, weeping and mourning,

17 Kawbangmaw to tiah lensawk angraenghaihnawk loe atue maeto thungah anghmat o boih halat! tiah thui o tih. Palong tawnkung, palongpui hoi kholong caeh kaminawk boih, palong thoek kaminawk boih, tuipui hoi hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe ahmuen kangthla ah angdoe o tih,
For in an hour such great riches are made desolate.’ Every ship master, and everyone who sails anywhere, and mariners, and as many as gain their living by sea, stood far away,

and cried out as they looked at the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like the great city?’
19 Nihcae mah angmacae lu nuiah maiphu to angphuih o ueloe, palungset hoiah qah o pacoeng ah, Ala, ala, tuipui caehhaih palongpui tawn kaminawk han angraenghaih paekkung, lensawk vangpui loe atue maeto thungah anghmat boih boeh! tiah hang o tih.
They cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and mourning, saying, ‘Woe, woe, the great city, in which all who had their ships in the sea were made rich by reason of her great wealth!’ For she is made desolate in one hour.
20 Nangcae pacaekthlaekhaih atho, Sithaw mah anih nuiah lu lak boeh pongah, Aw van nang, patoeh ih kaciim kaminawk, tahmaanawk hoi nawnto anghoe o ah.
“Rejoice over her, O heaven, you holy ones, emissaries, and prophets, for God has judged your judgment on her.”
21 To pacoengah thacak vankami maeto mah kalen pui cang kaehhaih thlung baktiah kaom thlung maeto lak moe, tuipui thungah vah pacoengah, Thacakhaih hoiah Babylon vangpui to hae tiah va ueloe, natuek naah doeh hnu let mak ai boeh.

22 Nang khae hoiah katoeng kruek kaminawk, katoeng kruek kop kaminawk, tamoi ueng kaminawk hoi mongkah ueng kaminawk mah uengh o ih atuen apawk to natuek naah doeh thaih mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah ban tok sak kop kaminawk to natuek naah doeh hnu mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah cang kaehhaih atuen natuek naah doeh thaih mak ai boeh.
The voice of harpists, minstrels, flute players, and trumpeters will be heard no more at all in you. No craftsman of whatever craft will be found any more at all in you. The sound of a mill will be heard no more at all in you.
23 Nang khae hoiah natuek naah doeh hmaiim paaanghaih om mak ai boeh; nang khae hoiah natuek naah doeh zu kala thendoeng tangla ih lok to thaih mak ai boeh: nang ih hmuenmae zaw kaminawk loe long nui ih kalen kami ah oh o; miklet na sakhaih hoiah prae kaminawk to na ling boih boeh.
The light of a lamp will shine no more at all in you. The voice of the bridegroom and of the bride will be heard no more at all in you, for your merchants were the princes of the earth; for with your sorcery all the nations were deceived.
24 To vangpui thungah long nuiah hum ih, tahmaanawk hoi kaciim kaminawk ih athii longhaih to oh, tiah thuih.
In her was found the blood of prophets and of holy ones, and of all who have been slain on the earth.”
