So when He came down from the mountain large crowds followed Him.
2 Khenah, ngansae man kami maeto anih khaeah angzoh moe, anih to a bok, Angraeng na koeh nahaeloe, kai hae nang ciimsak thaih, tiah a naa.
And then, a leper came and worshiped Him saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.”
3 Jesu mah ban payangh moe, anih to sui, Ka koeh; ciim lai ah, tiah a naa. Akra ai anih ih ngansae nathaih to hoih pae roep.
So reaching out His hand Jesus touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed!” And immediately his leprosy was cleansed.
4 Jesu mah anih khaeah, Mi khaeah doeh thui hmah; nihcae mah panoek o hanah, caeh ah loe qaima khaeah na takpum to patuek ah, Mosi ih kaalok baktih toengah tangqum to paek ah, tiah a naa.
And Jesus says to him: “See that you tell no one; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer the gift that Moses commanded, as a proof to them.”
5 Jesu Kapernuam vangpui ah akun naah, misatuh angraeng maeto anih khaeah angzoh moe, tahmenhaih hnik,
As He entered Capernaum a centurion came to Him, pleading with Him
6 Angraeng, ka tamna loe khok ban angtawt thai ai nathaih hoiah im ah angsong sut, ngannat nung parai, tiah a naa.
and saying, “Lord, my servant is lying at home paralyzed, being terribly tormented.”
7 Jesu mah anih khaeah, Kang zoh moe, ngan ka tuisak han, tiah a naa.
And Jesus says to him, “I will go and heal him.”
8 To naah misatuh angraeng mah anih khaeah, Angraeng, kai ih im ah nang angzoh hanah kam cuk ai: lok khue mah thui ah, ka tamna loe ngantui tih.
But in answer the centurion said: “Lord, I am not worthy that you should come under my roof; but only speak a word and my servant will be healed.
9 Kai loe ukhaih tlim ah ka oh, ka tlim ah misatuh kaminawk oh o: kami maeto khaeah, Caeh ah, tiah ka thuih naah a caeh; kalah maeto khaeah, Angzo ah, tiah ka thuih naah anih to angzoh; ka tamna khaeah, Hae hae sah ah, tiah ka thuih naah a sak, tiah a naa.
For I also am a man under authority, having soldiers under me. And I say to this one, ‘Go,’ and he goes; and to another, ‘Come,’ and he comes; and to my slave, ‘Do this,’ and he does.”
10 To lok to Jesu mah thaih naah, dawnrai moe, a hnukbang kaminawk khaeah, Loktang kang thuih o, Israel kaminawk salakah to baktih kalen parai tanghaih to ka hnu vai ai vop.
Upon hearing him Jesus marveled, and said to those who were following: “Assuredly I say to you, not even in Israel have I found such great faith!
11 Kang thuih o, paroeai kaminawk ni angyae, niduem bang hoiah angzo o ueloe, Abraham, Isak, Jakob hoi nawnto van prae ah anghnu o tih.
And I say to you that many will come from east and west and sit down with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of the heavens;

but the sons of the kingdom will be thrown out into the darkness farthest away. There, there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.”
13 To pacoengah Jesu mah misatuh angraeng khaeah, Caeh lai ah; na tanghaih baktih toengah, nang khaeah sak ah oh boeh, tiah a naa. To na thuem ih atue ah anih ih tamna to ngantui roep.
Then Jesus said to the centurion, “Go; and let it be done for you just as you believed.” And his servant was healed in that very hour.
14 Piter im ah Jesu angzoh naah, Piter zu ih amno loe ngannat moe, angsong sut.
Now when Jesus had come into Peter's house, He saw his mother-in-law laid up and burning with fever.
15 Anih mah nongpata ih ban to sui pae naah, nongpata to ngantui: to pacoengah nongpata to angthawk moe, nihcae to a khetzawn.
So He touched her hand and the fever left her; and she got up and began to serve Him.

And when evening came they brought to Him many who were demonized. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick,
17 tahmaa Isaiah mah, Aicae thazokhaihnawk to anih mah lak moe, aicae nathaihnawk to a phawh, tiah thuih ih lok akoep han ih ni to tiah oh.
so that what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet should be fulfilled, namely: “He Himself took our infirmities and bore our diseases.”
18 Jesu mah a taengah kaom paroeai kaminawk to hnuk naah, tuipui yaeh ah caeh hanah lok a paek.
Seeing large crowds around Him Jesus gave an order to depart for the opposite shore.
19 To naah ca tarik kami maeto anih khaeah angzoh, Patukkung, na caehhaih ahmuen kruekah kang bang han, tiah a naa.
Then a certain scribe approaching said to Him, “Teacher, I will follow you wherever you may go.”
20 Jesu mah anih khaeah, Tasuinawk loe akhaw tawnh o, van ih tavaanawk doeh tabu tawnh o; toe kami Capa loe lu koenghaih ahmuen mataeng doeh tawn ai, tiah a naa.
So Jesus says to him, “The foxes have dens and the birds of the air have nests, but the Son of the Man does not have where He may lay His head.”
21 A hnukbang kalah kami maeto mah anih khaeah, Angraeng, ka caeh moe, kam pa aphum hmaloe han vop, tiah a naa.
Then a different one of the disciples said to Him, “Lord, permit me first to go and bury my father.”
22 Toe Jesu mah anih khaeah, Ka hnukah bang ah; kadueh kaminawk mah kadueh angmacae ih kaminawk to aphum o nasoe, tiah a naa.
But Jesus said to him, “Follow me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.”
23 Anih palong thungah akun naah, a hnukbang kaminawk doeh anih hnukah caeh o.
Now when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
24 Khenah, tuipui ah takhi sae song moe, tuiphu mah palong to boh: toe anih loe iih.
And then—a great tempest arose on the sea, so that the boat was covered by the waves. But He was sleeping.
25 A hnukbang kaminawk anih khaeah caeh o moe, anih to palawt o, Angraeng, kaicae hae na pahlong ah: kam ro o han boeh, tiah a naa o.
So the disciples came and awakened Him saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!”
26 Anih mah nihcae khaeah, Tanghaih tamsi kaminawk, tipongah na zit o loe? tiah a naa. To pacoengah anih loe angthawk moe, takhi hoi tuipui to zoeh; to naah takhi to dip.
And He says to them, “Why are you cowardly, you little-faiths?” Then rising He rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm.
27 Nihcae loe dawnrai o, hae kami loe kawbaktih kami maw vai? Takhi hoi tuipui mah mataeng doeh a lok tahngai pae o bae hae! tiah a thuih o.
So the men marveled, saying, “What sort of being is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?”
28 Tuipui yaeh ah kaom Kerkesen prae to a phak naah, taqawk tawn kami hnetto taprong hoiah anih khaeah angzoh hoi; nihnik loe hmawsaeng hoi parai pongah to loklam ah mi doeh caeh thai ai.
Upon His coming to the other side, to the region of the Gergesenes, two demonized men met Him, coming out from the tombs, very dangerous, so that no one could pass that way.
29 Khenah, nihnik loe hang hoi moe, Nang Sithaw Capa, nang loe kaihnik hoi asaenghaih timaw oh? Atue pha ai naah kaihnik pacaekthlaek han ih maw nang zoh, tiah a naa hoi.
And then—they cried out saying: “What do you have to do with us, Jesus, Son of God? Have you come here to torment us before the time?”
30 Nihnik ohhaih ahmuen hoi kangthla kue ahmuen ah pop parai ok pacahhaih ahmuen to oh.
Now a good way off from them there was a herd of many pigs feeding.
31 Taqawknawk mah Anih khaeah, Kaicae hae nang haek nahaeloe, oknawk takoh thungah na caehsak ah, tiah tahmenhaih a hnik o.
So the demons kept imploring Him saying, “Since you are going to cast us out, permit us to go into the herd of pigs.”
32 Jesu mah nihcae khaeah, Caeh oh, tiah a naa. Taqawknawk loe tacawt o moe, ok takoh thungah akun o: khenah, oknawk loe tuipui ohhaih bangah tha hoi cawnh o tathuk moe, tui thungah duek o boih.
So He said to them, “Go!” And coming out they went off into the herd of pigs. And then—the whole herd of pigs rushed down the steep bank into the sea and died in the water!
33 Ok pacah kaminawk loe vangpui thungah cawnh o moe, taqawk tawn kami hnik khaeah kaom hmuennawk boih to thuih o.
So the swineherds ran away, and going into the town they told everything, including about the demonized men.
34 Khenah, vangpui thung ih kaminawk boih Jesu hnuk hanah caeh o: anih to hnuk o naah, nihcae prae thung hoi tacawt ving hanah Anih khaeah tahmenhaih a hnik o.
And then, the whole town went out to meet with Jesus; and upon seeing Him they begged Him to depart from their borders.
